Adesse Versions brings his cut and paste ethos to Razor-N-Tape with a varied pair of edit heaters. On this stellar 12", RNT takes it back to their early format of one track per side, and these two cuts can certainly carry it. “Bumpin' NYC" is an anthemic latenite boogie cut, with a hypnotic bass line and hometown shoutout, while "Sistem" flips an afrobeat sample into a dark and groovy club track. Vibes for days!

Release Info:
For those of you wondering what Adesse Versions was doing at our Heist Boiler Room this summer in London, the answer is here. The “Push it along” EP for Heist is Adesse Versions first appearance on our label and features 4 stunningly raw and warm originals, and an amazing remix by New York’s ambassador of funk: Ge-Ology, together with multi-instrumentalist Marc de Clive-Lowe on keys.
After having released numerous records for Jackmaster’s Numbers, Local Talk and Toy Tonics, we’re happy to welcome Adesse Versions to the Heist family. When he sent us his demo’s we had the tough job to choose the right tracks, cause there were just too many. The selection on the “Push it along EP” features what we feel are his purest work up to date. With only a small amount of elements, he manages to create such a big and warm sound, finding a great balance between gritty percussion, rich analog synths and funky sampling work.
Opening track Tout it is built around an ever evolving arpeggiated synth, a dancehall-esque percussive riddim and lovely pad work. It builds up slowly, without ever becoming dull, changing small elements and adding momentum with each step.
E to E is based on a chopped vocal looped to bits (only shouting: “E, E, E, E, E..), dancing hihats and a rolling bassline, whereas Geology flips the high energy original into a classic deephouse tune that fans of Larry Heard will love. The steady bassline and trianglework form a perfect canvas for MdcL’s work on various synths, adding layer after layer of melodrama.
The title track goes for the same recipe as Tout it, with fierce snares laying down the rhythm and a far away disco sample adding the right dose of funk. Ebony Roses is the final track of the EP: A beatless groove built around a spoken word vocal with dreamy piano work around it building up suspense as the track evolves.
We’ve been playing this EP over the course of the last few months and it’s been getting great response, so we’re happy to finally share it with you.
Sincerely yours, Lars & Maarten More

Adesse Versions coming on Toy Tonics! After some heavy releases on Numbers, Local Talk, Make Love In Public Spaces and his own white-label imprint, Kevin Gorman brings us four new raw, heavydriving, superfunky cut-and-paste- House tracks. Killers!
Adesse Versions started as a re-edit project while Kevin lived in Vietnam. It grew quickly, getting him big fame for being the guy playing just dubplates with unknown crazy music only he had. (Check his Boiler Room). Gilles Peterson, Derrick May and Larry Heard are fans.
Adesse Versions is all about paying tribute to his musical idols and creating timeless music. Through rough sampling and raw emotion and as a DJ and collector. He is an artist that has toured the world many times over. Exclusive edits are a staple, alongside a wide selection of music that comes from a deep knowledge and love of what he does. To hear this in action, check out the monthly Adesse Versions show on Rinse FM.

The much-hyped and long-awaited Danny Krivit edit EP on RNT is finally getting a release, be quick though this one is going to flllyyy! (You know it's good when Hunee's jumping on Antal's back as he closes out Rainbow Disco Club Japan with 'Stuff')
Razor-N-Tape welcome hometown hero Danny Krivit into their stable of editors with a 2-track EP that sources a pair of vibes from the catalog of the ubiquitous "Q."
"Stuff" begins with a mysteriously looped and reverbed-out saxophone sample, building perfectly toward an eventual explosion of soulful horn stabs and vocals over a percolating rhythm section, in classic Q style.
"The Story" tells a mellower yet mesmerizing tale, with its lush string arrangement and artful groove, perfect for those early warmups or late-night comedowns. A true living legend of NYC's rich DJ history, Danny dug deep into his personal cache of edit weapons for this very special record. Absolutely essential!

