Dino Lenny is an Italian electronic music producer based in London. He is the founder of Frenetica and Fine Human
Records. He gains notoriety remixing Underworld, INXS, Missy Elliot, Timbaland and collaborating with everyone from Scissor Sisters to WuTang Clan and Madonna. From 2014 onwards he’s been enjoying successful releases on labels like Ellum, Innervisions, Crosstown Rebels, Afterlife, Bedrock, Diynamic and many others. In 2015 Dino signs a string of three consecutive EPs (“It’s Saturday”, “Living In A Song” & the anthem “This Is A Love Song”) on Ellum. Dino’s remix with Seth Troxler of “The Magic Room” is released on Seth's label (Play It Say It) while at the same time his track “A Certain Distance” is released on Innervisions, along with a great rework from label boss Dixon himself. Over the last years Dino and ARTBAT have coproduced acclaimed EPs on Solomun's Diynamic & Tale Of Us’ Afterlife. His track “Keep Changing Basslines” has been included on Sven Väth's iconic Cocoon annual compilation. He has also started a collaboration with John Digweed's Bedrock label and released for Rampa's new imprint. Since January 2021 Dino has been successfully hosting the “Core” radio show with guests like Sven Väth, Adam Beyer, Adriatique & Joris Voorn. Core is Tomorrowland's alternative stage for Electronic Music. Dino has a strong connection with Core having been featured on that very same stage since the early days. Dino lands now on Memento Records with a beautiful two- tracker featuring the original “Hold Me” and its Dub version as the b-side. “Hold Me” sees Dino team up with Argentinian singer/songwriter Polina Grace for a deep and atmospheric piece: her multi-toned sophisticated singing matches late 80s dreamy synth melodies, with an infectious bassline and subtle percussions creating a soulful groove, making this the perfect soundtrack to a Balearic sunset. The Dub version strips down the track to a more essential sound while retaining all the magic of the original.

Ashtar Afterhours is Kenneth Graham - originally from Los Angeles, he has been a defining presence in electronic music ever since the 90s. Buying his first classic synthesizer, a Yamaha CS01, in 1984, he delved into music production at an early stage. Ashtar Afterhours is Kenneth Graham - originally from Los Angeles, he has been a defining presence in electronic music ever since the 90s. Borrowing elements from early Detroit techno, and Perlonized minimal, the ‘Antic Drive’ EP distills the German-born, Austria-based producer’s broad spectrum of influences into a highly functional, club-ready collection of tracks that perfectly fits the imprint’s modus operandi.
The A-side kicks off with ‘Do You Ever Fantasize’, a deep club tool built around the vocal sample of the title and punctuated by building drums, alien sonics at every turn, and a mean, highly danceable bassline to boot. “Pumping, vibrant, and packed with energy”: Iconic duo Dam Swindle deliver once again with their ‘Minor fools’ EP.
Last year, Dam Swindle celebrated their 10 year anniversary with the ‘Keep on Swindling’ series. The hard-hitters ‘All I want’, ‘Good woman’, and ‘You’ showed various sides of that much loved Swindle sound as well as some steps into a more leftfield electronic area. Now, they’re back on Heist with a 3-track club EP full of that recognizable upbeat energy.
‘That’s Right’ has Dam Swindle in full live mode, not unlike their timeless classic “Call of the Wild feat. Jungle by Night”. Live keys, bass, percussion, and horns (the latter by the Jungle by Night’s trumpet guru Bo Floor) give you the feeling like you’re on stage with a full band, hearing them give their all to record this heartwarming piece of music. Over the course of its 7 minutes, the duo takes you on an electrifying feel-good trip through the Swindle sonic universe.
On The EP title track ‘Minor fools’, Dam Swindle go into classic US house mode. Shuffling hats, a bouncy bass and male vocal chops lay the foundation for some crunchy jazz chords (think Underground Resistance with a Swindle touch). The track builds tension with haunting organs, looped vocals and smart modulation in the keys. Add to that the bouncy synth section at the heart of the track and you’ve got a jam that slaps hard in the best way imaginable.
The EP ends with the dreamy & contemplative ‘Soul’s lament’; A slow burner that builds and builds on a relentless rhythm of bells and skipping hi-hats. Slowly, a massive string section takes control of the track, after which, an acid line takes over that gives the track its driving electronic touch. It’s a welcome deep note to an EP that shows you exactly why Dam Swindle are such well respected and versatile producers.

She deconstructs and distorts house music with intent, letting in pressure, dissonance, and emotional rupture. Her sets draw on the “timeless mindless states” of Mancuso’s The Loft, unfolding as rituals that don’t smooth over the chaos, they work with it.
