Aus Music bring a summer of firsts to a close as they follow up records from the newly collared Recloose, Trevino and Paul Woolford with another new addition to the team: Tom Trago. The Rush Hour regular joins the ranks with 'Being Broke' - a bright and groovy four-track aimed straight at the dance floor of this season's closing festivals.

The A side offers up an original and dub version of the title track - a bumping House groove built with playful vocal samples and nifty synth lines. On the flip are two version of 'Good Lies' - the first rolling out over its elongated duration with sharp, galloping hats and free-flowing Rhodes notes. Tension begins to develop as the track steadily snowballs gathering vocal snips and a menacing bass line while the 'Good Christian Edit' offers up a lighter, more early-doors affair bringing a nicely rounded package to a close.

Following the success of their 4th album 'Malamore' released in April this year, French duo The Limiñanas have now trusted London star DJ, producer and friend Andrew Weatherall to remix the flagship single Garden Of Love (feat. Peter Hook). The collaboration has resulted in two unique remixes.

"When we released "Je Ne Suis Pas Très Drogue" in 2009, Andrew played it in his radio show in London. Then Bernie Fabre contacted me because Andrew wanted us to play in his festival De La City A La Cité in Carcassone. That's how we met. When we worked with Peter Hook, the idea of a maxi with one or two remixes made sense. So we did this record with the original edit of "Garden Of Love" and two remix edits by Andrew Weatherall." - Lionel Limiñana

Desolat label boss Loco Dice is back with what is sure to be a massive autumn package: he has remixed the seminal dance track 'Go' by the legendary Moby, twice, and has made it all his own in the process.
Moby needs little introduction: the American dance producer and live performer's albums are classics of the genre that are celebrated far and wide. They have been used on thousands of adverts, have given rise to hit singles all over the world and have made him one of the most celebrated electronic music stars of our time. His 'Go' track was what started it all for him back in the 90's, and was a bona fide club classic of the day. It still resonates today and always gets crowds going. Now it has been remixed twice by Loco Dice, who has added his own stamp to it in distinctive fashion.
His first excellent version is eight minutes of chunky and tribal drums, with rubber kicks, clipped horn stabs and big hits all building the pressure. Those most famous vocal cries really finish it off in style, and ensure that dance floors will go wild whenever it is dropped, as do wonky synths and big piano chords at the breakdown.
The second version is more emotive, with big sweeping strings smeared in the background to help make it all the more dramatic, teary eyed and impactful on the floor. This one is for the peak time in any set and is sure to make the most memorable moment of any night.
Both remixes here pack a real punch, and whilst remaining true to the original, they both sound just like you would expect from modern dance heavyweight Loco Dice.

Dirt Crew's 100th release falls on this year's Deep Love Compilation. Set to drop across a double vinyl on 12.09, with 11 all exclusive original tracks from new and old favourites including Detroit Swindle, Nachtbraker, The Revenge and Felix Leifur.
Take a sonic trip across deep and straight up house, infused with jazz, disco and funk. This diverse and plentiful outing includes work outs for your dance floor alongside intergalactic analogue synth laden voyages, originating from artists we've uncovered from Japan to Iceland and many places in between. A truly great way to celebrate our 100th Release.

We kick things off with a relatively new kid on the Dirt Crew block, Felix Leifur. Following up his stellar EP, the Icelandic prodigy brings us "Feels Like", a great broken beat like house cut laden with jangly percussion, warbling Rhodes and golden vocal hook, Phat! Detroit Swindle, long time friends and contributors to the label who have become a household name in the house scene and are no strangers to the dance floor weapon, have brought us a bomb. "Tori Karaage" is a driving, sweat inducing, disco house, dance floor mover.

Ponty Mython is back with his trademark hustle and quirky sonic styling. A bouncing, intelligent and catchy groove rises with cries of "New York, New York" then gives way to a great break and spiraling arpeggio before getting right back to it. Get freaky with another one of our residents Nachtbraker, who delivers an a-typical groove and fresh approach to deep house. "Busy Bee" is heavily swung with licks of jazz piano, strummed strings and a soaring horn refrain. He flips it on it's head with an unmissable breakdown, then surprises us yet again with lush atmosphere. Harry Wolfman's "Rainbow Set" reduces the tempo slightly, keeping it deep and sexy. The sultry, smooth, disco touched vibe will have hips swaying in no time. Harry is a truly unique artist and one we're very pleased to have on the label.

