"Quique" von Seefeel erschien 1993 auf dem Label Too Pure und verschmolz Elemente von Shoegaze, Ambient und elektronischer Musik zu einem innovativen und genreübergreifenden Sound. Die komplexen Texturen, pulsierenden Rhythmen und ätherischen Melodien des Albums sorgen für ein intensives Hörerlebnis, wobei Titel wie "Climactic Phase #3" und "Industrious" den bahnbrechenden Ansatz der Band verdeutlichen. Mark Cliffords aufwändige Produktion, kombiniert mit Sarah Peacocks zartem Gesang, schafft eine traumhafte Atmosphäre. "Quique" war ein Wegbereiter für die Verschmelzung von organischen und digitalen Klangwelten. Das am 28. After critically acclaimed reissues of their mid-90s material, Seefeel return with their first new music since 2011. Everything Squared is a one-off 6-track mini-album which presents a contemporary evolution of their trademark sound. Mainly composed and performed by the core duo of Mark Clifford and Sarah Peacock, with bass on two tracks from Shigeru Ishihara. Mastered by Berlin-based engineer Stefan Betke aka Pole at Scape Mastering, and designed by Ian Anderson at The Designers Republic.

Cry Sugar’ is Hudson Mohawke’s third album and deepens his practice of producing motivational music for club goers—uplifting the debauchery and inspiring many through his own brand of anthemic maximalism.
Trading in his lineage in dark UK back-alleys filled with Glaswegian antipathy for studio sessions with blazed Pavarotti-inspired tenors and drunk string quartets, Mohawke has dialed in an ongoing fascination with melding high and low culture. Placid aka Paul Wise is the operator in chief at ‘We’re Going Deep’ – an online community and record label born out of a lifelong love affair with the many shades of electronic rhythm, and an obsession for collecting records since 1988.
Up next in the We’re Going Deep label series, Paul invites seasoned US producer Kenneth Graham to the imprint. The renowned Los Angeles based House and Techno artist has been making his mark since the early 90s, delighting fans with his sunkissed production prowess.
Having made music under an impressive array of monikers such as Ashtar Afterhours, Bit Shift, Emerald City, Estelle Montenegro, Exit Strategy, First Light as well as under his own name, Graham has made his mark on hallowed imprints such as Peacefrog, Plastic City, Immigrant, Ovum and many more over the years. A welcome addition to the We’re Going Deep roster, he offers up 4 distinct flavours from across his repertoire - demonstrating why his subtle touch has chimed so well with music lovers over the decades.
Kicking off the EP with some purist Acid action, Graham opts for a raw machine made jam, melding 2-step 808 beats to the cutting wave of a TB-303 on ‘JoshRIP’ to get the party started. Accompanied by ‘Greedworx’, here he sets out his stall with angular FM bass tones set to a steady, low-slung rhythmic groove as dubby atmosphere and whispered vocals draw you in.
On the flipside, ‘Hiding from Machines’ takes the tempo up a small notch as organic percussion, twinkling keys and an emotive lead riff drift through the air. All met with a sizable bassline that can’t help but make you want to move that comes together for a purist masterclass in restraint and elegance. Last but not least, we end out on the rolling moves and IDM influenced melody of ‘Mecca’, a wavily hazy ode and fusion of Electronic house that almost meets Bleep. As the elements collide and the intensity soars, there’s nothing that feels out of place in this finely honed excursion which repeat listening brings out more and more detail.

The A side opens with two ambient pieces: "Inception," gritty and haunting, built from field recordings and layered chords, and the dreamier "Regulator Dial." "Air Lock" and "DFtB" turn breaky and low-tempo, evoking early electronica. The flip moves through "Waterproof's" downtempo electro and "Make Right," the LP's most club-ready cut. Title track "Bean Soup" channels early Four Tet: bleepy, minimal, emotional, while "Sunlight" closes with blissful, calming sounds, rounding out a beautifully balanced record.
Tudor Gheorghe, aka Romansoff, is a Bucharest DJ, producer and vinyl collector with over 13 years on the capital's underground scene. Ron Allen is a Toronto based JUNO Nominated music producer/songwriter/DJ and founder of legendary dance music label Strobe Records that was instrumental in developing the house and techno genres in Canada in the early 90’s. “Whispers” by The R.A.S.E. (Ron Allen Sound Experience), features melodic keys, dreamy vocals and a groovy, head-nod inducing bassline that sounds just as fresh now as it did when it was originally released in 1994.
Terrence Parker (“TP”) was born and raised in Detroit and has become legendary for his skillful turntablism style of playing House Music. Terrence has released more than 100 recordings on his Intangible Records & Soundworks label and various other international record labels. With lush keys, and soaring vocals, “Embrace (The Original Melody Vibe)” is one of the deeper cuts in the Intangible Records & Soundworks catalogue.
