Powel returns to All Day I Dream to release his newest celestial sonic masterpiece, the Piano Reeves EP. Enter the ethereal sonic realm of Paul Chriske, the German musical maestro known as Powel, who specializes in “creating harmonious illusions of sound.” Powel is a longtime family member of Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream imprint, having first released on the label in 2015. Releasing his four track Piano Reeves EP on May 19, Powel returns to All Day I Dream to release his first record with the label since his The Beauty of a Polaroid album in 2020. A pianist since youth, Powel's extensive experiences from a lifetime of performing with bands and orchestras has imbued his music with depth and complexity. Finding inspiration in the people and places he encounters on his travels, Powel draws from a vast and nuanced musical palette. Piano Reeves epitomizes Powel's unique touch as a producer, weaving together warm celestial vibes, airy atmospheres, and delicate rhythms.

Powel aka Paul Christie is a Berlin based DJ/Producer, and a relatively fresh name on the underground house circuit. Christie has previously released material with some exciting new labels, namely, Berlin-based label Keller, Wunderbar Recordings and Deliciuse, here he joins the FINA roster, well and truly putting him on the map, and slotting in alongside Move D, Cottam and Leif. Title track ‘Cloud City’ opens the single here, an ethereal deep house number featuring an amalgamation of cosseting synth tones, understated, organic drums and intricate, blooming melodies.This is a stunning opener for the EP and a clear-cut sign that Powel has a deep-seated knowledge for sculpting heartfelt house music. Up next is ‘Falling In A Black Hole’, which sees Powel take a more reserved approach and minimal sentiment, opting for sparse drums, emotive chord progressions and smooth pad lines. On the B-Side of the release, first up we have ‘I’m Talking Quietly’, Powel drops the tempo down to create a chuggy, disco inflected feel. Throwing in loose, organic percussion for an authentic nu-disco feel, while piano chords, heavily delayed strings and sax licks further fuel the musicality, adding a further charm and character to the record. Then up last to close things is ‘Getting Out’, embracing a similar slo-mo, low-slung aesthetic to the preceding track, yet introducing a gritty electronic bass hook and analogue style synth lines this time to create a brilliantly contrasting track, and rounding off a stellar package full of understated, intelligent electronic music.

Natalie Beridze is a Georgian artists, composer and songwriter, in Georgia she is considered to be pioneer of Georgian electronic music. Beridze has been releasing music since 2003 on record labels such as: Max.E; Monika Enterprise; CMYK; Laboratory Instict; Chainmusic and CES Records. She has collaborated with artists such as Thomas Brinkmann, AGF, Gudrun Gut, Joerg Follert, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Nikakoi and Gacha Bakradze. Compiled of 7 tracks "Spines" is a perfect album to hear on a perfect soundsystem in the club. In Natalie's words "Spines" resembles her recollection of driving on the backseat of a car, looking at ever changing lanscape flying by. Her endless source of inspiration is "Strata-A georgraphic fiction" by Robert Smithson and John Ruskin's "Frondes Agrestes".

The next drop on Livity Sound is the first collaboration from long-time label mainstays Hodge and Simo Cell. True to the styles the artists have individually marked out since first appearing on Livity Sound circa 2014-15, LIVITY050 presents fiercely imaginative, upfront club music across a spectrum of tempos.

The supple, fluid approach to electronic music the two producers are separately known for feeds into a cohesive partnership, whether they're turning their hand to dancehall-inspired, sub-100BPM heavy hitters or jagged, technicolour half-step tapestries.

Livity Sound is a label set up by Peverelist in 2011 as a vehicle for a raw and exploratory strain of UK techno, rooted in the heritage of UK dance music and sound system culture. It has since become one of the UK's foremost protagonists for cutting edge underground electronic music.

Anané’s Take A Ride EP was produced by Two Soul Fusion, aka Louie Vega and Josh Milan, all with live string arrangements courtesy of the Apple Hill String Quartet and conducted by Leroy Burgess. The recording dives from the effortless heights of Punk Disco (Let Me Be Your Fantasy, High) into the swirling eddies of Jazz Funk (Coffy Is The Color) before climbing back out into the languorous arms of Italo-Disco (Tutto Previsto). Strings across the production were The EP is held together in its entirety by the dreamy, sumptuous vocal of its creator Anané, who considers her top line one vital part of the instrumental whole. “I am art,” Anané reflects carefully, “for I am the music as much as I am the singer. Creation means to crawl into the unseen of my own dreams and becoming the beast of my vision, singing to the world as I go by.”

Hessle Audio welcomes Toumba to the label with the four track EP 'Petals'. Based in Amman, Jordan, Toumba explores Levantine microtonality, rhythms, play styles and timbres across the record. Lead track 'Istibtan' is a twist on a typical Jordanian wedding song with deep subs providing the foundations, while 'Petals' rides on the heavy swing which is unique to music from the south of Jordan. On the flip side, 'Hazzeh' deconstructs Dabkeh, while the EP is rounded off with 'Identity Crisis' which is four minutes of lilting melodies all in Maqam Rast but played in an untraditional way. Toumba is a producer, DJ and sound designer and is a curator at MNFA, a club and arts space in Jordan's capital Amman. A nationally respected artist, Toumba also holds a residency at the MMAG Foundation. The foundation works with a selection of the most gifted artists in the Levant, providing a space for artistic research, production and critical discourse.