We take a trip into analogue territory with Marlon Hoffstadt. As part of the duo "Tender Games" and with his own imprint "Retrograde", Marlon is a fast rising new face on the scene. His track "Extra Slim Manufactured" is drum machine driven with a boisterous bass and soul to spare. "Whopa" indeed, Leipzig's finest and "Rose Records" owners M.ono & Luvless come to the party with an uplifting piano house excursion plus a whole lot of energy. A change in name but not in quality, "Huerta" aka "Steve Huerta" who collaborated on our label on numerous releases with Urulu is back with a deep and beautiful house cut. "BLVD" will make you take a breath. Pressing synths push and pull, lead lines glisten and straight to the point percussion drives it home.

Go on a suspenseful odyssey with esteemed veteran producer Good Guy Mikesh. Housier than his last release on SPIEL, he brings us "Boiling", which increases in energy degree by degree, intensity rising until the heat can no longer be contained and the whole thing begins to bubble, tumbling arpeggios releasing the pressure. Yes yes! The Revenge is back as well! Another belter from the master of the live jam direct to press. Showcasing his signature mixture of disco and house, the diva calls us to dance while thumping drums, a massive growling bass and tasty lead show the way. Direct from Japan, the latest newcomer to our label and another intrinsically original artists, we're pleased to introduce Jun Kamoda. He made his debut on Brooklyn's "Mister Saturday Night" and has surprised us with a completely new twist on house. "I know" presents casual melodies and positive energies on a transcendental landscape. Take this one on a long trip somewhere. Perfect for plane and train rides, the music speaks to time spent gazing out the window.

Popping up for the first time on Figure SPC Y, it was the remarkable synth-work of UBX127 that instantly struck a chord with the label's demand for substantial techno. Now the Stockholm artist proves himself loyal and hits back twofold with a pair of EPs that further highlight his mastery of both vivid modulation and effective sequencing.

Leading into this batch of new tunes are the crafty and beautifully fleshed-out synth-arpeggios of opener Han, which UBX127 complements gracefully by adding tender touches of melody. A2 cut Create and Destroy displays a new side to the producer that verges on the manic, building upon a swirling theme that soon flies into a lunatic frenzy. Soothing then are the spacious sounds of Barabrus, a crisp piece of floating breakbeats and shoving sub-bass. Living up to its name, Swells starts as a bold synth-led groove and slowly grows into a romping beast that rebels against glistening sonic whiplashes.

Even in its own right Constant Permutation Part 1 stands as a cohesive and compelling record that will add to any collection. But with its equally strong successor already waiting in the wings, it is Ubx127 himself who will make a lasting impression.

featuring two new songs and three remixes of his debut Make It Up As You Go Along. One remix is by

The title track Device Control opens with a stunning kaleidoscope of synths by Kyle Combs (New York)
leading into the bouncing, hypnotic main body of this 134 bpm dance track, which Tillmans worked on
with Tim Knapp at Trixx Studios Berlin. Additional live drums are by Rosie Slater of New York band, New
Myths. The lyrics are made up of fauxsmartphone
adverts about the supposed possibilities of streaming
one’s life. The song was written and recorded in one take with an iPhone voice recorder followed by
various stages of production in Berlin and New York.
Angered Son borrows a single line lyric from a New York Times article about the perpetrator of the
Orlando shooting: ‘His son had recently been angered by seeing two men kissing’. In two different a
cappella versions, the looped and sampled vocals recall songs in the round style.
The AA side is devoted to three outstanding remixes of this summer’s Make It Up As You Go Along. In
what amounts to something of a music world sensation, Tillmans was able to win Salem’s Jack
Donoghue and John Holland as contributors, it being their first released music in five years. In their
signature style, the 2’45” short track is a strong abstraction of the original, leaving just the basic harmony
in place while creating an intense piece of draw and pull.
‘I feel there is the same kind of magic or draw coming from the bayou and where we were staying in
Montegut, Louisiana, so it's nice to think we maybe tapped into that…’ John Holland
Daniel Wang & J.E.E.P. have created a remix and a dub of Make It Up As You Go Along which will
undoubtedly leave its mark on the house dance floor. They added addictive arpeggiators, turned the
bassline over into a warping warm 303 groove, and slowed down the track to 117 bpm. The fast
arpeggiators meanwhile give an uptempo feel to the groove. In addition to the existing vocals they
sampled Tillmans’ vocal line ‘What we do here is a crime in most countries, but it’s not. There is no
victim. Leave us alone’ from his Triangle / Gong / What track. The line references a number of activities
and pleasures we indulge in, on a good night out.
The EP was recorded and mixed this spring/summer in Berlin, New York, and Louisiana, possibly
capturing a sense of time and place of where we are.
The record sleeve and inner sleeve were designed by Wolfgang Tillmans.

