We have been playing techno with drums, bass and guitar for 15 years. During this time we
have released ten albums, seven EPs and various singles and remixes. We have played
around 500 concerts at clubs and festivals around the world. For a lot of releases and shows
we have had the opportunity to collaborate with great like-minded musicians. Some of these
collaborations have been recorded but have not been available to the public until now. Some
of our most eclectic yet danceable tracks recorded as a trio also haven’t found their way to
our audience yet. Although we usually focus on searching for new sounds in the future we
now allow ourselves to find them in our past.
This is a compilation of “lost tracks” that have been waiting on our harddrives to be
rediscovered and finally made available to you - Enjoy! More

Elektro Guzzi from Vienna are back with their new, their ninth album »Triangle«. Since their
first, self-titled album in 2010, Elektro Guzzi have been working on a variety of techno that is
not programmed on a computer or sequencer, but rather analogously performed by using
electric bass (Jakob Schneidewind), drums (Bernhard Breuer) and electric guitar (Bernhard
Hammer) and it is techno-music, that arises in the moment of interaction - a music that often
develops in the direction of cosmic music. On »Triangle«, Elektro Guzzi overcame the
natural, »learned« sound of their instruments. The futuristic concept of techno shines
through all the more as a role model - that there is precisely this clear idea of transcending
the present by playing a hypnotic, interlocking music of the future. »Triangle« is the logical
next step for a band that is always looking for »more«, for departure, for consistency. The
forced break of the lockdowns 2020/2021 and the restrictions in the context of the crisis
made the band move closer together; on »Triangle«, Elektro Guzzi increased their efficiency
to the unbelievable.

Literary all the Granny Smith apple trees grown today, from Uruguay to Hokaido, are CLONES from Mrs. Smith's original tree in Sydney. Bananas, oranges, watermelons, garlic & other fruits of daily delight are routinely replicated without any input of external ideas - i.e., they are cloned. There is no general ethical or aesthetic decision to be formed about CLONES, since you have already imbibed them ever since your first bite. Thus, you are not in a neutral or otherwise preliminary position, but already involved, kneedeep.
It may not be a coincidence that the first mammals, warm-blooded egg-layers and small marsupials, date almost exactly to the period of the first flowers, evolving some 125 million years ago. Quick-thinking, vegetable eating mammals provide a most striking example of cooperation in evolution, as their interest in plant foods led them to become well-fed. A bond has been formed. Seedless plants, like banana and oranges, have made a most remarkable dispersal strategy: season after season, human growers CLONE them. The plants are perpetuated because they taste so good.
And that's about it. Much has been said about Elektro Guzzi's aptitude in transcending their instrumental sources towards techno of unlikely beauty, pristine consistency and razor-sharp definition. It tastes good, and thus they have decided to CLONE themselves. Elektro Guzzi plow through their own fertile ground of ideas and sprout structures, textures and gestures into a dizzying array of new offerings. Yet the tunnel vision of the singular point of origin of all tracks makes it smack even more. Because there's never too much of a great thing.

elektro guzzi - acid bonus
Tracklist: 1. Circle One / 2. Circle Two / 3. Acid Bonus
Biography:
ELEKTRO GUZZI have been called many names: man-machine, clockwork, techno organism. It is truly one like no other. By now, the 3 Austrian wizards have become the preeminent techno band. A trio of guitar, bass and drums, they play murder beats with the drive of a machine that got possession of the sonic detail only physical instruments are capable producing. The unparalleled appeal of matching sound and performance vision in real time - you see how every sound is created, right there, on the spot - have made them a primary choice for cutting edge festivals like Roskilde, Sónar (2x official programm), Mutek, Melt!, Stop Making Sense, C/O Pop, Eurosonic, Extrema, Airwaves, Sziget, Dancity, Spring Festival and a long list of others across Europe, North and Latin America and Japan. In parallel they have conquered the club circuit from Berghain to Fabric to Arma17.
The album:
Originally recorded for a Tapeworm cassette release, Austrian techno wonder Elektro Guzzi locks into two "circles" + one essential addition. Tight as ever, but this time the usual restrictions to track durations and vinyl sides are completely abandoned in favour of deep explorations of the long form. Rich on texture, all the little timbral strokes add up to a continuous push down the bass-heavy techno rabbit hole. The result is nowhere close to a loose jam, but renders a concentrated display of musical swarm logic. Intimate, thrusting, circular.

