Sales Note
Occult Vision; a new LP based imprint, offers a space for artists to share a more complete body of their work. We create windows into the deeper, alternative and often more authentic sounds of carefully selected artists. It's rare a producer in the underground house and techno scene has this type of platform and Occult Vision aims to fill the void. Our first album is from one of Frankfurt's finest producers, Frank Heinrich. Known to most as Reboot and sharing what will be his first solo LP since 2016, we have here an intricately crafted collection of music that was brought to life during the lockdown phase of the pandemic. This unique time had a resounding impact on Franks creativity in the studio, leading to a sound that strongly represents his emotions throughout that period. The tracks we have helped to curate for this release are often melancholic, yet hopeful with carefully placed textures and rhythms carrying a stripped back yet emotive energy throughout. This isn't your typical club music; it's more personal and meant as a listening experience. "On A Grind" presents the harshness and rawness of that period for so many of us and whilst you will hear Reboots style weaved into these tracks, Frank hopes that you will feel the passion and emotions put into this record accompanying you in your own moments of reflection.

Tracklist:
A1 Reboot - Are You Loosing My Mind (Vinyl Version)
A2 Reboot- Are You Loosing My Mind (Ricardo Villalobos Hauswiedermischung)
B Reboot- Are You Loosing My Mind (Ricardo Villalobos Losing My Miles Remix)
Short info:
Reboot takes another slice from his recent album 'Alive' out for a walk. This time it's 'Are You Losing My Mind?'. First we're treated to the vinyl version full of everything we loved from the original. A stripped down tech house beat sprinkled with a might vocal hymn and plenty of groove. Then Ricardo takes over the track with his own very particular style. He's made two distinct versions, 'Hauswiedermischung' is first. As he's known to do, Villalobos created a kind of chaos in which the track lives without ever losing the groove and with plenty of little surprises to discover throughout. Next is Ricardo's twenty four minute 'Losing my Miles' remix, and here is where he really loosens the grip on the track and lets it wander in and out of coherence, taking it and us along for a special ride that only Ricardo can deliver. From beginning to end, you don't know what to expect but you know it when it comes. Get it, press play, and lose your mind.

DEEP VIBES RECORDINGS returns to the fore with none other than notorious Frank Heinrich aka REBOOT, purveyor of masterfully crafted rhythm etudes and a highly respected member of Frankfurt's vibrant house scene. With DEEP_V, the Offenbach-bred producer brings his seething second album to Sascha Dive's imprint, bursting at the seams with intricate percussive bliss and nimble-footed grooves for the enthused dancer. The Reboot project certainly hasn't lost his flair for fine-grained, impressively bendy tracks since the very first full-length offering "Shunyata" on Luciano's legendary Cadenza outlet, presenting a new set of underground cuts deeply ingrained in dance music's rich history of kinetic hypnotism. Honed to perfection, opening jam TORTOISE sets the tone with a pleasantly relaxed jog in the company of seemingly scattered drum fragments, nevertheless revealing a deliberate focus and polymorphic confidence at every turn. Following microbangers HARSH TIME FOR KIDS and CHE MELONI occupy themselves with slowly raising the stakes, growing bolder with each sequence and populating the dance floor with snazzy moves. The build-up leads to neotribal workout BANGING EAR DRUMS captivating the senses with a fine assortment of airy samples and driving drum patterns. Together with CD bonus tracks TANTRIC BEHAVIOURS and HOW PROVINCE SAVED THE FUNK - both every bit as oscillatory as their vinyl relatives -, this makes for a rather complete package from an artist who already excels at the art of living, breathing beats, but keeps on getting better before our very ears.
Vital Sales Points:
- Second Album by Reboot aka Frank Heinrich
- Releases on Cadenza, Below, Defected, La Pena, Oslo
- Extensive Global Promo + Tour

