Squarepusher is back on Warp with Kammerkonzert - Tom Jenkinson's 16th studio album and a harmony-driven electronic "chamber concerto" structured across 14 movements, from 'K1 Advance' to 'K14 Welbeck'. Following 2024's Dostrotime - a sound-thesis on the crystallisation of time in the COVID era, frozenness expressed in breakbeats - and arriving after Warp's recent reissue of his early 'Stereotype' EP makings from 1994, here Jenkinson foregrounds the orchestra, as baroque-tinged harmonies, chamber-like arrangements and intricate interplays discourse through his trademark electronic toolkit, patience be damned despite the real instrumentation. London braingaze experimenters Seefeel return with Sol.Hz, their first full-length album in 15 years and a carrying-on of the hazy IDM that saw to their becoming one of Warp Records' most distinctive early signings. Squarepusher is back on Warp with Kammerkonzert - Tom Jenkinson's 16th studio album and a harmony-driven electronic "chamber concerto" structured across 14 movements, from 'K1 Advance' to 'K14 Welbeck'. Following 2024's Dostrotime - a sound-thesis on the crystallisation of time in the COVID era, frozenness expressed in breakbeats - and arriving after Warp's recent reissue of his early 'Stereotype' EP makings from 1994, here Jenkinson foregrounds the orchestra, as baroque-tinged harmonies, chamber-like arrangements and intricate interplays discourse through his trademark electronic toolkit, patience be damned despite the real instrumentation. This is Nala Sinephro's debut original film score, for Benny Safdie's The Smashing Machine, which was premiered at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival (to a 15min standing ovation!!) ahead of its official release on October 3rd. The Smashing Machine explores the story of legendary mixed martial arts & UFC fighter Mark Kerr, and it stars Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Academy Award nominee Emily Blunt. The score was composed, produced, arranged, mixed and mastered by Nala Sinephro, and it features performances by longstanding collaborators James Mollison, Nubya Garcia, Lyle Barton, Dwayne ‘Wonky Logic’ Kilvington, Morgan Simpson, Natcyet Wakili, Mark Mollison and Sheila Maurice-Grey. As well as the London orchestra Orchestrate, who previously provided strings for Sinephro’s 2024 critically acclaimed album, Endlessness.

A chugging, melancholy, submarine journey to the bottom of the Atlantic, presented at a lower BPM, making it equally perfect for the very beginning or very end of a set.