Tracklist: 1. Rough Tide / 2. Acid Camouflage / 3. Alaska Flip / 4. Trojan Robot / 5. Undulata / 6. Atlas / 7. Threshold People / 8. The Grist
Live "techno-tanzband" trio Elektro Guzzi are set to release their new studio album 'Observatory' via Berlin based record label Macro. From their 2010 s/t debut album ("hauntingly beautiful" - Resident Advisor) and 2011 follow up 'Parquet' ("hypnotic, near kosmische reverberations" - Clash) Elektro Guzzi have taken their man-machine live show of bass, guitar, drums around the world, from landmark clubs like Fabric and Berghain to major festivals Roskilde, Sónar and Mutek.
With 'Observatory', Bernhard Hammer, Jakob Schneidewind and Bernhard Breuer shift everything anyone could expect from a live band. Tellingly, instrument credits have been wiped off the record sleeve. Still a string and a drum skin at the source, the sound emanating from the speakers seems to have travelled light years. Utterly alien, 'Observatory' unfolds into a paradigm for both the performance of music and the music performed.
Despite advances in software, ironically it is this live band that initiates a redesign of how techno could leap into the future. There is nothing retro about it. No citations of historic moments. The album resembles a party on the edge of the solar system, with scraps of distant sound memories - a shocking abandonment of anything an instrument was supposed to do. The recordings' warmth is at a stark contrast to the music's Skynet thrust: a time capsule of techno projected into the dark unknown. Metallic and human at the same time, a love cry miles from home... More

Tracklist: A1: Cashmere A2: Crack Fox B: Cashmere (Reverse Mix)
If the "Parquet" album saw them delivering a unified vision of dancefloor purity to massive acclaim, "Cashmere" now takes ELEKTRO GUZZI's signature man-machine sound up a notch. It is moving their rock-solid base towards ecstatic moments of techno bliss. In the title track layers of circling angular chords cause goose bumps, while a warmly pulsating foundation of bass and drums locks in the groove. The "Reverse Mix" does exactly what it says: reversing the arrangement and re-building the track back to front. In "Crack Fox" it is then the interaction of shifted bass line and countering melodic scraps that pushes the whole thing forward. All set off against ultra-steady drumworks, only swelling in lengthy waves towards eerie peaks, the result is sheer madness. Essential material from the band that reinvented "live techno."

Elektro Guzzi deliver one of the most thrilling live performance models for techno and an innovative leap in the art of band performance at the very same time. It's almost the antithesis to what a band is supposed to be. While they use guitar, bass and drums only, they take the most unusual playing techniques and put them together into a rigid mechanical form where it all makes instant, evident sense. Yet, if they had not performed live extensively, becoming audience favourites from Mutek to Sónar or Berghain to Fabric, it would be hard to believe this is really how the music is created. That said, everyone who saw them deemed it impossible they could go even further into the man-machine direction. Yet it is exactly what they did.
Parquet, their second studio album sees them in an unprecedented monomaniacal techno mode. Throughout the 9 tracks the distinctions between instruments and roles are totally vaporized. While their instrumental approach is at the core of their aesthetics, it really doesn't matter anymore if one sound comes from a guitar or bass or drum - it has all been merged into one sonic unit and all there is, is the music as a unified entity. While all the qualities of live performance are at hand - real time interaction, visual plausibility, instant miniscule adaptations - it is a radical break with what group performances have been about so far.
Parquet is as much a straight up club music record as it is rich of nuances and details. Astonishingly, while being their most rigid and dance-centered work to date, it also holds outbursts of beauty with tonal lines, ringing overtones and warm resonances. The rhythms are stripped down to the core and structured for affecting longer stretches of perception. Every track comes with a distinctive, almost "branding" feature - like the hypnotic meter-shifting line of Affumicato, the gated chords of Pentagonia or the abridged rhythm of Absorber. Actually, it all was recorded directly to analog tape. No edits, no overdubs. It's the man-machine in real time and a hint at the love Elektro Guzzi put in the process. You probably have to be as dedicated as Bernhard Hammer, Jakob Schneidewind and Bernhard Breuer to take things that deep.

