In the spirit of 1960's and 1970's futurism, when tuned in musical explorers developed
avant-garde music that reflected Man's newly expanded frontiers temporal and beyond, Berlin based Argentine producer Nico Purman brings us AOM002 on his label Art Of Memory. Themes of exploration, new horizons, and a deepening appreciation of our place in the expanding infinite are the concepts Nico evokes with *AOM002*. Evolving and maturing from functional dance tracks of his past, Purman defines a deep expanse bound only by
the imagination of the listener and their openness of mind. Bass moves the soul while synth and space free the mind from earthly confines, lifting off from A1 and leaving you in orbit with D2.
Conjuring the workflow of vanguard pioneers, Nico employed the same analog tools and limitations of his New Wave science fiction driven forefathers. Purman succeeds in channeling this deep reservoir while carrying their torch, evolving their lessons with modern eyes, ears, and consciousness.
To label Nico's *AOM002* as techno would be tantamount to calling Kubrick's "2001" a film or the Saturn V merely a rocket. All are much more than that. They are manifestations of ideas, art, and technology that transport the mind and signal the rise of a new understanding
as constraints and boundaries fall. They collectively intend to incite wonder, leave terrestrial confines, and urge you look up at the night sky to wonder ever farther, ever deeper.
The late 1960's and early 1970's gave us 5 years of moon missions, the first view of our lonely blue dot, the inspiration of math and science, and New Wave science fiction. From this vaulted era Nico seemly pulls to create *AOM002*, seeking to reinspire us to reach for the stars and welcome the new reality they bring.
AOM002 is a conceptual release splited in two parts.

Reaching the milestone of its 100th single/EP release, Circus Company welcomes back Aquarius Heaven with a new EP of poignant, uplifting house music loaded with a meaningful message for these transient times. It’s nearly three years since Brian Brewster delivered the Parallela Mundi 12”, and in that time he has been on a relentless mission to spread his unique blend of house music, Caribbean roots and psychedelic magic across the globe in a whirlwind of live performances and collaborations. In a manifestation of his well-travelled soul, these new pieces call upon traditional influences in amongst the modern motifs that Aquarius Heaven has been built on, while lyrically dealing with the pressing issue of refugees escaping conflict, poverty and famine. The proud drum throwdown and carnival bleeps of “Bato Chargé” conceal the seriousness of its theme. In Brewster’s native tongue Creole, bato chargé translates as overloaded boat. With the Caribbean as equally rooted in the history of displaced humanity at the hands of sinister powers, the groove of “Bato Chargé” takes on a defiant, hopeful tone directly inspired by the traditional percussive music style Gow Ka. “50 Drops” by way of contrast takes on a noirish tone with its gritty, street-weary tale and nocturnal melodics played out through enchanting arpeggios and warbling leads. Cooling off the tempo and heading into a digi-dub skank that plays off Brewster’s roots in reggae and dancehall, “Marie Galante” takes those same warm synths and runs them through a low-but-heavy stepping landscape; the perfect backdrop to the vocalist’s dexterous ramblings on the mic. It’s not often you hear Creole New Release Information delivered in contemporary electronic music, with a rare exception being the legendary work of Tikiman et al with Rhythm & Sound in the 90s.
As with the previous releases we have presented from Aquarius Heaven, in every deft lyric and musical flourish Bato Chargé demonstrates just how much range this ever-evolving artist has in his globetrotting soul.

