The past few years have seen Berlin’s Frag Maddin release material on Waze & Odyssey’s W&O Street Tracks, Rough Recordings and Egg London’s What Came First as well as offering up a remix on Roog & Dennis Quin’s EP for Madhouse where her returns to here for a full EP featuring remixes from fellow Berlin based acts Black Loops and Kevin Over. Taking the lead on the package is ‘The Zauberflo¨te’ with it’s skippy hi-hats, hooky organ licks, hypnotic Rhodes melodies and vocal cuts all further fuelled by a snaking sub-bass groove to create a slice of authentic house for one of the leading labels of the genre. Black Loops turns in a remix of ‘The Zauberflo¨te’ next, stripping things back to a deeper, more refined feel with spiraling, filtered elements of the original wandering around swinging 909 drums to create a groove-drive counterpart to the original. ‘Focus’ opens the latter half of the package, the second original from Frag Maddin which employs chugging square wave bass tones and dynamically evolving drums alongside tension building strings and choppy stabs before Keving Over closes the package with his gritty take on ‘Focus’, featuring crunchy drums, dusty chords and cleverly arranged string and key samples.

Dam Swindle nail 2026 as the year of House music’s glorious return with their new “Call me” EP.
2026 is the year of House music. Festivals, clubs, bars and living rooms have been craving for more warmth and soul in
electronic music and you know we’re here for it.
It’s only been a few months since we celebrated the 100th release on Heist with our ‘House of House’ compilation; a 19-track
embodiment of everything we love about house music where label heads Dam Swindle teamed up with Detroit legend DJ Minx
on their track ‘Back to the old school’. Now, landing just in time for summer, the Amsterdam duo deliver a new EP filled with
dancefloor energy across 5 original cuts and vocals courtesy of British-Bengali rapper Surya Sen.