PRODUCED BY ELEKTRO GUZZI AND PATRICK PULSINGER RECORDED DIRECTLY TO ANALOG TAPE. NO EDITS. NO OVERDUBS.
Elektro Guzzi redefined the meaning of performing techno live. That said, it seemed impossible they could go even further in this direction. Yet that's exactly what they did.
Parquet, their second studio album sees them in monomaniacal, claustrophobic techno mode. Throughout the nine tracks the distinctions between instruments and roles are totally vaporized. While their instrumental approach is at the core of their aesthetics, it really doesn't matter anymore if one sound comes from a guitar or bass or drum - it has all been merged into one sonic unit and all there is, is the music as a unified entity. In its quality and appeal "it shouldn't matter if it is played or produced electronically", say Elektro Guzzi. While all the qualities of live performance are at hand - real time interaction, visual plausibility, instant miniscule adaptations - it is a radical break with what group performances have been about so far.

The story: Techno live: With more and more artists competing for attention, live presentation has become the most important ressource. A growing number of electronic artists are incorporating live instruments into their sound – but only Vienna’s Elektro Guzzi actually play 100% live: no laptops, no loops, no programming. Their unparalleled live success made them the leader in the field: Sónar, Mutek, Berghain, Fabric, Amsterdam Dance Event, Time Warp + dozens more appearances at top festivals and clubs. Elektro Guzzi had the biggest headstart on the circuit of 2010.
This has always been considered the main advantage of having a band on stage: you can see and feel what you hear. And in techno this is only really true for Elektro Guzzi. What sounded incredible in their debut album “Elektro Guzzi”, works wonders live (and they don’t depend on visuals to excite their crowds). They did not only made most laptop acts sound rather dull, but they have been in fast-forward evolution mode, too.
The album: “Live P.A.” captures the latest state of Elektro Guzzi’s incredible live sound, recorded in London with the outstanding mixing capabilities of Brendon ‘Octave’ Harding, the trusted engineer of dub legend Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry.
The set captures Elektro Guzzi’s raw live side, turning out dark grooves with an almost indie edge – probably their most appealing material to date. This set had been originally recorded for Resident Advisor. Now, the CD version has been newly mixed by their producer Patrick Pulsinger (Hercules & Love Affair) and is available in full resolution for the very first time.
Huge crossover potential: attractive to fans of techno/electronic, indie and experimental styles alike. Massive live presence at festivals and clubs. SONÁR (Barcelona), TIME WARP 2010, Spring 10 (Graz), Amsterdam Dance Event, Mutek (Montreal) + several festivals in France, Italy, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, Eastern Europe.

Man/Machine: Since their self titled debut album, Vienna's Elektro Guzzi made an impact on the scene no one could have imagined. Being the first ever REAL techno live band, they took the scene by storm with their unparalleled stage appeal and future-forward sound. Rocking clubs like Berghain and Fabric as well as numerous festivals (including Sónar, Time Warp, Spring 10, ADE and Mutek), it was the headstart of 2010. Playing constantly live at countless gigs, plus live and studio appearances with Patrick Pulsinger and Stefan Goldmann, Elektro Guzzi's music was set on fast forward evolution mode. "Extrakt EP" captures the latest state of Elektro Guzzi's incredible live sound, recorded in London with the outstanding capabilities of Brendon 'Octave' Harding, the trusted engineer of dub legend Lee 'Scratch' Perry, and mixed by mega-producer Patrick Pulsinger.
The four cuts capture Elektro Guzzi's raw side, turning out dark sexy grooves with an almost indie edge - probably their most danceable and DJ friendly studio material to date - specifically produced for the vinyl format. This EP is the track-format warm up for Elektro Guzzi's NEW LIVE ALBUM CD "Live P.A.", coming up in APRIL 2011 on MACRO! Live performances coming up at Mutek festival (Montreal), Berghain (Berlin), Electron festival (Geneva), Dancity festival (Foligno) and maaaaaaaany more!