Like some ingenious combination of John Cage's chance operations and the numbers station data stream captured on The Conet Project, Strategy's new album immerses listeners in baffling sonic waters.
It's a riveting work that converts the enigmatic effluvia of shortwave and dispatch radio chatter into thrumming, staticriddled clouds of ambience. An undercurrent of unease wafts through Information
Pollution's four lengthy tracks, as barely audible molecules of aural junk never meant for public consumption get repurposed into an unsettling strain of inverted chillout music.
Information Pollution was born out of restraints. After moving into a new house with little space to set up his studio properly, Strategy (Portland producer Paul Dickow) could only work with a few devices at a
time. He'd acquired an old Akai reeltoreel tape deck with tube preamps from his father, who'd recently cleaned out his own studio. Using radios, homemade effects boxes, and the tape deck, Strategy recorded these sound collages live to tape, without touching any synths or deploying any samples. “I discovered a lot of ghostly shortwave sounds,” Dickow says, “but also ambulance, parking, and school bus dispatch channels on forgotten frequencies that I think might have been once used for police or broadcast TV.” The result falls somewhere between Philip Jeck's eroding turntable symphonies and William Basinski's poignantly decaying Disintegration Loops.
Dickow relates that he uses the term “Information Pollution” to classify “any spam, broadcast saturation, junk mail, invasion of unwanted information [that enters] the socialemotional public realm.” As with the material Strategy created with cassette tape loops on his last Further release, 2015's Noise Tape Self, “there's a sense of machines having their own life, beyond our control.” But instead of chaos, Strategy has produced an artful alchemization of discarded tones. Although Information Pollution sounds unlike anything in Strategy's sprawling catalog, he likens the album to his activities within Portland's '90s/early '00s experimental/noise scene. The reason he hasn't issued anything in this style till now? He wanted to wait till he was sure he'd “given it the necessary rigor and study.” With this album Strategy has shaped the random output of radios into a gripping document. As Dickow puts it, “This is the audio equivalent of photographing the oil slicks that appear in the puddles of parking lots."

2015 has been such an amazing and busy year for us, with loads of work on a new version of our live show with a new Dam Swindle member on the keys well as countless other shows and records on Heist and Freerange).Right now, we're happy to say that we've made good use of our studio time and have fired up our gear to record the 'In Reverse' EP.
This EP for us represents a period where we've been enjoying loads of new music, and have gotten inspiration from many different sources, to see in what way we can expand the Dam Swindle sound. The 4 tracks on this EP each showcase a different part of us ranging from house to acid to disco to warehouse, and will have something for the classic DS fan, as well as some new vibes.

hafendisko's hamburg elektronisch is back with a delicious teaser ahead of the third album of the series. Once more the label stands up and shouts about the city's rich and diverse electronic music scene. The series so far has brought together local legends and up and coming artists alike - showing the world that Hamburg's famous modesty hides an embarrassment of riches.
This vinyl only EP lands prior to the full compilation, and features some exclusive reasons to get very excited.
Longtime not only home-town favorite Erobique (Carsten Mayer) sets out the stall for this release with the very special title track - 'Teknomusi', a charming, deranging and driving take on 'techno music' - quite different from his usual, rather funk driven output.
Oliver Huntemann - who's contribution to the Hamburg scene (most recently via his Senso label) has been incalculable over the last couple of years, brings us 'Kiez'- a dark and moody tech house growler that gets under the skin from the very start.
Remute (Denis Karimani) is no slouch in making people move either, and as owner of the Remute label has been responsible for some of the city's finest output. 'Summer Slump', which sees its vinyl premiere here, sees him lock into a techy groove and explore various audio textures and shades, while keeping things firmly rooted to the floor.
'Teufelsbrück' (Vinyl Edit) comes courtesy of the Wareika guys, (Jakob Seidensticker, Florian Schirmacher and Henrik Raabe) who's dedication to exploring the further reaches of electronic dance music always impress. Oliver Huntemann - who's contribution to the Hamburg scene (most recently via his Senso label) has been incalculable over the last couple of years, brings us 'Kiez'- a dark and moody tech house growler that gets under the skin from the very start.
Remute (Denis Karimani) is no slouch in making people move either, and as owner of the Remute label has been responsible for some of the city's finest output. 'Summer Slump', which sees its vinyl premiere here, sees him lock into a techy groove and explore various audio textures and shades, while keeping things firmly rooted to the floor.
'Teufelsbrück' (Vinyl Edit) comes courtesy of the Wareika guys, (Jakob Seidensticker, Florian Schirmacher and Henrik Raabe) who's dedication to exploring the further reaches of electronic dance music always impress. Here we get an amazing trip into psychedelic tropicalia vibes via techno driven synth incantations.

