A personal 10-track long player balancing IDM, indie pop and techno, which was written in and about a period of life where heartbreak and threats reinforced each other, creating an inescapable loop of isolation. Attempting to regain confidence and hope, a process of dreaming up a fictive emotional escape emerged. Paintings, sketches, voice notes, and a first few synth-lines took shape--laying the groundwork for this very album. In the tail of the storm, the London-born, Amsterdam-based producer and DJ refined her ideas further in places that carried hopeful memories. Places that felt familiar. Revisiting studios in beloved locations from the past --in London and Paris-- and seeking for the new --in studios and the Westcoast waters of L.A.-- all helped to shape those purest ideas into full songs forming a story that demanded closure. Lenxi's debut album is a stunning sequence of dreams hinting at hope combined with nostalgia--built on a strong force battling the vulnerability of being alone--and ultimately finding a way out and onto the dance-floor. Oddball indie-pop band Meetsysteem returns this spring with their long-awaited third studio album; their most beautiful one yet. What began as a search for a simple solo-record, a warm sound and a feeling reminiscent of their debut release, Geen Signaal, evolved into something far greater. In an attempt to rediscover that feeling, the writing began in the same spaces in Thailand where Geen Signaal was produced. It was there, on the other side of the globe, where a familiar face would become the source of inspiration. The Moon, floating in the vast endlessness of space was the guiding artistic force. Reconnecting Meetsysteem with their remarkable lyrical poetry, ambiguous messages combined with a subtle hidden darkness. Meetsystem regained their rare ability to create a vacuum to float in, just like the moon looming above us. The journey ignited a curiosity to question what forces act upon us keeping us in place and what is really on the other side? Along the way answers were found together with the people who crossed paths with Meetsysteem; like-minded artists who were simultaneously grappling with the same questions. Through their collective reflections this "would be" solo record turned into a powerhouse of musical collaboration. With poetry by Pelumi Adejumo, existential outcries by punk-activist Sophie Straat, metaphysical lyrics by Lewsberg's Arie van Vliet, weighted vocals by Ranie Ribeiro and Nana Adjoa, a meeting with Giant Julie and a wealth of extra hidden features, from voice memos to trumpet solos: the album became a collage of life--making it the freest, darkest, and most complete Meetsysteem album to date.

Calling Mattheis a pillar of Nous'klaer Audio would be an understatement. Founded in 2013, the label was at the time solely created to put out Mattheis' Isms EP. Now, twelve years on, we present his latest album: Waiting for the Silhouette. The forty minute LP full of dreamy techno bliss explorations starts out, and is glued throughout, with ethereal modulating synths. Dreamscapes fuse into scattered drums and shifting patterns briefly usher in changing phases. It's in these moments when the unworldly contours take form and are built upon by other emerging elements. Waiting for the silhouette is a record about things coming to life, outlines that start to appear and shapes evoking memories that could as well be premonitions. Straight from the bustling scene of Brussels comes Nous'klaer Audio's latest signing: an effervescent debut album by the young Belgian-Japanese producer, live-performer, pianist and DJ Gaiko. Gaiko (real name Kaito) bursts onto the scene with a nine-track full-length album that highlights the rich and diverse output of this emerging talent. His first offering spans left-field electronics, IDM and DnB, blending intricate drum-programming with lush synths and contemporary, contrasting piano pieces. Nous'klaer Audio proudly presents Nicola Cruz's latest full-length album, Kinesia. On his third studio album, the Ecuadorian producer masterfully blends rich studio sessions with deep analog synthesis. Kinesia invites the listener to channel an inner voice - to pick up thoughts, words, and messages as if ancient information traveling through time has been received. This album functions as a form of 'antenna,' translating these ideas into compositions and movement. The album begins with a 5/4 rhythm structure, summoning the voice of machina into a textural atmosphere, led by Perma, Nicola's vision of an infinite breaks vortex, and sustains the tension with the meditative Telepathine, a substance fictionally associated with telepathy. Regardless of the tempo, each track is intricately laced with chants, subtle percussion, textures, and spacious details that draw you back for more. Calm's superb Before album is the gift that keeps on giving as Hell Yeah serves up a collection of the best remixes from it. Willie Graff, Gallo and Aura Safari all step up on a fresh 12" that lands this summer.