On the flip we get a taste of Rafa’s native Brazilian boogie with the stomping 'Frágil', and the EP winds down with the sensual slow groover 'Besos Libres'.

Irishman Jimmy Rouge of Orange Tree Edit fame joins the Razor-N-Tape team with a 2-track EP of bumping edit heat.
On the A-side “So Long” flips a cheeky hook over a rub-bery bass-line, with tension-building synth interludes that release into an ear worm of a vocal riff. On the flip, “Movin'” is a deep uptempo burner with piano stabs, rhythmic guitar plucks and an unstoppable groove.
RNT takes it back to their OG format of a single track per side, running loud and proud…one listen to these belters and you’ll see why!

The boys from Munich are back on RNT with a 4-tracker of serious flavor! 'Express Lane' launches the 12” on the disco highway for a wild ride of cheeky vocals, horn stabs, and vocoded synths, then veers south for some North-African New Wave with 'Libyan Sun'. The B side kicks off with the Afro-disco monster 'Don’t Oho', already a staple in RNT sets and then finishes with the minimalist electro-soul bounce of 'Emergency Loop'. Sure-shots, the lot of 'em!

Felipe Gordon and Vagabundo Club Social (aka Jaime Tuiran) deliver 3 excitingly unique edits in their first 12” outing on RNT, sourcing the Afro-Carribean sounds of their native Colombia.
From the Latin-Afrobeat flavor of 'Shakala', to the Salsa-funk swing of 'Los Bareteros', or the Cumbia-inflected romp 'El Cateter', this 12” is something quite different than the typical edit fair, and a likely new staple for any box!

2024 Repress
Oliver Koletzki's most successful album will be finally released on vinyl.
Tracklist:
A-Seite
1. This is Leisure feat. Mieze Katz
2. Zuckerwatte feat. Juli Holz
3. U-Bahn feat. Axel Bosse
4. Kusskompatibel
5. Warschauer Straße
B-Seite
1. Hypnotized feat. Fran
2. Kleines Zwischenspiel
3. Headshaped Box feat. Kate Mosh
4. These Habits feat. Pyur
5. Die Raketen - Nimm mich mit (Oliver Koletzki Remix)
The Berlin-based techno and house producer and DJ Oliver Koletzki has fully committed himself to his roots for this album. They can be traced back to pop music of the 80ies and 90ies, while his productions still manage to transport the fresh energy of today's electronic music productions. "Großstadtmärchen" is a perfect example for a producer's album: Oliver Koletzki has created a musically compact long player while working together with many different singers. Both established artists like Mieze Katz from the German electro-pop outfit MIA., the hot German pop-rock-singer Axel Bosse, critically acclaimed indie band Kate Mosh as well as newcomers such as Fran, Pyur and Juli Holz have contributed to the album. The result are ten songs that easily fluctuate between catchy pop tracks, modern house grooves and 80ies synthesizer pop yet still maintaining a very own Koletzkieske sound dynamic.
"Großstadtmärchen", which translates as "The tale of the big city" starts off with "THIS IS LEISURE". Famous pop singer Mieze Katz has put down her sexy voice on a guitar-based song pattern that functions as an ideal introduction into the craziness of the big city tales. After hearing this, the listener is directly fully drawn into this world when hearing Juli Holz's softly whispering voice singing about the dilemmas of love in the big city on "ZUCKERWATTE" (Single release date: 7.9.09). This is a very fine electro-pop tune. Coming up next Oliver Koletzki and Axel Bosse board an underground train that takes them around the Berlin U-Bahn system and back. Axel Bosse, who has had a massive success with his song "3 Millionen" adds his melancholic voice to this groovy pop anthem and sings about the poetic magic of public transport, while we hear the sounds of the trains on top. Of course, Oliver Koletzki has added some purely instrumental tracks on his album, too: "KUSSKOMPATIBEL" and "WARSCHAUER STRASSE" are a journey back to Oliver's first years in Berlin and his love for house music. "KLEINES ZWISCHENSPIEL" also celebrates the energetic sound of electronic music. Then there is another great shine of bright light with the pop track "HYPNOTIZED" that is already making airwaves on German radio. It features the newcomer singer Fran that turns this track into a wonderful electronic love story. In her beautiful crystal clear voice Fran tells the story of those moments during the night that decide where it's going to end: a song about love, passion and the energy between male and female, a catchy pop anthem about the first dance, the first kiss and that special moment when the night turns into day. Oliver has equipped this song with a wonderful piano melody and a very smooth and poppy electronic beat. Actually it sounds like Fran and Oliver have never been doing anything else than produce wonderfully fresh pop songs together.
The tale of the city carries on with a very appealing mixture of indie rock and electronic music. "HEADSHAPED BOX" encapsulates what Indietronic sounds like in the year 2009: symphonic, melodic and simply unique. On "THESE HABITS" the just seventeen-year-old singer Pyur makes her debut. This down-beat triphop-groove is a wonderful hit for the late summer. Last up is a bonus track: Oliver Koletzki remixes "NIMM MICH MIT" by the electronic boy-band Die Raketen.
"Großstadtmärchen": This title is chosen for a reason. The story behind Oliver Koletzki is also a magical tale of believing in yourself. Since he is 12 years old, Oliver makes music, by himself or in bands: it is the love for the energy of soundwaves that makes him work hard on himself. In 2005 Oliver Koletzki celebrates the big breakthrough by releasing his hit "Mückenschwarm" on the label of techno grand daddy Sven Väth Cocoon Records. It becomes not only the biggest tune of the year, but also the best selling single on Cocoon Records ever. With this success in mind, Oliver directly realises his dream of starting his own label to promote newcomers. Stil vor Talent also becomes the platform for the release of his first album "Get Wasted" in 2007. One year later, Oliver proves his intuition for pop music when he signs the track "3 Tage Wach" by Lützenkirchen. He makes a low-budget-video for the track that gets an astronomically large half a million views on YouTube within the first three weeks. At least from here it is obvious: Oliver Koletzki is not your average techno producer. His productions and his sense for orginal music also have a deep rooting within pop culture. Thus "Großstadtmärchen" is the logical consequence from two decades of intense musical production: here comes a mature, yet still playful pop album that manages to combine many different influences into one harmonious oeuvre. It shows just how close the dancefloor and pop music really always were, and still are.