Reboot, - Beautiful Parasite
Beginning his relationship with Cadenza back in 2008, German production wizard Reboot has since frequented the label, his solid tech house soundscapes and innate ability to keep his musical structure moving forward being catalyst to his reputable name. Following the incredible 'Shunyata' album on Cadenza in 2010, Reboot is back on the imprint with the 'Beautiful Parasite' EP, including two remixes from Robert Dietz and Cesar Merveille.
Intense and suitably finickety, Reboot's 'Beautiful Parasite' plays with glitches, sparks and tight wooden percussion patterns to begin. On first glance, it's almost minimal in its confined touches but as a rumbling line of dark bass takes hold, "Beautiful Parasite" switches its identity and takes on a sultry persona. From there the changes come thick and fast with faint strings soaring gently in the background and sporadic cymbal crashes and hand claps creating texture. Reaching its dreamy edge with a warm and melodic mainline, the once stern atmosphere of "Beautiful Parasite" is coated in thick echo, doubled in depth and encased in melody.
First Cadenza comrade to take remix duty is Frankfurt's Robert Dietz. Taking his tribal and percussion heavy signature, Dietz warps "Beautiful Parasite" into a dance killer, enhancing the percussive flow of the original and integrating a rapid bass line that simply can't fail to move. Chopping the melody into stabbing sequences and morphing the bass into an arp'd, electro tinged bomb; "Beautiful Parasite" finds its feet firmly on the dance floor through Robert Dietz's remix. Cesar Merveille shifts the gear up another notch with a gloriously rapid attack for his remix. Chaotic percussion and crunching samples smeared across "Beautiful Parasite's" balmy palette, Cesar injects an exotic and slinky edge.
Lastly, as a digital only bonus, "In The Sky" closes 'Beautiful Parasite' on a fresh note. Introduced with a vocal swoon fit for a diva, "In The Sky" breaks into a contradictory concoction of voltaic beats thereafter. Hissing shakers, plentiful claps and a rubbery bass line collide as the atmosphere moves up and down between subtle builds and breaks. Securing its groove with the epic 'Your Loving Arms' lyrics, "In The Sky" will no doubt cause an elated stomp on dance floors worldwide.

Reboot, - Schalswerg
In just three years, since his first EP's under the Reboot moniker appeared on Cadenza and Below, he's become one of electronic music's hottest properties, releasing not only a slew of singles for labels likeCocoon, Love Letters from Oslo, Ricardo Villalobos' Sei Es Drum and underground cult fave Motivbank, but also a pair of high-profile mix CDs for Cocoon and Cécille. His live sets and DJ sessions have takenhim around the world and then some, several times, playing everywhere from mammoth festival stages tothe thatched-roof booth at Ibiza's Ushuaïa."Shunyata describes my way of life pretty well," affirms Heinrich, who just last year left his full-time day jobto focus on music. Shunyata might be seen as a response to all that flux. Heinrich took his time with the
record, working on musical ideas that extend beyond the limits of a given track. From the sound designs to the grooves to the way the tracks evolve, they all interconnect; intricate polyrhythms wind through the
music like ivy, binding the album together. It's those rhythms you're likely to notice first: dazzling arrays of congas, bells, cymbals, shakers, woodblocks; sounds that sound like tuned water-drops or aluminum barrels; steely drum machines slicingthe air like knives. But behind the layers of percussion there are stranger, shadowier elements at work:chimes, pings, electronic gurgles, scraps of faraway voices, field recordings, and beneath it all, a spongy, squishy bed of bass, comforting and all-encompassing. Shunyata is very much an album: its long, undulating lines and morphological structures reward deep, repeated listening. Great!