SHORT INFO:
Monochord are Vienna-based musicians Bernhard Hammer and Jakob Schneidewind, two
thirds of Elektro Guzzi, though Monochord paints a different picture. Electroacoustic
experiments and filmic elements define the music that develops instinctively yet irrevocably,
a sense of forward motion setting them apart. Compositionally minimal, their tracks
maximise their inherent potential all the way through to their logical and even illogical end.
Referencing electronica, ambient, shoegaze and at times modern classical harmonics,
Monochord builds and unbuilds in a slow heartbeat. Introspective and filmic, its quiet and
non-confrontational nature makes Monochord move in the interzone between various
spheres. Their music escapes definition and that is its truest definition. Its subtle pulse and
evocative and drony feel invite and inspire.

SHORT INFO:
The 9th studio album of the band tumido features trumpet player Alex Kranabetter (Soap and Skin, Vodoo
Jürgens). For more than 20 years Tumido has been on the lookout for something new, always on the move,
focused on energy in any form, driving rhythms, powerful bass, spacey drones. Trumpet has always been a big
part of their sound universe, so it felt very natural to collaborate with a master of trumpet sounds, Alex
Kranabetter and record an album together.
Lithox - a maelstrom you can't escape, sucked in by a hypnotic bass & driving rhythms into a trance world you
don't want to leave
Dwa - a summer hit out of Hades on the slide to hell.
180° - a volcanic eruption on a lonely island - pure energy;
Dirt Rodeo - the branches of the fire tree dance with laughter, clouds of smoke cloud the senses and the landing
is a success.
5. VITAL SALES POINTS:
This is the first collaboration between the Noiserock band Tumido and Alex Kranabetter.
It is their first release on Palazzo Recordings, the Label of the Band Elektro Guzzi where the drummer of Tumdio
also plays.
Alex Kranabetter is a very well-known trumpet player and plays with Vodoo Jürgens and Soap and Skin, among
others. More

25 killer library music cuts by the German film music maestro on audiophile pressing in deluxe 2x10" set. Uberrare and never released before material from 1968-1976, sourced from Peter Thomas' personal reel-to-reel tape archive. Limited edition of 500 pieces. From brassy big band funk, space jazz, krauty synth experiments to proto-hiphop, cosmic schlagers, heavy easy listening, soulful soundtrack moods and absurdly dreamy LSD ballads, this compilation encompasses the composer's most obscure and yet most transcendent work. Peter Thomas is widely acknowledged as Germany's most inventive film music composer of the 1960s and 1970, best known for his iconic soundtrack work. He scored over 600 films and episodes, from the crime blockbusters of Jerry Cotton and Edgar Wallace to indie arthouse films like Playgirl, Bruce Lee's The Big Boss and the extraterrestrial Space Patrol and Chariot of the Gods. dHis recordings for music libraries often provided an even more leftfield approach. Their visionary 'dope beats' appeal provoked a keen interest from vinyl aficionados, beatmakers and rare groove DJs alike. Unavailable for the public, the original "for professional usage only" albums are now sought-after collector's items that fetch astronomic prices on the 2ndhand market. This double 10" album is the definite selection of Thomas' best library cues from the Golden Ring Records, KPM and DeWolfe catalogues, many of them available publicly for the first time - plus four recently unearthed "lost" tracks from Warner Chappell's CPM Archive series that have never been released on vinyl before. All music was carefully transferred from Peter Thomas' private master tapes and cut in full dynamics, housed in a beautiful fold-out cover with liner notes and private pictures. The compilation was realised in cooperation with Peter Thomas' son Philip who takes care of the Peter Thomas Sound Orchester catalogue after his father's death in 2020.

