Beyond his DJ sets, he is well known for the quality music he has released on many respected labels such as Raum…Muzik, Visionquest, Infuse, Atipic, Telegraph, and his very own Savor music.

These 3 original tracks demonstrate perfectly the rich musical history and diversity of the Argentinean maestro.

Flanging hats and delicate 808 rim shots lead the way in opening tack ‘Hypsi’, whilst a tight sub line, dubbed out atmospherics and hypnotic female vocals further intensify the composition. A visceral bass then meanders through ‘Meoui’, intertwined with spectral chords and infectious synth lines, all formed within a crisp drum workout. Next up, glistening percussive hits and spiralling synths join forces with mesmeric effects and a subtle organic groove in the minimally inclined ‘Miamaia’ before Jorge then joins forces with fellow Argentinian Cape in the stripped back ‘Soulvor’. Utilising pulsating subs and shuffling rhythms to create a framework for dissipating samples, subdued harmonies and earworm sonics to roam within. More

Early September will see Jorge Savoretti release his ‘River Plate’ EP via Visionquest’s Special Edition imprint, comprising three original compositions from the Argentinian artist.
Having been involved in electronic music as a DJ for over two decades now Jorge Savoretti is firmly cemented as one of the Argentina’s finest electronic music exports, starting from his humble beginnings in Rosario he has gone on to release material with Esperanza, Claque Musique and igloo-rec as well as touring the globe throughout.
Here we see Jorge mark his debut for the Visionquest Special Edition imprint with a new three- tracker and taking the lead is title track ‘River Plate’, radiantly showcasing Savoretti’s dub-infused percussive led style with choppy swinging drums, ethereal pad swells a snaking sub groove and dub chords which ebb and flow throughout.
Following is ‘Parana High’ which takes a more refined, low-slung approach via soft chord flutters, bright stab sequences and bumpy sub hits while a shuffled percussive drive further fuels the groove. Last up to complete the package is ‘U-Fonk’ which delves into darker territories with mind- bending glitch synths, robust rhythms and a vacillating bass lead running throughout its six minute duration. Jorge Savoretti delivers an array of intuitive cuts in his debut album ‘Triskelion’ this summer, the first album to land on his vinyl label Savor Music. Born and raised in Argentina, Savoretti began DJing at a young age and quickly picked up an accomplished residency at El So´tano as a teenager. Before long Savoretti got involved in the studio, dropping his debut release ‘Frozen’ on Argentine label Igloo to inaugurate a discography now boasting Oslo, Drumma, Esperanza, Lawler’s VIVa Music and Hawtin’s M- nus. 2011 saw him launch Savor Music, a vinyl imprint that has so far hosted the likes of Felipe Valenzuela, Martinez, Franco Cinelli as well as fellow founder Cape. “Triskelion is an album composed of different musical landscapes based on diverse influences that I have had since first listening to underground house/techno in Argentina in the 90s” says Savoretti on the album. “It's what I've experienced throughout my 'techno' history reflected in the present and also a new starting point of what's coming up in the future - European/American influences touched by Latin feelings.” These eclectic landscapes are vivid from the off as Savoretti instigates his album with a downtempo cut named ‘Minigang Love’ before following a dubby direction in ‘Chrystalis’. He then injects purring basslines and a dose of rhythm in the likes of ‘Jardin Av’ and ‘Lovejack’ until spectral synths and heady grooves appear in ‘Souljack’ and ‘Silb Ando’. ‘Cuban Dreams’ focuses on a stripped back approach with its subtle rimshot and tantalising hook, before ethereal house appears in the form of ‘Revolution’ to later be joined by an innovative display of synths in ‘Simple Acid’. Atmospherics and otherworldly pads are the focal point in ‘Song For Konamita’, whilst title track ‘Triskelion’ saunters along gently, until ‘Aurora Borealis’ concludes the album with a cinematic crescendo.

