Ellen Allien Keeps It Raw with the Third Release from Her UFO Label Ellen Allien returns with the third release from her label UFO. Focused on a raw aesthetic, UFO serves as a space for artists to explore the dark, rugged side of the music. On this third installment from the label we get three deliciously dark productions... First out of the block is 'La Musica Es Dios' (Music Is God), which comes in two mixes. The first works from the deep tremor of its juddering bassline, subtle beats tease this cut along with a contagious rhythm. As a master of vocal hooks, Ellen skillfully introduces a distorted clip that repeats over and over as the drama unfolds. Wistful pads and a sombre riff keep it melancholy. On the second mix the mood is a little more upbeat with brighter frequencies and skipping beats. Though, once the main body of the track comes in, a menacing swathe of analogue growls and snarls at you with aplomb. A breakdown tinged with 8-bit leads us into a rousing section of the track before another slight break ushers in more menace in the low end. Finally, 'Junge' penetrates our minds with its punchy drums and snares. The pace is quicker and more energi- sed with a pervading sense of dread emanating from the background. The Alientronic Remixes have landed! - Ellen Allien brings in a stellar line up of artists to put their own spin on tracks from her latest album ‘Alientronic’ for the first of several remix packages. Terence Fixmer and Introversion remix ‘Love Distortion’: Terence rocks out with a gnarly guitar riff and extra bold percussion, while Introversion injects a murky feel to his rework, adding a trance-inspired element to hypnotise the listener and take them to another dimension. Regal drops an ‘XTC Remix’ of ‘Electronic Joy’ with high-octane percussion and an enchanting retro feel. Lastly, there’s a special edit of ‘Love Distortion’ which offers a more restrained version of the killer original.

"Golden Stream" is second album of the 24-year-old artist, who lives in Vienna and Berlin - an amazing work. Rosa Anschütz plays piano, flute and trumpet, she worked a lot with modular synthesizers in the beginning of her career. Her musical awakening experience was the Atonal Festival in Berlin, later she also danced a lot at Berghain, and Berghain DJ Max Kobosil remixed her song "Rigid". Rosa Anschütz reinforces her enormously versatile vocals -ranging from a pleading breath to a cold New Wave speaking voice - with a relentlessly marching four-to-the-floor techno; but underneath it all, lay polyrhythmic deviations again and again. Clattering and trembling, deep basses digging into the ground, while shimmering veils of sound blow from above. Rosa Anschütz follows the traditions of Dark Wave and Postpunk, but carves deep notches of sound sculpture and romantic smoothness. A warm welcome to Italian-American producer Matasism, who debuts on BPitch with his four-track EP Can You Feel My Soul. Matasism launched his own label Ma¨ta¨sism in 2017, releasing exclusively via the platform until very recently. He lands on BPitch with an EP that channels the essence of freedom and liberty found in the rave.