Special vinyl re-issue of Trentemøller's groundbreaking debut album. Includes all of the 13 songs on vinyl for the first time. Triple-vinyl in gatefold sleeve.
Trentemøller's debut album remains one of the few genre-defining and groundbreaking
albums in many regards. It's still being praised for its composition and sounddesign alike and sounds as fresh and breathtaking today as it did when it was originally released in 2006.
The Last Resort - a beautifully crafted, astonishing masterpiece, that will leave you breathless. The 13
instrumental tracks together form a wordless musical story, almost like the soundtrack of a movie. It
manages to capture a whole range of emotions in subtle melodic miniatures, dreamy ambiences, dusty beats, deep dub-tracks and driving groove-excursions. An ever-changing kaleidoscope of colours and moods. Although it's an electronic album, it also incorporates live-drums, guitars, bass and other acoustic instruments like celesta, glockenspiel, melodica and even DJ scratching to create a more organic feel. The album received fantastic acclaim from both music fans and journalists around the world and made it into the top-lists of the month, the year, the decade - alongside an array of awards for best production or best album.
Back in 2006, the original pressing only included a selection of songs from the original 13-track album release. It missed out on songs which had been released on singles or didn't "fit" on the so called "vinyl edition". Due to 'public demand' and simply because this album deserves a proper vinyl
release we are happy to finally present, for the first time, the full album on vinyl. It spans of three vinyl discs and is packed in a beautiful gatefold sleeve which also holds a download-code. The recut has been carefully crafted from first generation, orignal masters by Calyx in Berlin. Since the album has been praised for its fantastic sound the primary directive was to cut the lacquers for the re-issue so that they would sound exactly the same as the original release, which has been the CD version of the album. No 'digital remastering' or any other alterations have been applied.
All 13 songs of the classic album on one vinyl release for the first time. Triple-Vinyl edition. Gatefold sleeve. download code. original sound-quality. NO digital remastering.

It's the pair you've all been waiting for! FINALLY!
Alan Tew's Drama Suite Part II. What can we really say? Honestly? We guess the first thing that strikes you is how clean the drums are. Almost impossibly slick but dripping so, so heavy with the neck-snapping funk you'd expect from perhaps the most sought-after library funk set of them all! The cheapest on Discogs is, currently, £1300+. Now's your chance to remedy that. If you know, you know. And we think you know...
"The Rub" is a cool, low-slung heavy-funk roller with relaxed brass and alto flute phrases. Up next, "Money Runner" is another edgy funk glider, its easy-tempo moving in harmony with slinky rhythmic riffs and featuring a seemingly ad-libbed electric piano solo. Strutting along after, "White Elephant Walk" is another laconic, deeply stoned walking theme with electric piano and alto flutes. There follows a couple of brief "walking" links before the brilliantly tense "Master Plan" slowly builds. Expectancy grows to the main theme around a minute in and then a melodic theme builds slightly to the 3 minute mark before floating down gradually and elegantly to its climax. It's utterly fantastic. The smoky, after-hours "Night Watch" is a slow, cool gem featuring alto flutes and synths.
Now we're talking, "The Fence (a)" is just sensational and worth buying this album all on its own. It's likely the reason you're here, anyway. Another impossibly funky, slow and easy tempo with a bass riff to die for, dramatic guitar with gorgeous electric piano and alto flute phrases. It was sampled for "Action Satisfaction" by J5, way way back. "The Fence (b)" is a slower, more deliberate version of the previous heater, but it's no less essential. Indeed, it's absolutely jaw-drooping. Closing out this remarkable side, "Surveillance" is another horizontal masterpiece of relaxed yet dramatic jazz-funk. Vibes ad-lib in centre section and give you an idea of how Roy Ayers making library funk in the mid-late 70s might've sounded. Sensational.
Flip over for "Total Silence", a near-beatless and understated scene-setter featuring neat interplay of guitar and synthesizer themes over bass and hi-hats. The slow "Eyes" follows, a brief gem with subdued electric piano solo and a light climax. The fantastic "Drama Backcloth (1a)" is up next, a repetitive piano and bass refrain with guitar figures over the top. Its creeping crime-funk vibe was pilfered for "Outta Town Shit" by Ghostface Killah in 2006. "Drama Backcloth (1b)" is a short, subdued version without the guitar figure. "Drama Backcloth (2)" features an expectant, background marimba figure over light rhythm whilst the cool "Drama Backcloth (3)" centres around a relaxed riff and the angular "Drama Backcloth (4)" presents eerie progressions with piano interjections. It's decidedly non-rhythmic!
We're then onto 14 (!) different half-minute "Scenechanges", all jazzy and funky, some cool and dramatic, some slow and rhythmic. All ace and groove-fuelled. The aptly-titled "Final Statement" closes proceedings, a slow, pensive theme on guitar joined by cool brass and a solo trumpet to its climax.
As with all of our KPM re-issues, the audio for Drama Suite Part II comes from the original analogue tapes and has been remastered for vinyl by Be With regular Simon Francis. And as usual, the sleeve reproduction duties were handed over to Richard Robinson, the current custodian of KPM’s brand identity. We're not quite sure what else to say about this landmark record, other than, GET IT! More

