“Gonna Touch The Sky” marks his debut on Moods & Grooves and there is no doubt that it will literally make you touch the sky! The EP opens with the reshape from none other than deep house legend Fred P. When it come to (ultra) deep house beautiness, Fred is the real don. Melodic, dreamy and groovy. "Work The Terminals" is an animated, minor-key, wall-shaking analog bassline (ask his neighbor) & cracking drum kit with an LFO/filter-freaked sample chop chutney holding it all together on a funky house tip. Instead, it just tweaks and refines, colours a little around the edges, but always keeps musicality and soul at the centre. The groove boys project are what we can commonly call true soldiers of house music. Since their irruption on the scene in 2015, they have not stopped promoting house, deep house and all its variants (new jersey, dream house, jazzy house ect ...) through their multiple releases and their DJ sets. Their sound is completely analog (one day to see their studio, it's worth it!). This ep was indeed inspired by the Italian scene (which skylax records has always promoted), they are accompanied by Novaj (pioneer in France with his youtube channel dedicated to the most beautiful house songs), producer in his spare time, their association is wreaking havoc. The GBP have already signed several remixes for us (soul of the makossa man) and we are delighted to finally be able to dedicate a release worthy of the name to them. "Never 4get EP", an EP of house tracks from KERAW (Bruce Vanderro & Lucas Moinet) made at their Studio 937 in Paris. For this release, they wanted to give back the original color of the traditional deep house sound from New Jersey with four essential-to-release tracks of theirs. "Never 4get About The Second Vibe" pays tribute to the 90's deep chords tradition with a proper hardcore deep house second vibe. On the other hand, "Until The End Of The Night" brings a deep & introspective ballad theme to the record, while "50%" and "Jersey Bass" ensure the resurrection of the early 90's traditional New Jersey sound. All tracks have been composed, recorded and produced at Studio 937 with yesterday's and today's hardware equipment. Matter of fact, Keraw never wants to forget the NY sound of deep house music foundations.
KERAW is a deep house production duo made by Lucas Moinet (Groove Boys Project) and Bruce Vanderro (aka Rawaï). This production team is the fusion between an instrumentalist and a beat maker, and became a common ground project for paying tribute to the early 90's US House sound. Their production process is mainly hardware based with an full analog recording studio and old school recording methods. Through their record collection, Lucas & Bruce fell for the NY deep house sound and co-founded the Studio 937 in 2018 as a place to create, experiment and record their music. Behind the desk, they play old school house music records in the NY tradition.

The duo's 2008 'Silent Movie' LP was a critical smash hit that resulted in remix commissions for the likes of Bryan Ferry, The Gorillas, Leftfi eld, Francois K, Massive Attack and many more. After a few years in the wilderness, unable to use their nom de plume due to contractual restrictions, the pair launched The Quiet Village label in 2024 with 'Reunion', a stunning 6/8-time urban jazz odyssey, a favourite of the likes of Luke Una, Gilles Peterson and Ryan Elliott.
