A Detroit inspired bleeping techno EP. Original cut brings back the Accelerate synth bloop with modern pulse drums. Damon Wild kicks in the tight acid and Xpansul makes this a big room summer hit. Steve Parker, not being an adept of calculated biographies or narrated thoughts, continues believing that the best way of presenting him self like dj and producer will always be with his quality and huge musical background. Counting on a long career as dj his style in a dj set goes from Tech-House and into the minimal techno, with the only guarantees that above any label or musical style the sonorous quality will always be the first and only priority.

Steve Parker celebrates the launch of his MUTED Records imprint with the sounds of LSD. This package contains two mind boggling cuts of energy laden techno + two remixes by some of Parker's most appreciated peers. "LSD" is a work of high endurance that cruises along at a steady pace. Growling fx sounds are firmly placed on top of thundering drums and a squelching drone sound. "Psychedelic Therapy" showcases a more subtle side of Parker's palette. This track revolves around an acidic bass sound, chaotic arps and a soothing pads that glues the whole together. To top thing of we find Gotshell and ARKVS on remix duties. Gotshell does a gripping industrious approach of "LSD", whereas ARKVS smooth things out for their rework of "Psychedelic Therapy".

Over the last few years Steve's productions have seem him become a regular in the record boxes of the world's best. Outside of his release on Ovum, his work for labels including Quartz Music, Spark , Synewave and SCI+TEC have established him as one of the most in demand DJ/Producers of his home nation or Portugal. His deep and hypnotic sound, combining groove-heavy rhythms with a minimal-tech production style, sees Steve able to move effortlessly from sultry warm basement sounds to full on vicious arena moments. His follow up three track selection for Ovum Recordings doesn't disappoint. Having been throughly road-tested by Mr Wink, the "Sugar High" EP provides the perfect example of Parker's talent. Its been a summer of glorious House Music for Ovum Recordings, but those of you more tempted by the darker arts will be happy to find that label chief Josh Wink has chosen to heat up our winter months with a return to Techno with a label debut from Portugal's, Steve Parker.
Over the last few years Steve's productions have seem him become a regular in the record boxes of the world's best. His work for labels including Quartz Music, Harthouse, Synewave and SCI+TEC have established him as one of the most in demand DJ/Producers of his home nation.
His deep and hypnotic sound, combining groove-heavy rhythms with a minimal-tech production style, sees Steve able to move effortlessly from sultry warm basement sounds to full on vicious arena moments. His debut three track selection for Ovum Recordings sees Steve realise a dream, to release on the label that has inspired him since his youth. Having been throughly road-tested by Mr Wink, the "Escuro" EP provides the perfect example of Parker's talent. Lead cut "Interstate" is a moody relentless number. Always teetering on the edge of boiling point. "Bodytrade" sees things bubble over. A romping heads-down groove. The title track "Escuro" returns the calm with its wonderful warm depth. Its been nearly four years since Marc Romboy's last appearance on Ovum, alongside Tyree Cooper on the mighty "Lost." Today sees a return for the German as he teams up with another of the labels' new breed, KiNK. Bulgarian Strahil Velchev makes a return to Ovum for the first time since his 2010 "Rachel EP" shot him onto the scene. The success of that release and his array of productions since, have lead to KiNK becoming one of the most in demand producers of today. Equally in demand is Mr Romboy, with 2011 being yet another year of success. His and Stephan Bodzin's "Luna" album kicked off the year in style and saw the pair embark on a huge global tour. Singles and remixes for Tronic, Bedrock and 8Bit have followed as well as productions with Blake Baxter and Paris The Black Fu. Marc has also surprised many, with his superb current house rework of Terrence Parker. The "Sampletastics Vol. 1" ep sees the pair turn in three choice cuts of, as the name suggests, sample-lead House. A perfect selection of tools for the most discerning of DJ's. Take your pick!

This time is Ricardo Rodrigues AKA Industrialyzer who lands on the court of Damon Wild with three tracks perfectly aliened with the label's philosophy, Synewave has been at the service of real techno for over 20 years. It all begins with "Analogue Planet" a 130 bpm journey which rouses the dance floor whilst stimulating the mind, giving both of them no mercy. The second track, "Multiple Walls", carries the flavour of an Old School small march with a hammondesque synth which revolves around the groove from beginning to end. The atmosphere becomes dark and acid in the third and final track on this release. "Orbit X" is an emotional roller coaster which develops in different phases, everyone of which takes the listener by surprise. With this release Industrialyzer reminds us that, after all, New York, Detroit, Chicago, Berlin, Amsterdam or Lisbon don't really matter, quality techno is a global affair and Synewave consistently confirms this with releases above all schemes, movements and trends. Monumental.

