REPRESS ALERT: UK techno stalwart Russ Gabriel has proven himself time and time again in the deeper corners of the genre, not least at the helm of the seminal Ferox label. Recent appearances for the likes of FireScope and Rawax have equally affirmed his position at the forefront of his field nearly 30 years after first emerging. The standard is no lower on this new release for Subconscious Algorithms, which kicks off with the Detroit-styled delights of "Photoa" before melting into the mellow brain food of "End Of Doubt". "Dromedary" brings some luscious acid sounds into the melodic mix, and "16 Hours" completes the set with an elegant trip through pin-prick electro for the after-hours set.

FireScope welcomes the amazingly talented Russ Gabriel aka Mr Ferox with his debut Firescope EP - The Controller. The opener and title track “Controller” twists and turns its bass line to speak to us in tongues. With no kick drum, this one is interlaced with strings and percussion and the melody of a future classic. “Drimmits” takes over the reins and is a surprising contrast with its pounding kick drum and accompanying bass groove, lush strings and an upbeat happy vibe.
Turning to the B Side “The Way To Go” leads the way. When label boss Steven Rutter heard Russ jamming with this on a FaceBook Live stream he just had to sign it. Reminiscent of some early Detroit techno, this one uses glorious pads to evolve into and epic track. Leading out we have “Nova Deep” with a nice retro feel and prominent bass line once again. This joyful uplifting track could have you dancing around or just chilling out with your headphones on.
Finished in blue and white splatter vinyl with exclusive full colour artwork as always.

To celebrate the label's 25 year anniversary Ferox brings you this three-tracker from label boss Russ Gabriel. The A side is Russ's classic "Peace For Thought" from 1993. Long overdue for a repress and one of his most treasured works, this track is a mesmerising journey of warm pads and strings. On the flip there are two brand new recordings from Russ. This release is available in grey marbled vinyl and is not available digitally.

Russ Gabriel is back for his 3rd installment on Dieb Audio and we are so excited to present his Aoyama EP, including 3 exceptional original tracks and a remix by Dieb Audio boss “John Dalagelis”. Red D’s debut album ‘Fantasize & Realize’ has been doing the rounds for a while now, to much acclaim by many of his fans and peers alike. Some of these peers have been close to Red D for decades and it seemed only fitting to let them have a go at remixing some of the album tracks.

An all star cast of Charles Webster, Kai Alcé, Far Out Radio Systems and San Soda stepped in, chose their favourite track on the album and set to work. The result is ‘Re-Fantasized & Realized’, a killer deep remix package for the ages. We can assure you that Red D himself was mightily pleased with these and we’re sure you will be too.

Things tend to move in circles until they are complete. Such is the case with WPH TEN-8. When FCL released their ‘Cherry Pie E.P.’ on Kai Alcé’s NDATL label it was already decided that Kai Alcé would find a home on WPH as well. And with his absolutely stunning string of remixes of recent years in mind it made sense to ask Kai to take up remix duties for a new FCL release.
.The result is a release that oozes soul all over. The original track is FCL’s ‘let’s make a track and have great singers aka Lady Linn and Gustaph singing about house music’-moment and Kai’s remix is…well…simply another amazing slice of soul from the man that can do no wrong. It’s house music…as you should know it.

Apart from trying to walk like an Eqyptian back in the 80’s WPH boss Red D never knew much about Egypt, let alone knew that one day he would nodding his head to dusty deep house music made by an Egyptian. Enter Adham Zahran, DJ and producer of some of the deepest grooves ever to arrive at WPH HQ.
On his debut E.P. for WPH Adham Zahran presents two pieces of divine house music that ooze soul and musicianship. ‘The Midnight Tower’ will go straight to your hips with it infectious piano hook whereas ‘Disco Infinite’ is a subtle discofied bass affair that would sit well next to classic Theo Parrish or Moodymann stuff. High praise, but just listen and you’ll know it’s well-deserved!

This one has been in the making for a loooong time and we do believe you will agree it was worth the wait. TJ Kong has been releasing some serious vocal house masterpieces over the past year on Compost and other labels of fame, so it was only a matter of time before they ended up on WPH. When it comes to vocals few do it better than Gustaph, the Belgian lead vocalist of Hercules & Love Affair and a close friend of the WPH family. Inside story: Gustaph provided non-credited (but paid) backing vocals for FCL’s ‘It’s You’ stormer. With TJ Kong Gustaph takes up the role of both lyrics writer and vocalist and does so to devastating effect in absolute perfect unison with the track provided by TJ Kong & Modular K. It’s classic but very very fresh. On the flipside TJ Kong & Modular K team up with French wonderboy Art of Tones aka Llorca for a trip into house music stabs & strings bliss. If the dream is always the same, we do hope this is the one you are re-dreaming. WPH TEN-3, niceness to the max!

And so we have decided to throw caution into the wind and embark on a new story. A story in which our artists get to tell their story by means of a full album. At the heart of Metrobox’ sound is a love for Moog, 909 and SH 101 sounds, combined with a knack for seductive melodies and a healthy dose of vocal action. Two collaborations with WPH head honcho Red D and Belgian MC champ TLP add some extra oldskool flavor to the proceedings. And yes, we are well aware of the fact that double or triple albums are heavy on your budget and that you all prefer to shell out 15 euro for a one-sided limited Detroit release instead of a 12” with three tracks you like…so this album will come in three separately available 12”s, giving you complete buyer freedom.