From the crowd on the dancefloor to the weight of the bass, it's all about fullness, volume, density.Reboot turns that opposition on its head with his debut album, Shunyata. The title comes from Buddhism and translates loosely as "emptiness." But not just in the negative sense: it speaks also to impermanence, a state of constant flux. It's a great description of Reboot's music, where everything is in constant and kaleidoscopic motion. And it's also a fitting metaphor for the life of the Frankfurt-based musician, aka Frank Heinrich. In just three years, since his first EP's under the Reboot moniker appeared on Cadenza and Below, he's become one of electronic music's hottest properties, releasing not only a slew of singles for labels like Cocoon, Love Letters from Oslo, Ricardo Villalobos' Sei Es Drum and underground cult fave Motivbank, but also a pair of high-profile mix CDs for Cocoon and Cécille. His live sets and DJ sessions have taken him around the world and then some, several times, playing everywhere from mammoth festival stages to the thatched-roof booth at Ibiza's Ushuaïa. (One look at Reboot's booking schedule, and you can forget about any concept of "emptiness.") "Shunyata describes my way of life pretty well," affirms Heinrich, who just last year left his full-time day job to focus on music. Shunyata might be seen as a response to all that flux. Heinrich took his time with the record, working on musical ideas that extend beyond the limits of a given track. From the sound designs to the grooves to the way the tracks evolve, they all interconnect; intricate polyrhythms wind through the music like ivy, binding the album together.

Reboot, - Rambon
2
Reboot, - Uruana
Six years since its founding, Cadenza passes a significant milestone with catalog number 50.And who better to preside over the ceremonies than Reboot, fresh from his album Shunyata and showing no signs of slowing down. Resident Advisor recently named Reboot "one of the most celebrated live acts in all electronic music," and even if you've never seen him, "Rambon" shows plenty of evidence why. The track (which also appears on Shunyata) served as the triumphant closing passage of his BBC Essential Mix back in December, and now, finally, it's here in its full glory.
What's immediately striking about the track is that it doesn't sound like a studio concoction. It has all the spontaneity and dynamics of a storming live performance. It's crafted with a DJ in mind, with one of Reboot's perfect grooves assembling itself almost magically, with every percussive line snapping into place like magnets on metal. But for all the naturalism of the rhythm, there's a powerful sense of strangeness, a kind of ambient undertow, as sounds from the real world (the clatter of dishes, a pitched-down murmur, distant strains of radio) seep in and color the background. The track picks up steam with a succession of tightly looped vocals and subtle percussive buildups; it feels less like a composition than a DJ mix, really, the kind where the parts combine to create something far greater than their sum. And out of that emerges a melody—
not your typical four-bar riff, but a long, unspooling ribbon, a meandering river, a hypnotic lullabye. It is, in a world, spellbinding. For the B-side, Luciano remixes "Uruana," the album's undulating opening cut. Extending the six-minute sketch to 10 minutes and reinforcing its structure, Luciano's mix feels almost like an edit. Of the original song's burbling synthesizers and fluid, rolling drum patterns, he's actually changed very little. But where Reboot's track is slow to build, as though emerging from a heavy mist, Luciano's mix gets right down to business. It begins with a new melody line, one clearly inspired by the original (but at the same time so very Lucianesco), a cautious itter-pat, and foggy, Basic Channel-caliber chords; when the kick drum hits, it's on. For a little over 10 minutes, Luciano extends the vibe, chasing a feeling you can't quite put you finger on, across rippling percussion and bright arpeggios. Like a sparkling mimosa, it's perfectly suited for morning.

Reboot, - Mirasierra
2
Reboot, - Ronson
It is a well-known fact that tracks by Reboot have been
playing an outstanding role in last year's Cocoon Season.
After all, the 30 year old Frankfurt-based producer Frank
Heinrich already did run riot together with Johnny D., within
a sort-of live jam session on the "Disco Invaders" Cocoon
Ibiza Summer Mix CD. So, it is even more surprising that
the first Reboot 12" on Cocoon is released only now, after
releases on Below and Cadenza. With its tribalistic touch,
"Ronson" is rapidly making clear where the journey will
lead to: with alarm sirens and discharges of compressed
air, Heinrich appears uncompromisingly energetic like
never before, but stays maximally pumping and always
sexy. Somehow more observant, the polyrhythmic and
percussive "Mirasierra" gives the tired dancers a short
break, even if the dub-ornamented bass line sometimes
creates quite discoid moments of luck. By all means, those
two tracks are very suitable for what seem to be the
tropical moments within cold winter nights.

