A Chicago's true hero, key architect of the genre, the Acid King. K-Alexi is one of house music's most prolific exponent in the world. He was already doing music way before records. He discovered house music in tender age at the Warehouse and the Music Box, where the blueprint of the sound was being laid down by the legendary Ron Hardy and Frankie Knuckles, very close friends and mentors. A tally of essential records, remixing and collaborations resulted in his talents being sought by artists like The Pet Shop Boys, Derrick May, Paul Johnson, Mr. Lee, Larry Heard and Robert Owens to name a few.

New label from the Chicago legend K-Alexi Shelby: DJ and producer. One of Chicago's true heroes and cited by many as a pioneer the city's sound with one of his earliest releases Essence Of A Dream being regarded a classic. At the age of 12 he was already moving in the right circles, befriending Frankie Knuckles and Ron Hardy whilst frequenting the famous Warehouse. His upbringing in Chicago in the 70s and 80s meant that he was exposed to a range of genres and different styles of music including Stevie Wonder, Prince, Curtis Mayfield and David Huff. These same names would prove to be the roots of his influences. This new label K Klassik is a platform to release new material, the first 12 Inch features remixes from Glen Underground and Germany's Ian Pooley. With a 2nd 12" to follow featuring remixes from Ron Trent & Joe Smooth. Pressed on Limited Edition Green Vinyl.

US house music producer, from Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
Born: 15 December 1965 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
Died: 28 January 2013 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA (aged 48).
Kelley was born to parents Ophelia Bakon and Herbert Kelley.
A lifelong resident of Boston, he was a graduate of Boston Latin High School
and the Museum of Fine Arts School.
As well as being an accomplished musician and fashion designer,
he worked as a technical support worker for a health care facility in Florida for six years until his death.

Ron Allen moved to Toronto in 1988 and became a pioneer of electronic music in Canada releasing his first record on Bigshot Records in 1989. Also a JUNO Nominated music producer, songwriter, and DJ. In 1991, Ron Allen and Hayden Andre formed legendary dance music label Strobe Records that was instrumental in developing the house and techno genres in the early 90’s.
