Disco Bloodbath Recordings latest is the debut solo release from one of the founders and original residents of the Disco Bloodbath clubnights, Dan Beaumont - formally of production duo Jam Factory and the man behind London venues Dalston Superstore and the newly opened Dance Tunnel. ‘Reality Checkpoint’ is an atmospheric mid-tempo house chugger based around judicious use of samples and a slight dub-reggae sensibility to the groove. DJ Eddie Fowlkes created the techno genre alongside Derrick May, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson.