After 2021’s critically acclaimed album “Afraid To Leave”, Berlin based post-punkers Bleib Modern invited artist friends to take an outside perspective on their tracks, resulting in the “2 Afraid 2 Leave” compilation, featuring remixes and reworks from several esteemed names within the darkwave, post-punk and EBM music scenes.
From club bangers like IV Horsemen’s version of “Bitter Smile” and M!R!M’s dreamy lo-fi bedroom synthpop sound on “Into The Night” to Danish deviant pop artist Dune Messiah’s crooner “Loony Voices”. The album also boasts contributions from luminaries like The KVB, The Underground Youth, Blind Delon, Shad Shadows and various Bleib Modern band member side projects.

Alan Tew's driving jazz-rock, sleuth-funk masterpiece, Drama Suite Part I is finally reissued to sate your appetites for arguably the very best library two-parter in existence. If you don’t know, get to know. Originally released in 1976 but wonderfully timeless, Drama Suite Part I is at the top of every library funk collectors' list. It's easy to see why...
Racing out the gate, the gritty crime funk of "The Detectives" makes for a thrilling, wild ride. A dramatic action theme, it's packed with strident playing and bags of attitude. There follows 10 (ten!) drama-tinged, horn-heavy, wah-wah-laced, conga-enhanced, synth-riddled links for neat segues and maximum funk fever. "Helicop" is another fast paced and energetic dramatic action background with great breaks and horns. "The Big One (Prelude)" has an ace bassline and creeps along superbly to create expectation and contains an amazing rolling piano loop that just stops you dead in your tracks. It's all building to "The Big One", a driving, dramatic, full-band action with fantastic funk breaks, heavy horns and *that* piano refrain. It was sampled by Jay-Z, and you can't really blame him, can you? The brief, tense "Headlights" and (even briefer) burner "The Burn" add some - you guessed it - deep drama over insistent rhythms to close out Side A.
Flip over for "The Detectives (Slow Version)", a relaxed, thoughtful version featuring synths. You might recognise it as being sampled by Domo Genesis and Evidence for "Tallulah" from their brilliant collaboration a few years ago. "The Detectives (Interlude)" is another slow, pensive version featuring electric piano and a trombone solo in the centre section. There follows 6 further links, Detectives versions essentially, with guitars, electric pianos, flugelhorns - all very cool and relaxed rhythms. The strutting majesty of big-time highlight "The Build Up" is next. It's a medium-slow drama background with occasional light statements of The Detectives theme peppered throughout. Nice. The fantastically-titled "Snout" is a slow, tense background theme which features a repetitive guitar figure with alto flutes over the top. The tense, stabby funk of "The Prowler" rounds out proceedings, with nervous figures over a slow, insistent cymbal beat.
As with all of our KPM re-issues, the audio for Drama Suite Part I comes from the original analogue tapes and has been remastered for vinyl by Be With regular Simon Francis. And as usual, the sleeve reproduction duties were handed over to Richard Robinson, the current custodian of KPM’s brand identity. We're not quite sure what else to say about this landmark record, other than, GET IT! More