With their new album entitled Trembling Air, Hungarian electroacoustic duo 12z (onetwozed) present an eclectic palette of intricate, improvisatory tone poems. This is the first of two upcoming full-lengths with the label and the second,Trembling Air, will follow in just a few months.
As pure improvisors, Bálint Szabó and Márton Kristóf have constructed a substantial body of work, including film scores, studio recordings, and a significant archive of 12z [sessionz] — weekly improvised jams with a shifting cast of collaborators. These [sessionz] were compiled into a self-released podcast which followed their self-titled debut on Hungarian label Farbwechsel. All this is not even to mention their live work, which is at the foundation of 12z’s craft and artistry. With Bálint on guitar, Márton on electronics, and guest member Áron Porteleki often joining on drums, they fluctuate between jagged rhythmic passages, floating moments of harmonic tension, and any other form that emerges, always chiseling structure from the chaos.
Trembling Air marks another direction in 12z's work, being their first entirely electronic recording. The album was sparked by György Pálfi’s film Free Fall, for which it was recorded as a potential score, but it stands strong independently, conjuring its own strange images.

It’s been fours years since the original release of Lovers Do. For the first time now finally released on vinyl. In the meantime he’s kept very busy––primarily with side projects. First there was Others, his experimental house outfit with Daze Maxim. Then came Public Lover, his duo with the French artist Ninca Leece that debuted last year on thesongsays (Bruno’s label). He’s continued to join forces with Sammy Dee as Half Hawaii, playing live shows around Europe and putting out tracks on Perlon and Diamonds & Pearls. As half of the duo Ndf, he coproduced Since We Last Met, a single that marked his debut on DFA and landed in Pitchfork’s top tracks of the year. But while he was juggling all these different projects, one piece of music was slowly taking shape: his third and most immersive album, Lovers Do. Like much of Bruno’s work to date, Lovers Do is experimental without being snobby––or to use his own term, “accidentally avantgarde”–– but this one takes it further than the others. It has a looseness that’s truly rare in techno; scrapping formulaic verses and breaks, it winds along like an abstract sketch, guided by intuition instead of logic. Some songs are fraught with nervous tension, others are soothing and rich with detail, from dappling rhodes to orchestral swells, jazzy drum fills and wet hand claps. Human voices swirl in and out of the mix, serving only to make things more surreal. Many of the tracks stretch well beyond ten minutes; one bows out after less than three. The album overall is delicate and subtle, but it also features Bruno’s best club tune in years, the eerie and delirious “Feel Right.” Brian Eno once described his own music as a place you occupy rather than a thing that happens. Lovers Do is such a place; a lovely, impressionistic scene with amber tones and murky figures, dim street lights and dusty shadows. Bruno spent two years composing Lovers Do at his home studio in Prenzaluerberg, Berlin. His muse Ninca Leece makes scattered cameos throughout

