B2 Recordings returns this June with a fresh 3-track EP from the Spanish deep house maestro Manuel Costela.

The owner of Bucketround joins the B2 Recordings family with all original deep house material of outstanding quality. The record kicks of with "Unpleasant Dreams" - a top notch deep house groover with classy, deep leaning aesthetics. Robust drums, wandering subs, airy, circling synth lines and vocals flow throughout the groove to create a rolling, hypnotic groove.

On the flip, "I Feel It Coming" comes with dance floor crunchy drums, bumpy bass and floating vocal chants, while "Inner Journey" round things up with wandering stabs, laying focus on deep analogue bass lines and loosely shuffling, jazz tinged drums.

B2 Recordings welcomes Greek Techno pioneer Novatek onto its roster this February with the 'Innerzone' EP. Savvas Georgiadis is a music producer from Thessaloniki, Greece and one of the pioneers of the techno scene in his country. His activities in electronic music started in 1992 and since then, Savvas, using various pseudonyms/projects, such as Dataman, Fujiyama, The Repeater, Neural Network, Interphaze and of course Novatek which he returns to here, has released music ranging from deep minimal techno to percussive tools, electro, and industrial/EBM. Here his latest offerings come via the burgeoning B2 Recordings, headed up by fellow Greek artist and DJ, Bengoa. Up first on the package is 'Beats Me', fuelled by gritty dub stabs, dynamic 909 drums, a funk-infused bass lick and sporadic vocal chants before title-cut 'Innerzone' leads things down a more 90's-tinged IDM path via offkilter drums, sweeping atmospherics and wandering electronic funk melodies. Opening the flip side is 'Outta Here', which returns to more dubbed out territories, fusing bubbling dub echoes with heavily swung organic drums, bright string lines and rumbling subs. 'White Crash' then rounds out the release on a deep house tip, bringing airy pad swells and shimmering piano keys into the limelight alongside resonant synth sequence and bumpy drums.

Long time dj and musician Bengoa, is getting things started by launching his brand new platform, B2 Recordings, as a mean to manage his own multifaceted creations, as well as focusing on favorite outputs around the globe. After his Blind Stitch Records imprint, that only put out two EPs and one album, the Greek artist decided to put everything under one roof, thus B2 Recordings was born, kicking things off quite in style, with this GRANDE remix EP.. "What You Give" is the title of Bengoa's first album from the not too distant 2014, which is now remixed by two legends of the house / deep house scene. On the draw side, one of the most important heads in dance music around the world, mr Larry Heard, has picked "Eye Talk" and delivered two amazing versions of the original track, featuring vocals by Brothers' Vibe! The American producer, remixer, vocalist and dj, has been successfully around now for 35 years, creating his own musical world, and that's where he is taking us with his remixes on this ep, floating between acid baselines and deep underground chords.. On the flip, Spanish deep house maestro and owner of Deep Explorer Music, Dubbyman, delivers a superb, straight-for-the-floor version of Bengoa's "The Touch". His unique style of mixing electronic music with jazzy chords and spherical grooves, works flawlessly with the spoken vocals on this track, perfectly showcasing Dubbyman's raw talent as a musician. The B2 Recordings imprint was launched in late 2019 by Athens based producer and
DJ Bengoa, the project revisited two tracks from his 2014 release debut album ‘What
You Give’. ‘Eye Talk’, which features vocals from Brothers Vibe was treated to two
remixes from House music pioneer Larry Heard, while ‘The Touch’ was remixed by
Deep Explorer founder, Dubbyman. This classy, deep leaning aesthetic perfectly set
the tone for B2 Recordings and what will follow.
Here we see Bengoa move things forward with a three-track EP of all original material
following a five-year hiatus. Title-cut ‘Forest Law’ takes the lead with robust, organic
percussion at its core while wandering subs, airy, circling synth lines and vocal chants
ebb and flow throughout the groove to create a rolling, hypnotic groove.
‘A Little More’ opens the flip-side next, embracing a dub leaning feel with choppy stab
echoes, crunchy drums and bumpy bass hits before ‘Corponation’ rounds out the
release, laying focus on expansive voice murmurs, airy atmospherics and an acid
tinged bass hook alongside loosely shuffling, jazz tinged drums.

