Darren Roach is supreme master of his own unique electronic House fusion as he weaves his virtuosity into his forth-coming Ep vinyl only pressing 'Ionian', due to be proudly released by the end of October on Giant Records. This technically deluxe record presents an A-side original mix, written and produced by Darren, along with double remix B-sides from 'Echo Of Glory' and 'Funton' who both offer additional production to this sonically vibrant pressing.
Darren's depth of creative flair and technical finesse is wildly evident within the tracks purposeful deep, elevated groove. The composition holds an intricate dynamic depth to its pulsating core root and draws upon a clean-cut stimulating atmospheric clarity within the concise use of synthesizer. Melodic bursts intertwine and flourish in a rich and vibrant way amongst an array of intricate atmospheric key parts and crowd stomping purposeful beats. The A side Mountain Storm is nothing short of an epic, instantly recognizable future classic! Punchy, percussion laden drums set the tone upfront, before a titanic, rumbling bassline blows the doors clean off! Disorienting vocals drift in and out before an eerily familiar string arrives by special delivery directly from the State of 808, building the tension required to set the stage for the main event: a haunting, poignant and highly relevant monologue for the times we find ourselves in today, delivered by a renowned, yet uncredited Jamaican poet. B1 Get On Down takes the listener to the middle of the dancefloor, mid-set at a Techno-leaning after hours. Think Christian AB in a mischievous mood… Obscure, industrial, fizzing drums start the show, followed by a stomping yet playful bass line, hip hop vocals urging you to get busy on the floor swirl around you, before a piercing arpeggio sends the listener to the cosmos, as the track peaks. B2 Deep Sea couldn’t have a more appropriate name if it tried. A chugging, melancholy, submarine journey to the bottom of the Atlantic, presented at a lower BPM, making it equally perfect for the very beginning or very end of a set. The Brooklyn-based record store proves their record label is no one hit wonder with this outstanding release from the Crayon Records head honcho. Unmissable.

This double header pairs a heavyweight house groover on the A side with a rolling acid tech house cut on the flip. The A side is driven by commanding vocal samples and Timmy's finely tuned engineering, channeling the raw, sound-system focused energy that defined the era's most enduring club records.
On the B side, a relentless acid-fuelled roller emerges from the vaults, a secret weapon that has remained deadly on underground dance floors for more than two decades, quietly championed by those in the know.
Now, 26 years on, original copies are nearly impossible to find in clean condition with rare copies regularly changing hands for hundreds of euros on the collector's market.
Carefully restored and remastered by Yossi Amoyal, this reissue revives a long lost and highly sought after underground classic.

CHIHEI HATAKEYAMA, captivating the world with his beautiful ambient/drone works, and KEN IKEDA, an original improvisational musician radiating a unique presence. This work, both artists spent approximately ten years recording and meticulously editing down to the finest details, explores the theme of "a mental landscape where distorted dreams and crumbling daily life intersect, where anxiety and darkness seep into the cracks, and faint light flickers within the depths of silence." A total of 16 imaginative soundscapes unfold like shifting scenes in a film. The jacket design features artwork by the cutting-edge visual artist MIKA TAMORI.
