The 13 track LP is a continuation of their analogue heavy and inventive synth style as showcased on their EP’s to date which have received support from the likes of Laurent Garnier & Chloe and covers plenty of musical ground with great aplomb. African influences, tin pot percussion and scorched synths all bring a real sense of savannah heat to proceedings on cuts like ‘Mami Wata’ and there is a sense of tribalism in the tightly programmed drums and claps of ‘Mayan Machine’ that really stands this one apart. Authentic and unique throughout, this is a brilliant LP that is hard to categorise but easy to love thanks to its constant evolution and wide sphere of sonic influences. More

Felix Dickinson and Jaime Read met in Brighton in 1995 when Jaime was producing music for Felix’s label Ugly Music. United by a love of Chicago house music they held a 5 yr residency together in their hometown Brighton. During this time Jaime continued to make music for Felix’s label as well as on his own label Push 2 Shove under the moniker LHAS (the Larry Heard Appreciation Society). They soon found homes for their tracks on Doc Martin’s Wax records, the Belgian label Eskimo and Felix’s new label Cynic Music. More recently they have released tracks for Tsuba and Rong as LHAS Inc. There is a remix by Neville Watson. You may know him for his work with Kink or his releases on Clone and Creme. More

None of the Above aka N/O/T/A is an escape from reality plan. Made in between London and Toronto, it joins Dinamo Azari (AZARI & III) and Mixhell's Laima Leyton and Iggor Cavalera (SEPULTURA). Eager to collaborate and make music in a non compromised way, the trio brought together live and electronic drum beats, strong bass lines, unexpected samples and dark synths to an unknown place. It is none of the genres we are listening to nowadays but it still brings together a live feeling of techno, industrial and acid. More
