Monocode seeks the root code of techno with the release of the EP Solitude by Kaiser.
Two original tracks hit the ground running to the beat of a mechanical war drum, aggressive and determined: today's Spartans charging into the night. The title track "Solitude" storms into a dark basement of flashing strobes and lasers. "Another Platform" is a cavalry charge at full gallop. The smooth roll of the beat maintains the pressure as you put miles onto your sneakers against the rave's concrete floor.
Two remixes continue the charge at their own pace. The first is a bouncier beat stripped of its heavy bass, punctuated by cymbals and classic hand claps to lighten the mood. The last track on the EP might at first seem like you could catch your breath, but it's only swinging around to flank the beat from a more angular direction.

An EP pumped with tight minimalism, sampled, groovy techno. From end-to-end it's paced with a teasing sort of reserve and sleek progression that works equally well on the dancefloor or headphones. It's a funky, slippery and sophisticated ride into the centre of the modern dance floor and highly recommended to those that know. Opening with 'Heilung', Fables showcases his knowledge of track building through subtlety and restraint. It's one that ebbs and flows, snakes and seduces with a tensile, minimalist groove control. A2 'Krava' is a massive TIP - simply very tasty, hard-to-resist techno. Here the artist smudges all sharp contours for a more dubbed, swinging groove. Note well the breathed vocal which adds to an impeccable layered construction, creating a lovely puzzle of tempos. On with the flip, 'Blumen' maintains a moderate, laid-back flare while diving deeper into sensorial displays through gritty textures and sporadic bleeps. A DJ tool with all the frills trimmed for streamlined mixing potential. Kayak is an EP entirely dedicated to highlighting rhythmic compositions and their subsequent effect on the body. A1introduces a multitude of metallic layers, from a consistent ringing tone on the background to the coming and going of highly clanging rides- yet, maintaining pounding low ends. Get2definitely hits the hardgroove shelf of your collection.
Second in comes Delta which extends the tribal edge of its predecessor, adding a layer of sensuality and seduction. Engineering a thoughtful interplay between suavity and strength, this track is guaranteed to do the do. Big room killer.
Time to flip the vinyl now, and well... Fasten your seatbelts dear listeners and dancers. B1 is fun and dynamic, minimalistic and most importantly, powerful. In between the fuel efficient percussions and drum patterns comes in a witty snippeted vocal, which adds to building up the exquisitely constructed rhythmic tension of the track. Timeless techno from a timeless artist. Italian veteran Antonio De Angelis steps up on KEY Vinyl serving quality material through an EP built out of classic cuts - never disappointing our thirst for excellence.

De Angelis opens the records with a full burst of energy. A1 is proper loopy peak time material, constituted by a rhythmic crescendo of elements and a blend of trimmed funky vocals. This one will make you smile. With 'Black Lights' the energy shifts to a more eccentric, dark place. A2 focuses all around on the creation of an atmosphere- a moment charged with intensity and hypnotism. The chubby lows and the absence of bold high sleave plenty of space for incredibly overlapped bleepy layers and textures.

For the flip side, 'Delta 1' proposes a continuation of the bleepy direction of its former. A sinister, aggressive temper but with a softened, almost melancholic essence. Its pulsating kick drumsare tempting, paired with more dramatic analogue synth effectsand old-school aura- let's call it modern space-age drama. B2 then concludes the sonic journey with a positive charm, almost acting as the light at the end of the tunnel. Producer and live artist Dold jumps into KEY Vinyl with fibrillating, fully charged rollers. With a potently effective gear on both sides, the Swedish artist proposes a cluster of proper loopy peak time material.

Welcoming us into the Dold realm is Loop 1, serving some big room shunts and non-invasive waterfalls of bleeps. Shakers step in to round up the atmosphere and shortly after, hats come through guiding us on track with the rhythm. Loop 2 heads into orbit powered by a macabre atmosphere and heavy pendulous bassline- a KEY trademark.