Curitiba-based AIA Records returns with it's second release. Lucas and Marcelo - also known as DoNeck - started to join forces back in early-2013. Musically influenced by international recognised artists such as San Soda, Andre´s and Move D, the duo also found significance in the sounds of AIA's own label heads Aninha & Antonela Antonela Giampietro. Therefore, creating a mixture of three soulful, deep but endlessly sounding tracks seems very convincing and credible to the overall ethos of the imprint. With 'Assaz' the duo delivers a deep but soulful house number, whereas 'Ocluso' is deep house at it's best, with a light atmospheric vibe and the echoing vocal. With the second 12“Maxi Single release of two new AMBIQ tracks, from the album „AMBIQ 2“, and after a first EP featuring sparkling remixes by Ricardo Villalobos and Tobias Freund, arjunamusic is continuing the remix series which brings electro-acoustic music into a alternative techno environment, now featuring Thomas Fehlmann and Margaret Dygas. The fluid, open-ended nature of the AMBIQ trio’s compositions, which never remain trapped in one musical genre or another, gives them an almost irresistible “sample- ability.” This quality lends them to all kinds of inspired re- interpretations, and this new pair of remixes is a good proof of that. Orb / Kompakt alumnus Thomas Fehlmann, as well as eclectic producer Margaret Dygas, are no strangers to psychedelic narrative epics of sound, and they take to this task with the ease of expert engineers. Fehlmann’s familiar low-end rolling and provide the rocket fuel which takes his “Meta” mix beyond the stratosphere, though these classic techno elements never neglect the eerie ‘singing saw’ quivers and drum kit chatter of the original material. It’s a mutant dub that, like the best electronic music, never feels ‘manufactured’ for a moment and permeates every corner of listeners’ active imagination. Meanwhile, Dygas’ noir-tinged “The Mother” remix incorporates all kinds of clever low-end subtleties and sliced- and-diced sound fragments while still leaving plenty of room for Ambiq’s woodwinds and percussive commentary to have their say. The unique enveloping feel of the music gives one the uncanny feeling of both secretly observing someone and being secretly observed, a shift in perspective that is only accomplished by the most well-considered new music.

For the latest instalment in the Apollonia story we look to Argentina and the talented producer Federico Molinari. Having been based in Germany for the last couple of decades, Federico has refined his sound, developing a strong signature through his DJ sets and his studio productions, most of which he has released via his label OSLO. Federico’s ability to craft effortless grooves and timeless rhythms is evident here on this killer new three-tracker. Side A is the eight-minute long roller ‘Congo Toys’. The focus here is on a crisp 4x4 beat, which keeps things simple – under this lies a sturdy bassline. All the while, the low end is accompanied by a series of bleeps, which could almost be the chatter between two archaic computers, modulated and weaving in and out of the beats and bass. On the flip, we have two more dance floor-ready joints. Like ‘ Congo Toys, ‘Tres Cuartos’ is focused around a simple foundation, with layers of unusual effects – an overriding sense of playfulness comes through in Molinari’s production, perfect for the boogie down crew. Last up, ‘Joyfex’ takes us further into leftfield, hypnotic, hazy atmospherics draw us into their web and we’re tangled up in a mesh of vibrating whirrs and echoing, distorted voices. Ilija Rudman is quite a unique character. A fact reinforced by listening to some of the records from his vast catalogue, taking a walk through his next level studio or simply talking to him. Preferably, all three at once, as it is often the case. Authenticity is the word that comes to mind when describing the work of this leading Croatian artist or while listening to the material we are proud to put out on 12th Burek release. The record features three cuts. “Higher Ground” is Rudman’s solo effort while the two on the flip are coproduced by Boyd H. Jarvis, an American producer credited to numerous 12” on classic labels such as Trax Records, King Street Sounds, Movin’ Records and Dance Tracks (to mention a selected few). Although releases made in a similar fashion tend to sound somewhat unfocused, the result here is exactly the opposite. What we have here is 20 minutes of some of the slickest house music you’ll find, sounding so coherent that dissecting it track by track seems pointless. This is a 12” that will feel equally at home in a club or blasting through the speakers of your convertible while driving on the California
coast in the summer.