B2 Recordings returns with a new 12’’ release from Peter Grummich, comprising
three-originals from the Berlin-based artist.
Germany’s Peter Grummich has been releasing his twist on House and Techno over the
past two decades via the likes of Shitkatapult, Kompakt, Spectral Sound, Mule Musiq
and of course his very own Innerbird. Here though we see Peter deliver his latest works
via Bengoa’s fledgling B2 Recordings, which sees him experimenting with some
outboard classics like the classic Casio RZ-1 drum machine and the Roland JX8P
synthesizer to create a raw, old school feel.
Opening the package is title-cut ‘Onions’ the ‘Lee Anderson Endless Summer Mix’, laid out
over eight minutes with hazy stab sequences, dusty drums and a chugging low-end drive
while squelching acid licks subtly work their way into the latter stages of the
composition.
‘Hello Rave’ follows next on the flip-side, bringing airy dub chords, metallic stabs and
gritty analogue percussion into the limelight for a groove-driven workout. ‘Basement
Memories’ then rounds things out, this time bringing dynamically evolving, intricate
drum patterns, resonant bleeps into focus atop and an underlying dubbed out aesthetic.

B2 Recordings delivers its fifth release this April, entitled 'Players Paradise' and coming courtesy of Greek producer Lex. Athens, Greece based producer and DJ Alex Andrikopoulos aka Lex has been a key figure in the underground electronic music scene of his home turf, founding the now defunct Radical Soundz record store, running numerous events in the country and also the imprint Quantinzed Music. Here we see him deliver his latest work under his Lex guise via fellow Greek imprint B2 Recordings. Lex - Players Paradise EP - B2 Recordings Inflyte April 2nd, 2021 08:47 Title-cut 'Players Paradise' leads, a ten minute journey through popping organic percussion, snaking funkinfused bass lines and an amalgamation of bright piano chords, wandering resonant leads and cinematic strings. Following is 'Just Realised', embracing a similarly organic aesthetic via swinging natural drums, a walking jazztinged bass line and intricately intertwined, keys, strings and synth licks throughout. B2 Recordings founder Bengoa returns to the label this July with his ‘Sun Dub’ EP,
comprised of three originals from the Greek producer and DJ.
The past year has been Bengoa unveil an array of material on his B2 Recordings imprint,
ranging through a variety of style under the umbrella of House, from deep and intricate
sounds by Peter Grummich, twitchy acid from fellow Greek artist Zak, Disco tinged
material from Lex and of course dubbed out sounds from Bengoa himself.
Here, the head honcho returns again with a fresh three-tracker, opening with title-track
‘Sun Dub’, a high octane house workout fuelled by swinging drums, choppy bass stabs,
airy dub chords and a classic Hammond organ hook line.
‘Negligence’ then opens the b-side, stripping things back to cavernous low-end pulsations
and swirling stabs atop a robust drum machine jam. ‘Physique’ then wraps up the
release on a deeper tip, bringing shimmering bell tones, a stab-led bass sequences and
murky vocal chants into the forefront, while skippy drum hits and modulating hats
carry the subtly nuanced, hypnotic groove.

Collecting analogue gear from the age of 15, Zaq's output has influences from dub to italo, early 80s and 90s drum machines, ambient, reggae and acid house - his debut on B2 recordings is a personal statement and the start of many great things that are about to follow from the young artist.'' 'Body Waves' leads on the release, a tripped out dub infused cut drive by evolving ethereal atmospheres, echoing synth stabs and off-kilter drums. UC Beatz delivers his 'Nightzoom' EP via B2 Recordings this December, comprised of four originals from the Belgian artist. Brussels-based producer, DJ and label owner of Entrepôt Records, UC Beatz has carved out quite the reputation over the past decade and a half, dropping material on reputed imprints such as New York's Razor N Tape, Cinthie's Collective Cuts, Derrick Carter and Luke Solomon's The Classic Music Company amongst others. Here he joins the B2 Recordings roster with his latest collection of works and title-cut 'Nightzoom' leads, laying down organic drums, hypnotic chants and circling synth strings to create a subtly blooming, loop-led groove. 'Saraska' follows and strips things back to choppy acid bass, swinging 707 drums, vocal shots and an amalgamation of airy resonant keys. Opening the flip-side is 'The Girl Who Loved Flowers', employing classic deep house tropes with fluttery Rhodes chords, tension building strings, snaking bass and crunchy drums throughout. Lastly 'Stars Keep Shining' then rounds out the release, leaning towards a more jazzy house aesthetic courtesy of intricately nuanced key melodies, warm subs, shuffled drums and winding Moog like synth licks.