Cadenza Records introduces another new signing to the label: Reboot, aka Frank Heinrich. After releasing tracks for Combi.int and i220 with his former partner Delle in the duo Delle-Heinrich, the 30-year-old Frankfurt musician takes a dramatic step forward as Reboot, an alias dedicated to grooves both darkly emphatic and dazzlingly polyrhythmic. Launched only a year ago, Heinrich's Reboot project is so far responsible for the well-received "Charlotte" for Frankfurt's Below label as well as a recent remix for Greek duo Lemos & Kreon, on Be-Chosen. Where "Charlotte" was suffused with sweetness and light and tentative time-keeping, Reboot's debut EP for Cadenza Records is considerably darker.

TRACKLIST 12” Vinyl
A - DJ Koze - Buschtaxi (Extended Version) 08:37
AA - DJ Koze feat. Marley Waters - Brushcutter 05:19
Info:
A-Side: Buschtaxi (Extended Version) - DJ Koze
Like an unleashed Tarzan, crashing through the skull directly into consciousness with his vine, Koze with Buschtaxi tears through the jungle.
With his unique recipe of psychedelic madness and spiritual potency, he picks up all the lost rave souls and drives them to a place no one knew existed.
Buschtaxi hits differently.
AA-Side: Brushcutter – DJ Koze feat. Marley Waters
A track like a displacement activity.
A deranged DJ Koze with a spinning brush cutter, alone in the desert – nothing to cut, just pure, unleashed power. The fight against nothingness.
Brushcutter isn’t music; it’s a trail burned straight through your consciousness.
It cuts deeper. Harder. Until the bigger picture comes into view again.

Limited Edition Double Vinyl
Pressed on bio-viny and packaged in environmental wrapping
ABOUT
In celebration of its 30th anniversary, Plastikman, aka Richie Hawtin, has remastered his groundbreaking second album, Musik, from the original tapes for a new limited bio-vinyl edition.
The record was first released in November 1994 through NovaMute and Plus 8, following the debut Plastikman album, Sheet One (1993). A masterclass in minimal techno, Musik quickly propelled Hawtin to new levels of success. The release followed Plastikman's first-ever live performance in a black vinyl-encased room at a semi-derelict Packard Plant in Detroit, where Hawtin was central to the burgeoning underground scene.
Before the full album hit the shelves, the track 'Plastique' (which was later described by Q as "...the flipside to Hawtin's early singles, all ticking percussion, feline acid tweaks, and cushioned sub-bass") set the stage for a more dance floor-friendly album, albeit one with an unsettling and sinister side.
The album, described by The Guardian as "music as you've never heard it before" and by The Wire, who made it one of their Albums of the Year, as "... a masterpiece", defined a moment in techno that still echoes today.
Now, 30 years later, the album has been remastered from the original tapes, reminding us why Plastikman is a name that still resonates and that the album's intensity - on and off the dance floor - has lost none of its potency in the intervening years.
Available on limited edition double bio-vinyl from Mute and NovaMute.

Flora is an album that is listened to perpetually,
Passed on from one listener to another,
And the charm of the sound- and music-loving figure
known as Hiroshi Yoshimura,
Just might come drifting through.
Like the scent of a small flower.
—Junichi Konuma
Announcing the worldwide reissue of Flora, Hiroshi Yoshimura’s underrated work originally recorded and completed in 1987 and first released on CD in 2006, three years after his passing in 2003.
Flora is chronologically and stylistically a follow-up to Hiroshi Yoshimura’s acclaimed 1986 works Green and Surround, wherein Yoshimura continues to play with the ambience of sound and the sound of ambience, underscoring his mastery in the field of environmental music. Listening to Flora is like taking a stroll in a park, absorbing the colors and textures of the natural environment—flowers, insects, the swaying of the leaves—as Yoshimura often did at his beloved Edo-era park near his home in Tokyo. As Junichi Konuma describes in his liner notes, Yoshimura’s music “only begins to emerge as it exists at the intersection of passive and active.” Yoshimura's approach to sound and melody invites the listener to hear the intricacies of the music with intent, while simultaneously allowing the aural textures to exist as part of the background of our everyday life.
This reissue marks the first time the album will be available on vinyl (2LP, 45 rpm) and cassette, and includes liner notes written by music scholar Junichi Konuma and remastered audio by Grammy-nominated engineer John Baldwin. Reissue design and layout was handled by Tiffanie Tran.