David Meiser's work chosen by Dave Clarke for his top ten of 2013 and supported too by Oscar Mulero, Surgeon, Exium, Christian Wunsch, Black Asteroid, Claude Young, Ritzi Lee,... In 2014 releases a back to back work with Black Asteroid which gets remixed by Dave Clarke, becoming the first Spanish artist to get a remix from the Baron of Techno. About this EP: - "Pressure" enhances the purity of the percussion sounds, making a complex and dense track based only on the accumulation of simple rhythmic patterns. - "Zero Decibels" is the game of getting close to the maximum sonority signal 'zero decibels' by breaking the drive of the hypnotic arpeggio sounds with a distorted, and stunning bassline that reminds the meaning of the dancefloor Techno. - On the B side amazing remixes of "Zero Decibels" from Damon Wild and Peter Echoplex complete the EP. Damon sharps the hypnotic synths even more with a smart development, making a perfect version to be mixed. On his turn, Echoplex adds an incredible enveloping atmosphere that introduces the original version into a world of pure darkness and energy.

"When you finally achieve a long sought after goal, don’t think of it as you making it, but rather that it was not challenging enough to begin with". Epi Centrum is Jurek Przezdziecki, who you may be familiar with thanks to his numerous releases on labels like Cocoon, Affin and Synewave. Known for always pushing sonic boundaries, as well as seeking new sources of inspiration, he is undoubtedly one of those artists who does anything but tow the line. Raw, organic electronics, mixed with precision in execution are at the very heart of Jurek’s output and his work has thus far received praise from the likes of Depeche Mode, Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth and Damon Wild. You might be asking yourself what exactly made them like his music so much. Well, stop thinking about it and give it a listen for yourself as Jurek presents ‘Raw’ under his Epi Centrum alias on Damon Wild’s Synewave label. The aptly titled ‘Raw’ is exactly that. Its complex layering of a burly bassline, meeting a distant vocal sample amidst the electronic bleeps and beats that collide over one another creates a unique and uncompromising sound. The release also boasts first-rate remixes by two of techno’s current heroes. Function (Dave Sumner) of Downwards / Sandwell District fame turns in a dark and dappled version that’s stamped with claps and a driving beat, while LA’s Audio Injection from Droid Behaviour turns up the bass and picks up the pace for his west coast butt-shaking rendition.

ABSTRACTION is characterized by a violent analogic Kick that anyone computer may generate. Some sounds of the historic Yamaha CS 80 create a dark and industrial atmosphere. The grooves are very open. Great result for dancefloor! REACTOR is a missile, is a great techno track. A powerful analogic Kick and a new bass which has no term to be defined. Pause is a machine for people heaving fun. REBOOT is madness. Steve plays with the envelopes of an old M20 and breathes on the disc. Wild grooves characterized by vintage snare and crash. Abstractions is definitely the starting point of the new techno, defined for the first time from Steve like Nutech. The Absrtaction EP is a result of a research that is based on the elaboration and development of two concepts: The techno is music based on experimentation, and it is constantly evolving. The computer is a platform that facilitates the creation of music, but it mustn’t become a constraint, analog synths, groovebox, external processors, are complementary to the production of music. Each groove is created by Steve externally with the Korg Electribe sx and processed with analog valves. The groove packages downloaded from the internet, are currently killing the true underground music. For this reason Steve don’t use preset sounds in the tracks. The Artist is creator, not a copier. This Ep is a real rebellion against the current techno sound, in which the style is determined by the beatport top 100. The goal is to make people dance with a new techno sound NUTECH, result of creating art. For this reason the EP is called abstractions.

Hans Bouffmyhre is back on Synewave after his debut LAMBADA EP was released back in March. This remix EP features a re-work of 'Morning Tinnitus' along with 2 great remixes of 'Lambada' by label boss Damon Wild & fellow Glaswegians , BCR Boys. Hans has been on form recently with releases on Perc Trax, Harthouse, 8 Sided Dice & his own imprint, Sleaze Records. This release is another testament to the production talent coming out of Glasgow at the moment, with Hans & BCR Boys combining on one of the worlds most repected techno labels.
