Ilario Liburni, known for his work on the labels Cardinal and Invade with artists like Villalobos, Thomas Melchior, and Valentino Kanzyani, has just released a brand-new project together with Izaakson, the man behind Memoria Music Group. This is their debut EP after working together in the studio.

"Operator," a straightforward track with gritty kicks and snares meeting harsh chords and melodies, is the ideal way to open this EP.

Another club anthem with slamming beats, resonant chords, and captivating vocals is "Get Around."

Dino Lenny is an Italian electronic music producer based in London. He is the founder of Frenetica and Fine Human
Records. He gains notoriety remixing Underworld, INXS, Missy Elliot, Timbaland and collaborating with everyone from Scissor Sisters to WuTang Clan and Madonna. From 2014 onwards he’s been enjoying successful releases on labels like Ellum, Innervisions, Crosstown Rebels, Afterlife, Bedrock, Diynamic and many others. In 2015 Dino signs a string of three consecutive EPs (“It’s Saturday”, “Living In A Song” & the anthem “This Is A Love Song”) on Ellum. Dino’s remix with Seth Troxler of “The Magic Room” is released on Seth's label (Play It Say It) while at the same time his track “A Certain Distance” is released on Innervisions, along with a great rework from label boss Dixon himself. Over the last years Dino and ARTBAT have coproduced acclaimed EPs on Solomun's Diynamic & Tale Of Us’ Afterlife. His track “Keep Changing Basslines” has been included on Sven Väth's iconic Cocoon annual compilation. He has also started a collaboration with John Digweed's Bedrock label and released for Rampa's new imprint. Since January 2021 Dino has been successfully hosting the “Core” radio show with guests like Sven Väth, Adam Beyer, Adriatique & Joris Voorn. Core is Tomorrowland's alternative stage for Electronic Music. Dino has a strong connection with Core having been featured on that very same stage since the early days. Dino lands now on Memento Records with a beautiful two- tracker featuring the original “Hold Me” and its Dub version as the b-side. “Hold Me” sees Dino team up with Argentinian singer/songwriter Polina Grace for a deep and atmospheric piece: her multi-toned sophisticated singing matches late 80s dreamy synth melodies, with an infectious bassline and subtle percussions creating a soulful groove, making this the perfect soundtrack to a Balearic sunset. The Dub version strips down the track to a more essential sound while retaining all the magic of the original. More

The mercurial talent that is SW. back in the building with a new album, and if it weren’t already apparent, OYSTER45 goes some way to assert his place in the pantheon of pioneering producers. In fact, nobody can question his position right at the vanguard of forward-facing dancefloor dynamics.

myDEFINITION part II catches the SUED co-founder as vital as ever. Keeping it on that dusty, low-key flex that has long been his trademark, it harnesses ingenuity to conjure some of the most intriguing gear you’re likely to hear from a limited studio setup. Gone are the hi-tek jazz and ambient flourishes of the near-mythical ‘Untiled’ album, opting, instead, for pure dancefloor headiness. Precision-tooled breakbeats, opulent IDM cybernetics, tuff bleep n’ bass and late nite electro across 10 distinct trax.

Side quests into more abstract realms are fleeting. Dappled melodies evoke warmth in hues of pink and orange but any ambient-dub ephemera quickly dissipates into the peripheries in favour of club-ready pressure. The spectre of mid-‘90s dance music looms large but the SW. blueprint, with its captivating free-form approach, spins those vintage tropes into a distinct sound unto itself. Masterful, cinematic and hallucinatory.

Often drawing comparisons with B12’s seminal brand of ambient techno, SW. will surely be a stylistic reference point in his own right for years to come. Such is the indelible influence he has cast on contemporary electronic music. More

Albeit predictably, the music is completely electronic, with emphasis on analog textures reminiscent of the 70’s electronic movement. The Mental Groove Classic series returns with a treasure trove of rare and hard to find tracks plucked from the personal collection of label founder Olivier Ducret, a pivotal figure in Switzerland's acid house and rave-era party scene.

On Volumes Two and Three of the series - the first installment hit stores in 2017 - the Mental Groove and Musique Pour La Danse label founder takes us back to the turn of the '90s, a time he spent promoting parties in fields, squats, forests, warehouses and former factories in and around Geneva and behind the counter of a record shop of the same name. While others in Switzerland's emerging dance music scene gravitated towards US house and garage, Olivier and his crew opted for a bass, breaks and techno-focused sound inspired by regular trips to clubs, raves and record shops in the UK.

Drawing directly from his own record box and a memory bank full of snapshots of euphoric dancefloor moments, Mental Groove Classics volumes Two and Three sees Olivier reaching for cuts of near-mythical rarity, genuinely overlooked gems, and undeniably brilliant tracks that have left a long-lasting impression on the local raving landscape. The Comfort continues on their mission to release heady, innovative dance music of the upmost quality and their fourth release comes from Terraflow aka Alasdair Jenkins, a Reading-born, London-based young English producer debuting with his first release “Mystic Vista”. A record that drew inspiration from the sets of The Comforts founder and it definitely shows.

The record kicks off with “Dysania”, a dramatic synth-heavy track with a vortex-inducing bass providing the foundation. A track best described as mystical and inviting, perfect for setting a specific tone. Following up is “Clay”, a track rooted in the fundamental essence of electro music yet elevated with an irresistible groove—an ideal track for when you want time to stay still on the dance floor.

The B side flips the mood from low-key melancholia towards something more intense and inspired from trance influences. The first track “5am Gillian House” feels like a fast-paced race or an intense battle that induces a feeling of energy suitable for the peakest hours of the night.

The record ends with “Intergalactic Space Time Travel”, a track as true to its name as it is to the fundamentals of what makes good dance music good. Dynamic, catchy on the melody and irresistibly funky with hints of progressive fading in and out. More

Re-issue from 1993!!!
Very rare and sought after! 'Melon Ball' is a mixture between the most beautiful sound-layers you can imagine and a light acid-line in the background.
Alltogether makes this track so wonderful and moving. You could enjoy it in the club as well as on the beach during the sunset!