Flora is an album that is listened to perpetually,
Passed on from one listener to another,
And the charm of the sound- and music-loving figure
known as Hiroshi Yoshimura,
Just might come drifting through.
Like the scent of a small flower.
—Junichi Konuma

Short info:
Speckman D.J. & Producer hailing from Hamburg. Co-founder of the tastemaking partyseries Dreamteam and resident at the legendary Golden Pudel Club is finally presenting his new Album titled „NOISEMAKER“ on Public Possession. His eclectic style as a D.J. is perfectly represented in the Music on this record, sitting comfortably between techhouse, indie, new rave and electronica it could probably be best described as a pretty epic take on electroclash in a fully updated, reloaded 2025 version. Fu**in seriously, unserious party music with a nod to the past yet fully in the present. The mellow, deeper episodes are the topping on the bright, pink cake. Speckman is going to jump out of it and right at you. Find him soon in a D.J. booth close to you, no matter if he is supporting „The Dare“ on his EU Tour or holding controls at the Golden Pudel Club. It’s going to be wild and full of surprises.

Damian Lazarus uncovers ‘SPIRITS VII’, the seventh chapter of Crosstown Rebels’ visionary annual compilation series. The eight-track package sees the Crosstown Rebels founder curate another stellar lineup of emerging and established talent for the latest instalment of the ongoing highly acclaimed series.Since its debut in 2017, Damian Lazarus’ SPIRITS series has become a de?nitive platform for rising stars and established talent pushing cutting-edge sounds, consistently setting the tone for the year ahead. With the release of ‘SPIRITS VII’ this February, Crosstown Rebels continues its tradition of curating groundbreaking talent, delivering an impressive collection of tracks from both new and returning names. Building on the momentum of previous volumes, the eight-tracker o?ers an expertly crafted selection of deep grooves, hypnotic rhythms, and forward-thinking productions - providing a glimpse into the future of house and techno while staying true to the genre’s roots.Opening the release, US-based duo Lisbona Sisters present ‘OK GURL’, a trippy and warping track with their original vocals that sets an otherworldly tone. Next, Netherlands-based SHARE follows releases on Mobilee and Abracadabra with ‘Oh Please…’, an acid-led cut with hooky vocals from Def E? that leave a lasting impression. Next, Bona?que, part of the Maccabi House family, infuse ‘Desperadio’ with signature Middle Eastern in?uences and organic, rhythmic drums, while Dino Lenny delivers ‘I Have Sampled Father’, a playful yet o?-kilter cut loaded with a kaleidoscope of diverse elements balanced by captivating grooves. The journey continues with Upercent’s ‘Where Are You’, a dynamic composition characterised by soaring synths, sharp drums, and heavy bass licks. Collaborating on ‘Le Tourbillon’, Timo Maas & Inámo craft a hypnotic blend of grooves and sweeping melodies, perfect for late-hour moments. Recorded in his Ibiza studio, John Monkman energises the collection with ‘Colours’, a track brimming with intricate synth work, standout vocals, and dynamic sound design, before Enamour closes with ‘Jackpot’, a dreamy and hazy masterpiece featuring colourful sonics and enchanting soundscapes. With its distinct ability to uncover hidden gems and elevate them to global recognition, Crosstown Rebels remains a leading force, and this latest edition of SPIRITS proves precisely why it remains at the forefront of the global electronic scene as one of its most vital imprints.