The label name pays tribute to a hardware-focused production style which they first experimented with on their “Faux Polynesia” EP on Phonica White. This stylistic turning point encouraged further exploration into this direction, discovering new processes to make genuinely unique dance music that focuses on the idea that the best sounds are not imagined and then created, they are discovered.

Release Info:
Pool Boy is the side project of swiss-born Canadian producer Cyril Hahn. From an art student staying afloat with a menial job in a coffee shop to being Annie Mac-approved, his rise to prominence is a modern-day internet success story.
Rewind to 2013 when his pitch-shifted, game-changing reworks of
classics evolved from casual SoundCloud uploads to Annie Mac, Romy Madley-Croft-endorsed hits (yep – of The xx). This sudden trend was followed up a couple of critically acclaimed EPs on the great PMR Records. In 2018 as he started to move away from club-ready music, he started digging into a more pop-leaning, ambient, traditional listeing experience that led to the genesis of Pool Boy. In 2018, he releases his 1st Poolboy LP on Seb Wildblood's label Coastal Haze.
We are thrilled to welcome him back with a brand-new record to be
released on Noire & Blanche. 'All Inclusive', the upcoming 9 track LP, is a sun-drenched record bouncing between balearic, house, and ambient vibes. It has that light, exotic sound that you will be increasingly obsessed with and that will perfectly fit your sunset rides this summer.
Travelling along all these soundscapes and ambiances, Pool Boy invites his canadian fellow Pacific Colliseum (Teen Daze) on 'Pool House' for a cosmic house break. On another side, the LP will include a pack of 3 beautiful remixes from Gooch, Domenique Dumont and Khotin reflecting the variety of influences on this record.
