combine the energy of Wura Sambas yoruba drumming and chants with jacking raw analogue live electronic, live sampling and processing by Gebrüder Teichmann. Together they create an energetic trip full of playfullness, improvisation and direct comunication in order to dance.
The Nigerian percussionist and singer Wura Samba and Berlins electronic multitalents Gebrüder Teichmann met in Lagos, Nigeria through the TEN CITIES Project, where they were producing music together with Pinch, Rob Smith and Perera Elsewhere. After their debut on Soundway Records (V.A. - Ten Cities) and the "2 Cities / Berlin - Lagos" EP on NOLAND they have started performing as a trio right before the pandemic. Their new EP GUDUGUDU features two keytracks of their live sets: Iba Eledua by Wura Samba and an interpetation of Eniyan Bi Aparo by Tunji Oyelano.

Quickly finding fans in the likes of Elton John, Celeste, Paul Weller, Benji B, and Gilles Peterson, the band should soon find plenty more on a record that could soundtrack a David Lynch epic such is its drama and suspenseful, late-night orchestral ruminations. Capped by Lusk’s voice, a weapon that swoops through the octaves breathlessly, Gabriels have that rare ability to make you re-evaluate music, and what it can do, in a heartbeat.
Whilst Lusk provides the wow factor with that ridiculous larynx, Gabriels are very much a close-knit trio. Producer, keyboardist (and full-time video director) Ryan Hope hails from Sunderland but calls LA home. Fellow producer-composer and violinist Ari Balouzian, a man with endless musical projects on the go at any one time, gives Gabriels’ songs a real ‘feel’ to them.
Sultry, soulful mood music certainly isn’t the band’s modus operandi, with debut track If Love & Hate In A Different Time having originally identified Gabriels as a loose-limbed, soul-stirring funk and gospel-flecked odyssey. Bolina Records, born in Italy and based in Stockholm, is the brainchild of the Cerrado Studio crew, a dynamic team of artists and DJs who have been organizing events and innovative initiatives since 2008.
Veteran DJ-producer Sebra Cruz (formerly of Margot and A&R for Bolina Records), after releasing his debut album with Life And Death by Dj Tennis, has teamed up with his protégé, Giacomo Cancellieri. Over the years, Cancellieri has become one of Sebra's favorite artists, with Sebra often describing him as a truly brilliant mind, consistently impressed by the new tracks he produces. Giacomo has notable releases on Rebellion and Margot Records.
"Rollerball," titled after Norman Jewison's 1975 film, carries a powerful anti-war message. It includes 4 versions plus an acapella, the latter intended to encourage DJ-producers of various genres to incorporate it in their tracks, thereby spreading the anti-war message on dance floors worldwide.
The original mix captures the essence of intimate club settings — intense yet lucid, with a sound texture fitting for an underground label. It continuously and forcefully spreads the anti-war message with deep seriousness.
The Funky Vocal Mix offers an Italo-French vibe, blending the smooth ambiance of 2000s dance music with a raw vocal tone.
Buck's version, hailing from Otranto, a quaint seaside town in the extreme south of Italy and owner of Substrato label, is marked by solid, rolling grooves that complement a deep and refined atmosphere.
Delphi's remix, one half of Tiger And Woods with Marco Passarani, completes the set. Its arrangement skillfully connects Chill and Detroit styles, infusing the project with a sense of robustness and insight.

Exploring many themes including loss, grief, ancestry, culture, belonging/not belonging and identity. It's no coincidence that Bolis Pupul's music sounds the way it does. Born in Belgium to a Chinese mother and Belgian father and raised in the super-cool creative city of Ghent, Bolis' music is a joyous cross-cultural assemblage. Mixing widescreen electronica with the warm-hearted and wonky naivete of Belgian New Beat, Bolis' singular sonics are at once playful, emotive, unrelenting and tender. The real key to unlocking Bolis' musical secret, however, is that conversation he has between his Eastern and Western roots. The creation of the album is built around Bolis' trip to Hong Kong earlier this year, made to reconnect with his late mother's roots.

"Candidasa" and "Wespennest" are the result of DJ Kozes inspiring stay in a secluded Benedictine monastery on the enchanting island of Sulawesi. Amidst this idyllic setting, he found the perfect environment to unleash his musical vision. He composed all of the music of "Candidasa" while lying on his stomach, in an act of deepest devotion and self-reflection. In doing so, he fed exclusively on so-called heroin kebabs to immerse himself in a trance-like state of creative flow. The result is a soundscape of unimagined depth and beauty that enchants the senses and transports listeners to another dimension by massively increasing the frequency of flicker fusion.
On "Wespennest” the wonderful Sophia Kennedy takes the stage and breathes a new dimension into the music with her impactful lyrics and vocals. With generous dedication, Sophia has provided exclusive excerpts of her yet unreleased songs, giving this track a radiant psychedelic power. Alien Rave sets out to get inside your head, introducing evocative and epic mental moments that give way to energetic tunnels built on a solid rhythmic foundation carefully designed to withstand elegant ultrasonic bass frequencies. For electro-break fans, this record could be seen as a journey which originated in the German-inspired Florida scene before eventually finding its way back to Spain. It's funny how Florida, home to some of the most robotic and extraterrestrial electro-break music, is also one of the hot spots of the global UFO phenomenon. Coincidence? Fango’s debut EP for Running Back draws a map of the Italian’s wonderful world of sounds. To help music journalists in their ongoing search for new genres, it’s a planet that consist of techno punk, ebm house and outsider disco.
Fed by the unbroken fascination with all things dinosaurs (no pun intended) that Fango shared with his son, reading books, watching documentaries and visiting museums, he found a new place and created a sound for it. If you have ever looked for a danceable soundtrack that resembles strange dinosaurs, dark clouds, active volcanoes and powerful winds, you have finally found it. Aptly named after four different dinosaurs, this Ep consists of the irresistible uplifting vibe that is Sarcosuco and its sweet and melancholic counterpart Diplodoco, while the slow-motion rave Dimetrodonte and Gastonia mirror Fango’s darker and tool-like character. Fango’s debut EP for Running Back draws a map of the Italian’s wonderful world of sounds. To help music journalists in their ongoing search for new genres, it’s a planet that consist of techno punk, ebm house and outsider disco.
Fed by the unbroken fascination with all things dinosaurs (no pun intended) that Fango shared with his son, reading books, watching documentaries and visiting museums, he found a new place and created a sound for it. If you have ever looked for a danceable soundtrack that resembles strange dinosaurs, dark clouds, active volcanoes and powerful winds, you have finally found it. Aptly named after four different dinosaurs, this Ep consists of the irresistible uplifting vibe that is Sarcosuco and its sweet and melancholic counterpart Diplodoco, while the slow-motion rave Dimetrodonte and Gastonia mirror Fango’s darker and tool-like character.