Before arrived on double vinyl in 2022 after a CD-only release in Japan in 2021. Since then it has become a Balearic mainstay and go-to record for lovers of lavish downtempo sounds. Now, remixes of three tracks from it all appear on this one record with Ibirican-American Willie Graff going first. He is a deep house don who has held several key residencies around the world while dropping his sublime sounds on the likes of Leng, Music For Dreams and many more. His remix of 'I Love You' is a gloriously horizontal one with blissful piano keys rippling over the bubbly drums and bass. Yearning reed melodies add an emotional romantic edge to make this a standout in any setting. Then comes Gallo, the Balearic Gabba Sound System member and resident at Berlin Balearic nightspot Buena Onda. His 'Tropical Hinterhof' remix of 'I Love You' is expertly exotic and soothing as mellifluous keys rain down over a groove as smooth as silk. It's a heart-achingly beautiful sound that will make for truly special moments on the dance floor.

Italian collective Aura Safari then offers two different remixes. They are master musicians who have served up a superb double album Islands Dreams here in late 2023 where they showcased their escapist blend of dub, jazz, Afro-cosmic, Balearica and boogie. First up, 'Feel It' (Aura Safari Desert mix) is six minutes of oriental melody over loose drums. There's a playful feel to the dancing piano keys and richness in the percussion that makes this one a sophisticated sound for both early evening warm-ups or moments of late-night reflection. 'Kunpoo' (Aura Safari Daydream mix) has a nineties feel with its gentle breaks, hypnotic string loops, and sustained chords. They break over you in gentle rays of earth and euphoria to ensure utterly blissed-out results.

These four versions all bring sophisticated dance floor energy to the timeless originals.

Theme Ltd presents two new releases from resident artist GAIKA
, https://www.somersethouse.org.uk/residents/gaika also featuring THE NARRATOR and Liu. The two tracks circle between various influences and bear a bright flash of versatility from the artist and his collaborators. ‘Racing Gloves’ is underscored by THE NARRATOR’s melodious, delicately discordant passages. It’s then supplemented by GAIKA’s visceral, close-to-home rap style and calculated production. This textural balance, the two voices in tandem, makes for a perfect synchronicity. Not sure which voice to listen to? Pick up the gloves and go for a drive.

’S Composites’ featuring Liu, guides the listener between the gentle throes of multilingualism. It’s a unique mix of ethereal melodies supported by a classic RnB beat, enriched by a soft, swelling droning that seems to mimic breathing. As the track inflates and deflates, we’re carried by Liu’s honeyed vocals to her countdown, and the track’s final minute-long ‘breath’.

The "When They Fall EP" showcases three original tracks alongside an exceptional remix by SYXT/Glukkon Records boss, Ketch. A long-standing and respected figure within the lively Los Angeles music scene, Stephen's signature stripped-back and pulsating sound takes center stage right from the outset. This EP further solidifies the burgeoning label's reputation as a distinguished hub for top-tier techno.

Starting things off is "Filling The Void", a moody and otherworldly track with a rolling groove and sharp percussion. The echoing, almost chant-like pads wrap you in a mysterious atmosphere, creating a sense of curiosity and anticipation.

The title track, "When They Fall", takes a more lively direction, driven by rhythmic percussion and spacey blips, along with a swelling bassline that adds extra depth and movement.

The B side of the EP features Ketch's remix of "Sixth Sense", where urgent percussive elements blend over a steady low-end foundation, guided by a strong kick drum that pushes the track forward with unwavering determination.
