comprised of three originals from the Greek producer and DJ.
The past year has been Bengoa unveil an array of material on his B2 Recordings imprint,
ranging through a variety of style under the umbrella of House, from deep and intricate
sounds by Peter Grummich, twitchy acid from fellow Greek artist Zak, Disco tinged
material from Lex and of course dubbed out sounds from Bengoa himself.
Here, the head honcho returns again with a fresh three-tracker, opening with title-track
‘Sun Dub’, a high octane house workout fuelled by swinging drums, choppy bass stabs,
airy dub chords and a classic Hammond organ hook line.
‘Negligence’ then opens the b-side, stripping things back to cavernous low-end pulsations
and swirling stabs atop a robust drum machine jam. ‘Physique’ then wraps up the
release on a deeper tip, bringing shimmering bell tones, a stab-led bass sequences and

B2 Recordings welcomes Greek Techno pioneer Novatek onto its roster this February with the 'Innerzone' EP. Savvas Georgiadis is a music producer from Thessaloniki, Greece and one of the pioneers of the techno scene in his country. His activities in electronic music started in 1992 and since then, Savvas, using various pseudonyms/projects, such as Dataman, Fujiyama, The Repeater, Neural Network, Interphaze and of course Novatek which he returns to here, has released music ranging from deep minimal techno to percussive tools, electro, and industrial/EBM. Here his latest offerings come via the burgeoning B2 Recordings, headed up by fellow Greek artist and DJ, Bengoa. Up first on the package is 'Beats Me', fuelled by gritty dub stabs, dynamic 909 drums, a funk-infused bass lick and sporadic vocal chants before title-cut 'Innerzone' leads things down a more 90's-tinged IDM path via offkilter drums, sweeping atmospherics and wandering electronic funk melodies. Opening the flip side is 'Outta Here', which returns to more dubbed out territories, fusing bubbling dub echoes with heavily swung organic drums, bright string lines and rumbling subs. B2 Recordings returns with a new 12’’ release from Peter Grummich, comprising
three-originals from the Berlin-based artist.
Germany’s Peter Grummich has been releasing his twist on House and Techno over the
past two decades via the likes of Shitkatapult, Kompakt, Spectral Sound, Mule Musiq
and of course his very own Innerbird. Here though we see Peter deliver his latest works
via Bengoa’s fledgling B2 Recordings, which sees him experimenting with some
outboard classics like the classic Casio RZ-1 drum machine and the Roland JX8P
synthesizer to create a raw, old school feel.
Opening the package is title-cut ‘Onions’ the ‘Lee Anderson Endless Summer Mix’, laid out
over eight minutes with hazy stab sequences, dusty drums and a chugging low-end drive
while squelching acid licks subtly work their way into the latter stages of the
composition.
‘Hello Rave’ follows next on the flip-side, bringing airy dub chords, metallic stabs and
gritty analogue percussion into the limelight for a groove-driven workout. ‘Basement
Memories’ then rounds things out, this time bringing dynamically evolving, intricate
drum patterns, resonant bleeps into focus atop and an underlying dubbed out aesthetic.

UC Beatz delivers his 'Nightzoom' EP via B2 Recordings this December, comprised of four originals from the Belgian artist. Brussels-based producer, DJ and label owner of Entrepôt Records, UC Beatz has carved out quite the reputation over the past decade and a half, dropping material on reputed imprints such as New York's Razor N Tape, Cinthie's Collective Cuts, Derrick Carter and Luke Solomon's The Classic Music Company amongst others. Roma techno legend Marco Passarani dusts off his Studiomaster moniker to present a selection of vibey dancefloor burners on 12” vinyl brimming with energy and packed with 303 squelch, thumping drums, moody synths and perfectly-placed vocal cuts. Marco took the Studiomaster name from his Studiomaster P7 console, which he runs his in-the-box mixes through, to bring extra dirt and character to his tracks. The Studiomaster alias first appeared on the Passarani Bandcamp page just as summer began in 2023. The newly built B.K.S. studio space was running smoothly, and the machines have been buzzing ever since, as Marco fires off vital, futuristic, acid-drenched club tracks, under pseudonyms like Passarani 2099, Analog Fingerprints, and Kids of Rotten Future. In contrast to an internet full of streaming files and AI generated artworks, the Studiomaster brand brings the look and feel of rare 12” white label promos, minimal on design and information.
The tracks here are collected on vinyl for the first time, “They represent proper studio jam sessions,” says Marco “meant to be performed in the club.