ordan Peak's fledgling Rogue Society imprint hits it's second release in February with 'Super Flavor'/'Bassuka' from Jorge Savoretti featuring remixes from John Daly and Dan Curtin. Rogue Society kicked off late 2013 with a release from Peak which garnered support from Ryan Elliott, Kirk Degiorgio, Norm Talley, Radio Slave and Neville Watson and the London-based artist has recently continued his run of form with an outstanding release for D'Julz's Bass Culture imprint. For RS002 Peak hands the reins to Argentinian producer Jorge Savoretti, a producer adept at turning in infectious house for the likes of Esperanza and Hometown, who delivers two original cuts. ‘Super Flavor' is vintage Savoretti - employing a simple tight groove and filtered vocal to significant rolling effect while 'Bassuka' is a more manic, technoid cut which rolls atop a rich Juno bassline.
Ireland's John Daly, no stranger to quality imprints himself, drops a rousing stab driven version of 'Super Flavor' which is unadulterated throw down, floor shaking deep house in the true meaning of the word. Dan Curtin, a label-mate of Peak on Bass Culture, delivers the remix of 'Bassuka' and takes it down a stringladen, classic house path like only he can. Showing off his experience and innate understanding of balance in production, Curtin's version is a master class in emotive restraint. Curtin returns for the digital exclusive 'Chord Ambush' remix of 'Bassuka' which revels in loose, tribal rhythms and an acid bassline.

Together the duo paint a brilliant display of sound as they intuitively merge minimal, funk, techno and house to create two stunning originals. Our vinyl release is lead by the raw, jacking' groove of 'Hat Swing', before we are plunged deeper it the hypnotic expanse of the aptly titled 'Spaced Out'. Kastil takes the A-side with the title track "Paraside," a classic deep house Chicago jam that exudes style, while "17th Street" has the same deep US flavour but with more drive and purpose. On the flip, Mr. Cinelli creates a trippy and subtle reinterpretation of "17th Street" but still retains the bouncy flavor in a way he only knows how to do it. Watch out for those snares.

Savor Music’s second 12” release follows a rockin’ record by Papol and Ekkohaus. We are proud to present today some raw future classics that will quite simply tear the floor into pieces. Lucas Mari is a hard to catch butterfly that spreads his subtle wings on few carefully selected projects. A resident of the city of Rosario in Argentina, Lucas Mari appeared occasionally on the very fine Argentine label Greener, German imprint Stock 5 and on US labels Adjunct and Airdrop. In true early ‘90s Chicago fashion, the two original cuts feature some serious drum machine action, building a sturdy way to allow for some exquisite chord relief to flourish. Gez Varley, absolutely stunned by listening to the originals, decided to contribute to the release with a simple and hypnotic remix that only he, the one and only G-Man has the recipe for. Also not to be missed is Savor’s digital series, which features DJ tools by Papol and labelheads Cape and Jorge Savoretti…

Originating from Argentina, Savor Music is a multi-cultural project that aims at bringing out our favorites 'flavors' in sound. The leading forces behind the project are Cape and Jorge Savoretti, both natives of the city of Rosario. Savor Music kicks off underlining the Madrilenian connection, so dear to us. It is represented here by our great friend Papol of the Esperanza crew. Developing his sound release after release, he allowed us to pick through his best tracks in order to inaugurate our 12" vinyl series. On the A side, first up is 'Before Tea', a strong driving bomb with a crossover appeal. A2, Ekkohaus delivers a surprising broken beat take of 'Dub 2010'. You will find the original version of the latter and a second Ekkohaus remix as bonus mixes, only on the digital release - both deeper than deep... Drop the needle on the flip: 'Prom', the monster slowly crawls out, taking over any floor, setting the place off on a peak of acid fire! Please handle with care... To finish things off smoothly, 'Windface' will take you on a pleasant cloud-walking journey with its warm synths. A true DJ's delight of a record... Enjoy our flavors!
