Michele Manzo - musician and producer who boasts international collaborations with Omar Lye-Fook,
Georgia Anne Muldrow and Declaime - is the man behind the second release of Angis Music. The EP
presents 3 different scenarios resulting from a spontaneous live session, which reflects the multiple
influences and symphonic approach of an artist with various styles. This work, inspired by the science
fiction novels of William Gibson - godfather of the cyberpunk genre - opens with the song “Burning
Chrome”, conceived as a nighttime escape taking you at lightening speed through the alleys of a city
that is galaxies away. Continuing on to the B side we have “Chiba City Park”, where the broken beat and
abstract harmonies create an ambience similar to that of those in Neuromancer. Finally, “Nebula’s
Grace” is a cosmic jam where time slowly floats away in dub echoes and disappears into the depth of
space..

Wild Oats proudly present the new EP from Kyle Hall entitled “Equanimity”. This release marks the 10 year anniversary of Wild Oats and its only fitting that we celebrate with a release from the label boss himself on tonight's full moon. Along with the engineering treatment from “Chicago's very own" (C.V.O.) deep house legend, Glenn Underground, "Equanimity" takes on a new foundational sound and assembly that inspires some philosophical thoughts below:
Katastematic Pleasure is the epicurean philosophical concept that the magnitude of pleasure reaches its limit at the removal of all pain. In a sonic sense, this connects to the idea of subtractive equalization or the removal of unpleasant frequencies i.e. taking away the part of the sound you don’t enjoy as much, in turn, leaving the pleasurable parts of the sound intact. Katestematic pleasure is about creating cleanliness and clarity in your life so that your experience is pleasurable by simply the virtue of being.
Solar/Lunar Duality: The Vinyl EP is divided into two planetary bodies. Side A — The “Solar Side” and Side B — “The Lunar” Side. The Sun's energy is one that is everlasting as long as its shining all that receives its rays will continue its growth and abundance. The Moon represents the nature of receptivity the feminine principle which captures the light energy of the sun and reflects it back and governs our physical natural cycles and tides of the waters both internally and externally. The cycles of the moon when we decide to to be attentive to its influence we start to know when to retreat when to rest , when to repair our selves and intuitively when to bloom express our vivaciousness and attract things to ourselves.

Our hope is this record adds some thoughtfulness, love and intentionality to your inner world at the beginning of this Lunar new year.
February’s birthstone is the Amethyst so we found it very synchronistic that this debut is released in February.
The Amethyst crystal guards against psychic attack and transmutes that energy into love. From The Crystal Bible by Judy Hall, she also states this valuable piece, “This stone facilitates the decision-making process,bringing in common sense and spiritual insights,and putting decisions and insights into practice. Mentally it calms and synthesizes, and aids the transmission of neural signals through the brain.”
Pure Amethyst Sonically personifies this internal shadow dance that one must participate in in order to get to a grounded and positively intentioned state of being. Wild Oats is proud to present the KMFH debut album The Boat Party. After a year of collaborative releases, Kyle Hall, under the alias KMFH, has produced a debut album; a fusion of original work, sample tracks, and raw edits. The Boat Party album artwork pokes fun at European summer boat parties and juxtaposes the destitute state of Detroit and its recent proneness to discarded luxury in financial crises. Mainly, the inability to leave and the sometimes pleasant isolation of a boat party is what the album exudes. The listener has a certain commitment to the material which definitely has its place on the dance floor. You can find tracks that have soulful, funky, and organic feels, while others have a more abstract, mechanical, and robotic sentiments. The Boat Party was carefully constructed which makes the album a cohesive mix of soulful etherealness and roughly raw sounds; KMFH's cueing into the true aspects of Detroit

The Inspiration for this EP came from a trip the two producers took to Zug Island- a polluted toxic metal factory Isle on the Detroit river between Detroit and Windsor, Canada. The Coastal Commission “On the Rocks”
Atmospheric synths with a deep rolling Dubby Bassline beckon you to the dancefloor.
The staccato 606 drum machine snare hits snap over the track before a monster kick
drum comes thumping out of the speakers.
“On the Rocks” has served as a killer intro track by many International Dj’s including
Grant Dell who recently opened with it in Los Angeles for “Sunday Sessions”.
A big tune in South America and in particular in São Paulo, Brazil it serves as a great
mood builder for Dj’s looking to captivate their audience right off the bat.
The Coastal Commission literally tuned the Arp Odyssey Bassline to shake down the
walls, ceiling and floor while making this track. Always a massive fan of Night writers
(RIP) “Push the Feeling on” Sam read an interview where they revealed that they wrote
the B-line using a Sequencial Circuits “Arp Odyssey” and that sent him on a mission to
track one down. He eventually found one covered in dust in the back of a thrift shop in
Santa Barbara for $50! (They now go for bout 3K). Excitedly Sam rushed it home to the
studio to clean it up & after some playing around the Bassline was found and the other
elements were built around that.
The track finally breaks down to a beautiful jazz trumpet with muffled voices
conversating in the background saying “Yeah that was Funky!” releasing the tension
before building the strings back up with the vocal “Come on” commanding you to keep
dancing.
“On the Rocks” is hailed as a Modern Deep House Classic by fans and definitely one
that will stay in your record box.
Jesse Outlaw feat. Jason Harris “I’m Underground”
Jesse pens another hypnotic slab of awesome West Coast dance floor tech funk
alongside Jason’s Harris on vocals.
Jason weaves his story of Underground living in the Los Angeles scene over a pounding
kick drum and scattered percussion. The haunting keys keep the listener locked in as
the dub Bassline throbs beneath the track. As the tune proceeds it hypnotizes you &
carry’s you off into a dank basement groove. Only ever on Dub plate & used on the
second PCH “Summer Sessions” mix CD this track finally gets a full release and is
remastered by Martin Iveson.

Rødhåd and Vril return with the third chapter of their ongoing collaboration, OUT OF PLACE ARTEFACTS III, released on WSNWG.
While the preceding volumes laid out the duo‘s ongoing investigation into the numinous aspects of sound and texture, this chapter can be conceived as a clearing of sonic space. The compositions appear more deliberate, their architecture more explicit. Yet beneath the surface, the familiar tension between disorder and clarity shapes the record’s structural framework.
What emerges is an album of uncanny cinematic melancholia, the traces of which were already present in the earlier volumes, now coming to full bloom. The evoked landscapes appear widescreen in scope, although the record’s feel remains oddly intimate. It is never clear whether one expands into the furthest realms of outer-space loneliness or navigates through the densest of earthly topographies.
The heightened presence of acoustic instruments and human voice expands the project’s sonic spectrum. In the convergence of the organic and the synthethic, esoteric melodies rise and vanish, as obscured rhythms break into precision, resonating motion-picture nostalgia while remaining uniquely modern and anticipatory. What we encounter is OOPA‘s true aesthetic nature: a deeply human sense of playfulness and curiosity fused with a strangely alien and otherworldly detachment.