Magnetic techno attractors. Steel crisis alarm signal funk. Europa-futura rave gyrations. Counterchange founder Ed Davenport returns with his Inland alias after a short hiatus to re-ignite Function's Infrastructure imprint which he co-manages. An Inland EP also droped on Boddika's Nonplus+ label last autumn picking up strong support as Ed honed in the project's sound strategy. COUNTER006 continues the conceptual yet dancefloor-friendly approach with an emphasis on bold, metallic textures, classic sci-fi techno theories and ethereal melodic sequences. Footstone is a straight up modern-rave track aimed at the peak hours, its syncopated, mutated synth hook riding atop a tough jack-track. Sinker sets off an emergency self-destruct alarm while dropping a layer of tough detroit-styled funk on top. This leaves Leylines to carve a smoother, melodic path through the current European techno landscape; bleepy, bass heavy and forward thinking. Following this EP will be a remix package featuring mixes from Matrixxman, Par Grindvik, BNJMN and Madrid based Pole Group affiliate Ribe. Frak are Björn Isgren, Johan Sturesson and Jan Svensson, a trio of synthesizer lovers from Sweden. The band was formed when Svensson and Isgren’s older sisters were best friends and they introduced their little brothers to each other. Inspired by Severed Heads, DAF, Human League, Devo, Skinny Puppy, the boys began collecting analog equipment and started Studio Styrka. While the band were still in their early teens they released the first FRAK cassette album in 1987 on their own record label Börft. Almost 30 years later, FRAK continue to release their bizarre brand of Scandinavian techno with their debut release on Dark Entries. “Sudden Haircut” was recorded in 2015, a ten-minute brooding, heavy hitting acid attack full of 808 drum claps aimed at the dance floor. The three remaining songs come from a studio tape the band found in their archives named 'FRAK "After The Silence" 2001-2010' “Synthgök” and “Synthfrilla” were recorded in 2010 and originally released on the ‘Börft’ EP by Sex Tag Mania in 2012. Utilizing a 808, 303, 101 and MS-10, both are supreme cuts of electro leaning acid techno that perfectly fit the sweatiest moments of any club land experience. The deliciously rugged final track “First Glimt I Ögat” is a vintage unreleased Frak song from 2001 recorded one month before the track “Second Coming” (later released as B1 on ‘Börft’ EP). All songs have been mastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. Designer Eloise Leigh has created a playful DIY jacket based on a mysterious black and white photo of the band in their classic tin foil masks. Each copy comes with a black and white postcard featuring a distorted back stage photo of FRAK in their teens.

Following two EP releases on Delusions Of Grandeur the time felt right for thatmanmonkz to get working on his debut LP. The Sheffield b-boy is no newcomer to production having been releasing music since the mid-noughties but has seen a definite rise in interest the last few years following essential releases on his own Shadeleaf label as well as remixes and productions for the likes of Classic, Kolour LTD and Kon's StarTime.
With his first musical love being Hip Hop it's easy to understand how his approach to house turns out so refreshing. Inevitably MPC's, big, bold samples, Jay Dee inspired grooves and a raw, underproduced sound all play a big part and never one to shy away from an interesting collaboration he has enlisted the skills of several vocalists including Detroit MC Ta'raach (whose credits include Slum Village and Jill Scott), Erik Rico (collabs include Ron Trent and DJ Spinna), Khalil, Dave Aju, Pete Simpson (as A Brother Is...) and Malik Ameer.
Things kick off with a low-slung soul jam entitled Air featuring Kahil Anthony complete with sparkling Rhodes arps and a dub-wise bassline underpinning a beautifully lazy groove. Jus Anutha Wunna Deez follows with a rough and ready house jam that clearly doffs its cap to those old Sound Signature and Mahogoni Music releases we know and love so much. Next up we have Boogie Down with Erik Rico rocking some Parliament inspired vocal business bringing the feelgood vibes to this rolling P-Funker. Some Ol' Nex' Ish goes for a jazz samba meets house fusion whilst A Fly New Tune goes strictly old school with a classic combo of dusty break, filtered fusion rhodes n bass sample, movie dialogue snippets and a masterful flow delivered by Ta'raach. Dave Aju steps up next on Turn It Out laying down a unison vocal refrain to compliment the bumping disco groove complete with a call and response section for some singalong party participation!
As we continue, Another Night Under The Glitterball sees thatmanmonkz back in familiar territory with a rock solid, deep jazz-house jam. On I Can Hardly Breathe we're treated to a downtempo gospel-infused affair which leads us perfectly into the most bumpy club- friendly track of the LP For Bae. Moon On The Hill is a collaboration with Italian DJ Kali and his Raw Standard crew and treats us to some distinctly mid 90's Kruder and Dorfmeister vibes to zone out to before heading off in an altogether more bonkers, psychedelic dancehall direction on Vampires. Baked is another classy thatmanmonkz take on Hip Hop featuring Malik Ameer on the mic. Take U 2 My House sounds like something Prince might have made in the mid-80's if he'd just come off a 3 day bender at Panorama Bar. And closing the show in perfect style and fashion we have For Those I've Lost Along The Way which is a blunted yet beautifully optimistic number that has echoes of Lonnie Liston Smith and a brilliant spiritual vocal sample which provides the perfect closer to an amazing debut LP.