The Empress of Nature & t-woc cover the interplanetary boogie hit 'Rappers Delight' , while Felix Kubin & daughter Bela waltz through the stratus. Conny Frischauf and The Mindful Potheads take us to lynchian journeys of kindergarten Kraut. Mytron's motorik moon dance spins past Naomi Klaus' martian punk shuffle, all amongst a stellar double pack of electronics orbiting Uranus.
In these gloomy times some whimsical fun and a little lightness is just what we need right? Put on your space helmets, fly high and enjoy these trippy sonic explorations..
Vital Sales Points:
Follow up soFa's previous Strangelove releases CCCVVV (SL111) and Psychedelic Digestion Therapy (SL109)

Sales Note
System 108 resident Lipelis teams up with Carrot Green from Rio de Janeiro to create a dreamy, summer vibed EP simply dedicated to them both: Leo & Caito, with naming and artwork playfully inspired by Sertanejo genre standards. The duo emerged in early 2020 on the streets of Rio and started to jam same night in the studio of Carlos, who is affiliated with all cool gangs of the Brazilian dance scene. Just like on Lipelis's critically acclaimed Function As A Meaning EP (a System 108 instant classic by now!), things took off by themselves: intuitive sampling of chords taken from Brazilian gospel found some unexpected modular synth tweaking. For good!"Rolando Nascer do Sol" is THE track, that the duo is particularly proud of. In the words of Lipelis, who has once spinned it at Gop Tun carnival party, in a b2b set w/ Millos Kaiser - 'it produced an unforgettable euphoric effect".Having witnessed how all the tracks work on the dancefloors not only in Brazil, we are uber-excited to finally release this 4-track EP! Tracklist

B2. 16 Red
Release info:
Sometimes you go to take a step back to go forward. What sounds like a Ferris Bueller quote and can be as easily applied as a seatbelt, also holds true for the long over-due and outright return of Tiger & Woods. Four tracks that are as classic as they are catchy and as simple as the monochrome label that carries their titles. Drawing conclusions from an extended period as a DJ team and before going back to their esteemed and critically acclaimed live set, it’s all made for dance floors and with their conductors in mind. Going back to their roots, it marks the start of a series with raw takes and an authentic aesthetic. The job of feet is walking, but their hobby is dancing.
Sue Me and License To Vibe (featuring long-time collaborator ’Em) sound like they were ripped straight from an unreleased Editainment reel. On the other side, Chicken Bone and 16 Red are even straighter on the DJ tip: turning French House Italian. Powerful and punchy. No samples were harmed during the filming of this record!

Alex Albrecht returns to Analogue Attic Recordings for the label's inaugural release of 2024.
An immersive exploration spanning house, downtempo, and ambient genres, Albrecht guides listeners through a ephemeral sonic journey. Characterised by trademark field recordings and enchanting piano motifs, 'Allambie' also integrates new hardware and synth sounds to Alex's palette.
Featuring electro-acoustic ventures such as 'Railbridge', warm pads breathing in and out, setting a dynamic tone, and then transitioning to the deeper sounds of 'Green Shade'. Sub-bass breaks and a more minor feel that adds complexity to the sonic landscape, 'Allambie' takes you on a journey from the boundary of the forest to its more mysterious, overgrown centre, a sonic narrative that captivates and intrigues. Chaos In The CBD - Luxury Motivation
2024 Repress!
Rhythm Section International proudly presents it’s 8th offering from local boys Chaos in the CBD. Born in New Zealand, but based in Peckham for the last few years (literally just around the corner from Henry Wu and Bradley Zero), these brothers have made a real mark on the scene here in London town and with their latest set of productions are set to take this message further afield.
Having already released internationally on labels such as ClekClekBoom (Paris), Hot Haus (London) and Amadeus (Montreal), the duo’s approach to production has matured immeasurably in the last year, as is evident in the restrained potency and poetic subtlety on the 4 tracks across this accomplished EP, Midnight in Peckham.
Taking it’s title from the locale the boys have come to know as home, the record channels a delicate late night energy - equally indebted to the hypnotic incantations of Ron Trent as it is to the hazy suburban atmospheres of Burial. These 4 classic cuts pay homage to deep house in it’s truest sense - at once sublime, melancholy and meditative . Chaos in the CBD have clearly taken their cue from the mid-west masters of the genre but have not been afraid to let their own influences and environ creep in, and in doing so have created something that is unmistakablely London and infact, timeless.