And then comes the flip side... Oh the flip side... Here we are launched into a void of hypnotic repetition and mind-bending, deep brain stimulators. In the midst of plangent sonic devices, B1's groove appears more
reserved as quivering synth tones pirouette between labyrinthine, metallic whirrs. Yet, the undulating bass locks our
feet in a pacing, rhythmic spiral. With Loop 3 the mind is allowed to float into abstracted, mystical soundscapes as the body is coaxed into the rumbles of the low ends. B2 closes off the ride with a joyful, dubbed out Detroit funk. Panned arpeggios fill the room with positivity- it will be impossible not to smile.

Fast, nervous, incisive. With Rebecca Delle Piane, you really can't go wrong. Class 98', Fondi born and Terracina based Italian artist joins the KEY crew with an unmistakable four tracker EP.

"Creatures of the night" takes our hand into a paranoid and distorted bleepy delirium. Everything is unnerving. A harsh, almost discordant mixture where the title clearly renders the idea of its content.

A2 "Personal Prison", softens down the confusion and guides the listener a bit deeper into the rabbithole... The atmosphere is ominous. Kickdrums are round and steady while crisp, subtle hats fill all the blank 4x4 spots. Seething strings play with odd bells, all rounded off by a rolling, groovy, beat.

Up next goes "La Vita Di Allora", which in italian translates 'the life of back then'- a sentimental title which reminisces an undefined past or moment. The first element which stands out of the composition is a thick, vibrating bassline, which blends in with distorted snippets of the vocal. Definitely a dancefloor weapon for the high momentums... And for sweat.

Last but not least, B2 concludes the release by developing the bleepy madness into a more grounding cut. A smooth grain delay provides texture to the hi's, while toms take your attention to the low frequencies once again. A general sound which will make you feel a different kind of energy. Sinister and cavernous, with a high dose of adrenaline rush. A continuation of KEY's exploration of the abysses of horror-based sonic narrations.

Mischievous, sci-fi oriented, yet groovy and grounding sounds. And so it goes: "Ocular Optics" initiates the tour by offering a more laid-back, tooly cadence. Common thread between all tracks, A1 introduces a bleepy arp sequence adding dimension to the strong percussive elements. A punchy kick drum and snippets of a vocal top the whole off- one for layering. "Global Agreement" slightly changes the emotional gear to a more sinister, obscure energy. Powerful low frequencies merge with fluent pads and mysterious bleeps creating a very special ambience- tip.

Legendary French DJ and producer The Hacker debuts on Radio Slave’s Rekids with the ‘Laser & Smoke’ EP on 21st February 2025. The two-track ‘Laser & Smoke’ EP harkens back to The Hacker’s early 90s roots in Detroit-inspired Electro & Techno. First, he starts with ‘Turborave’, a tasteful, bleepy cut with an unignorable bassline and muted dub chords that wash over its snappy groove. ‘Turborave’ is the kind of heads-down, lose-yourself dance?oor moment for the later hours before ‘Harmonia’ sees The Hacker play with high-voltage cables on the B-side. Charged-up zaps and zippy acid call and respond while bodied drum hits keep the rhythm moving, whistles and pads occasionally joining in. Pioneering DJ and producer The Hacker is renowned for being a leading proponent of Electroclash in the early 2000s, his Techno and EBM-infused sound, and iconic collaborations with Miss Kittin. With releases on labels like Dark Entries, Mannequin Records, and Turbo, as well as remixes for Air, Soft Cell, Dave Clarke, and Front 242, The Hacker remains a vital force in electronic music. He now adds Radio Slave’s Rekids to his extensive discography for the ?rst time via the ‘Laser & Smoke EP. Radio Slave’s Rekids was founded in 2006 and has since spawned successful o?shoots with the Techno-focused Rekids Special Projects in 2017 and its newest sublabel, REK’D, in 2024. With Matt Edwards as the sole A&R, Rekids has been crucial in developing early artist careers and has become a haven for established acts operating in House and adjacent genres, having recently featured the likes of Harry Romero, Hilit Kolet, William Kiss, Bushwacka, Mathias Kaden, Tiger Stripes, Tal Fussman, and many more.