Monoton ‘Monotonprodukt 02’, also known as MP02, is the debut album of Austrian electronic maverick Konrad Becker. Out in 1980 it was a precursor of the minimal techno dub sound that was starting to be popular more than 15 years after. The album has been reissued by desire a couple of years ago and a new pressing is in the work. Anyway it’s time to launch a remix EP with new (and not so new) producers giving crédit to the work of the Austrian master. On the A side we find 3 new artists paying their dues : Sergie Rezza, whose debut album out on desire was critically acclaimed, Abdulla Rashim (Abdulla Rashim Records / Northern Electronics / Semantica) and also Opal Tapes’ boss Stephen Bishop own Basic House. The B-side is a great megamix of the album tracks by the one and only ambient/electronica veteran Scanner !

Omar Santis makes his debut on Karakul with the four track EP ‘A T.D.L.D Joint’. Karakul is a new label focusing on deeper House cuts from around the world. First up is Chilean born Stockholm dwelling Omar Santis. Omar first came to our attention through his records on the Woodsmen & Lady Log label, the first of which was a split 12” with Niklas Andersson which he then followed up with his own EP titled simply ‘W&LL003’ a few months later. Two fantastic records featuring his low slung, immersive House production that caught Karakul’s ears immediately. Omar tells us ‘A T.D.L.D Joint’ is an abbreviation of ‘Ta det lugnt daa’ meaning ‘Take it easy then yeah’ and on this 12” he certainly does, in the best possible way. It’s his most soulful record to date, building upon his detailed signature sound with perfectly placed vocals on ‘Stark Champagne’, melancholic Rhodes on ‘Lulu’s Jam’, tribal percussion and pads on ‘At The Shanzai Hotel’ and finally lowering the pace altogether for the emotional ender ‘Inward’.

For Those That Knoe is proud to present some of the freshest and timeless sounds the UK has to offer from Numonika, sounding as good now as they would have done when recorded ten years ago. Three tracks from the original demo CD have been selected, compiled, re-mastered and pressed by For Those That Knoe onto a special 12" for collectors and club DJs alike. In true Knoe fashion, release 4/1 is a compilation of tracks unearthed from a CD squirrelled away for a decade in a dusty loft. However, this was only one piece of a psychedelic puzzle, with the full ALPINE trilogy now getting the attention it deserves. Spiritually and texturally akin to ALPINE DAWN, ALPINE MORNING starts off with actual cowbells and looping synth pads, changing lanes several times and introducing a relaxed downbeat flavor mid-track. soooo here we are with the tenth and final release - thought it would be nice to finish on a nice zen like number - so this is a extra special release -kind of a mini LP almost - opened up by FX Mchn - Flush the Trush is an intro to the comp - and a reverse funk skittish affair - next up is new man on the block for us here - we been sitting on a collection of his tracks but felt this one complemented this EP the most - Ecco Foul - Gloss is a sleazy machine groove that doesn't do much but thats just the way we like it .then comes Mr Facade with his jerky funk - sweet surprises and warm melodies. the B side is opened by another newcomer from Running Back record - Hugh Mane - New age Dawns - whose track come s deep and wide open - has to be heard on the headphones as well as the club - Jamie Blanco's chord arrangments get opened up and spaced out by LHT office boy Toby Tobias in a detroitesque ditty thats been used to open a few sets in 2015 already and finally Alphonse delivers an out and out machine jam with the usual dub influence brought in vocal fashion.