Salem Remix.

Everyone's looking for inner peace of some kind—even warmongers. As most intelligent people know, music is one of the most effective ways to achieve that blessed, blissed state. The debut album by Seattle producer Monadh (Jake Muir) offers yet more crucial aid in the war on stress. Muara is an ambient album in the purest, chillest meaning of the term. Its seven tracks are awash in aquatic signifiers and textures; each one is a rejuvenating dip in healing, icy waters. (Muara is Javanese for “estuary.”) Which isn't to say that Muara should be filed in New Age sections of record shops (not that there's anything wrong with that). Rather, what the album most resembles is the ambient output of artists like Biosphere. Loscil, and The Sight Below—musicians who uncannily make you warm to cold tones. “The way I make music is really stream of consciousness,” Muir says. “My friend calls it 'slow improv.' I happened to be watching a lot of older Japanese cinema, especially samurai stuff, from the '50s to the '70s while making the album.” Natural habitats also played a significant role, Muir notes. “My favorite music is informed by mood and place.” This deep into the 21st century, it's not easy to create ambient music that sounds vital and untainted by hackneyed tropes. Monadh succeeds in this difficult task, through a combination of his field recordings from the Pacific Northwest and meticulously chosen samples mostly lifted and pitchshifted from library records of a pastoral and romantic bent. He also cites Andrew Pekler's Sentimental Favourites and Biosphere's Shenzhou as inspirations. Right from the first track, “Ammophilia,” you can feel your tensions dissolve as Monadh coaxes a gentle whirlpool of darkblue drones with an undertow of poignant melody
swirled into the mix with utmost subtlety. “Calanque” seems to be emerging from a fathomless cave, like a palliative gas, a calming ether. It's the chillest of chillout cuts, inducing a peace beyond peace. And so it goes throughout Muara, with slight variations in intensities and moods, but overall maintaining a watery tonal float on which listeners can glide into mentally stimulating relaxation. By the time the final track
“Convection” surfaces, you feel perfectly centered... for a change.

Ing - The first release for General Purpose (GP), a record label created by Len Leise and longtime DJ partner and collaborator Salvador. Leise and Salvador neither plan to release exclusively on GP, nor promise regular releases. It's a label for when they can find the time, energy, money and, most important, the sound they believe in. Ing is about embracing change, experimentation and progression. Terrified to follow a format, Leise looked to other genres for inspiration. He turned to his love for dub, afro, post punk and experimental music to find guidance. Artists like Scientist, Jah Shaka, Savant, Adrian Sherwood and Andromeda all in their own way influence Ing.
Ing is not what you'd expect from Leise. Ing is a dub record, a post punk record, an experimental record, a balearic record, a homage record, a record with a purpose.

present two tracks from the personal archives of Peter Kremeier a.k.a. Losoul, a man who has been
rocking dancefloors and enchanting listeners with his uniquely abstract and tripped-out take on
minimal house for two decades and counting. On the A-side, “Soda Island” hangs cut-up vocal stabs
over the last word in bone-dry, bass-heavy grooves. “Sparkling Please” on the flip starts out cheerfully
but then subtly mutates into spooked insectoid psychedelia anchored by crisp percussion and bass.
Drop either of these cuts at the right moment and watch the dancers lose their minds! Mastered and