Ostgut Ton reissues Vier of Zehn with original tracks by Nick Höppner and Virginia as well as Matthew Styles remixing Dinky. 2015 marked Ostgut Ton’s ten-year anniversary, celebrated with an extensive 30 track compilation release, titled Ostgut Ton | Zehn, spread out over ten 12“ vinyl records housed inside a limited box set. This sampler sold out in no time, which is why Ostgut Ton is re-issuing these ten 12"es individually in 2016. While Gregory Myrgiotis’ artwork may look as if it’s a rather dark record music-wise, the opposite is true: Zehn | Vier comes with three uplifting House tracks. While the CD version of Zehn features the original Dinky production, this 12“ comes with Matthew Styles’ seven-minute Dub mix, the most notable difference being the lack of vocals as well as Styles’ focus on synth pads and piano melodies – “Planes” takes a completely new route with this instrumental version. We all have our crosses to bear, and Nick Höppner carries a double pack: His percussion-heavy contribution is in the vein of his critically acclaimed album Folk (Ostgut Ton, 2015). A different tone and mood is being set by Virginia, whose soulful vocals correspond nicely with the Electro-influenced, percussive and dreamy vibe of “Never Underestimate” – which also serves as an outlook to her upcoming album, out on Ostgut Ton in Spring 2016.

Skam Records are very proud to release an album of unheard tracks from one of our very first artists and it feels good to have him back home. Jega has always provided his own slant on the genre, with warm standout melodies and his always edgy solid beats driving it all. Its good to hear his machines working again after all these years. Jega returns with a selection of the year before his seminal first release (Ska006). A collection of unreleased tracks from 1995, recorded live to Cassette Tape and DAT, and gathered 20 years later to form "1995". This album provides a glimpse into the fledgling electronic music scene of the 90's. Jega has released three albums on PLANET MU.

It's time for the third owner of Taapion records to make it on the spaceship. For the fifth release but mainly his first EP, AWB presents two original tracks both remixed by his brothers in arms. The artist, coming from the last viking part of France, stood on a bunch of tracks hidden in his comptuer's cavern waiting for the right and clever moment to release the beast. He first wanted to concentrate on the developpement and the DNA of Taapion, which is now famous for its intensive, deep and textured products. His musical influences streching from Jeff mills' techno to the ambient of Brian Eno drived him to be a movie soundtracks lover as well. He aims to produce his music like a movie director sets up the scenery. He decided thus to lead this musical project to something raw, emotionnal, effective, with a spatial atmosphere. AWB certainly feels confident enough now to reshape and polish some material, using the Taapion energy for the two original tracks of this Ep. A safety space travel into light waterfall, vaccum and organic junction. From the remixes side PVNV joined the aircraft same as Antigone who did a collaboration work with Shlomo.

We present the first of three 12's to celebrate our 10th anniversary. For the A side Detroit Swindle radically rework Sometimes into Not Another Sometimes, a killer raw analogue jam that demonstrates a real development of the DS sound. For the B1 we're buzzing to finally release an original track from Matthew Styles, who's been on remix duties 3 times over the years, with the infectious house of Off The Grid. Last and by no means least The Carter Bros give us Tempting Disco Fate, a rolling disco loop with the mother of all bassline changes at the end of the track. Look out for part two dropping in April featuring a Jimpster edit of Galcher Lustwerk, Fort Romeau remixing the first ever Tsuba release from Williams and a Tsuba debut from Roy Comanchero.

Unrelated is back with Black as night Ep by Vesàlio ( Kapvt Mvndi ) Side project of Livio Improta, Vesàlio was born from the necessity to change something in his way of producing. Less rhythm section and more emphasis on the atmosphere and field recordings, the last one the essential part of this project. A1 - In “N'At Alba" the concept of Vesàlio is pure,clear, and deep , where the atmosphere is the main character of the track. A2 - "Black as Night” probably is the conflict between the two artistical parts; dark and despondent sounds, in contrast with the rthythm of the drum section. The perfect sound for a science fiction movie, totally mysterious ! B - O.Xander (Nous Disques) decided to solve it bringing back the track into a classic raw theme with his Antartica Reshape
