On the first EP, Amsterdam-based keyboardist and producer Soul Supreme delivers a masterful cover version featuring live instrumentation, programmed beats, and fresh vocals. It is a beautiful tribute that honours the original while evolving the track from its sample-based roots into a full-scale production. The EP features two takes: a Jazz-Funk infused original and a Samba/Bossa-inspired version ('Follow My Samba').

GAMM is proud to welcome New Zealand born, but these days based in Berlin, Philippa to our camp.
Over the last years, Philippa has been releasing amazing, warm, soulful, and highly distinctive dance music on labels like Slothboogie and Freerange as well as building her DJ roster. For her premier GAMM release,'Cloud Walking EP', Philippa has three amazing tracks that all mix up samples, live musicality, and vocals. If you put Moodymann and Henrik Schwarz in a blender somewhere in the Balearic Islands, you're kinda close. Either way, it's deep, organic, and almost kinda orchestral at some points. If you ask us, we would simply call it dance MUSIC.
Opening the EP is the title track 'Cloud Walking' which is a deep Fender Rhodes affair with vocals inspired by Aretha's Day Dreaming classic. Moving on, on 'Hear Me' Philippa shows off her musical piano skills with a lush and atmospheric deep house jam. On 'Return To The Red Kite' we follow a similar theme but with big warm orchestral strings, spoken words, and live guitars. Again, very Balearic yet very soulful and incredibly pleasant to your ears :)

Opening the EP is the title track 'Cloud Walking' which is a deep Fender Rhodes affair with vocals inspired by Aretha's Day Dreaming classic. Moving on, on 'Hear Me' Philippa shows off her musical piano skills with a lush and atmospheric deep house jam. On 'Return To The Red Kite' we follow a similar theme but with big warm orchestral strings, spoken words, and live guitars. Again, very Balearic yet very soulful and incredibly pleasant to your ears :)

Heads up, we got a hot premiere on GAMM from Chicago's finest Emmaculate and Basement Boys legend DJ Spen !
The story behind this release goes something like this...
Our buddy and GAMM contributor Coflo spins at a dope house party, drops the A side 'Step Into A Black Whole' and the club literally explodes when the track hits the massive hip hop breakdown (KRS!) and returns and transforms into a jazzy Afrobeat house stomper. It's an +11 min long musical journey going from house to hip hop to Disco-Afrobeat. The GAMM representative in the house "feels it" and asks Coflo who's behind the tune, and after a few months, the connection is made with Emmaculate and DJ Spen to secure the release for GAMM.
A few weeks later, Emmaculate delivers a second track, 'Boogie On Disco Woman', which is a killer Funk/Disco/Soul rework with raw drums, nasty clavinets and soulful female vocals.
This could easily have been the feature track, but lands on the B side this time.

The original, the second release on the label Harthouse at the time, is an all-time classic and went down in the music history of Frankfurt. Thirty years later, the track by Sven Väth and A.C. Boutsen has not lost its shine and will certainly continue to provide goosebump moments.
Techno is all too often described as timeless but while most of it eventually evaporates into the ether, there are some riffs, melodies, and breakdowns that remain etched into our collective consciousness forever. Legendary Frankfurt label Harthouse is home to more than its fair share of such moments, but you must go all the way back to 1992, the opening strains of the Metal Master classic ‘Spectrum’ to locate the source for this special single-sided remix release.
The common denominator and catalyst to all this is of course Sven Väth, co-creator of ‘Spectrum’ and founder of both Harthouse and Cocoon Recordings, while the independent variables in the equation are Bart Skils and Weska, who lend their considerable talent and vision to this sublime makeover.
Coming on like rolling thunder, sparks fly immediately as crackling vocoder licks, silky ride cymbals and soaring arpeggios build an atmosphere taut with anticipation before giving way to that iconic melody - a love letter from Frankfurt to Ibiza, wrought from metal, drenched in distortion yet pulling at the heartstrings - the perfect soundtrack to any chemical sunrise.
It‘s a powerful re-interpretation that pays the warmest respects to the original and, despite the relentless groove, there is still room for sentimentality - an invitation to momentarily pause for thought and reflect on the journey so far as the sumptuous breakdown washes over the dance-floor. But not for long, the simmering bass line soon emerges from the euphoria and the track kicks in again, driving us forward towards a new, uncharted spectrum of possibilities.

Continuing his exploration into the world of sound design, one of dance music’s most respected contemporary producers, Enrico Sangiuliano, announces the next conceptual study in NINETOZERO’s transient reality. The forthcoming opus welcomes the irrefutable talents of Charlotte de Witte, marking the pair’s second collaboration to date and the third release in the label’s countdown. The 3-track “Reflection” EP is available to pre-order now and will be live across all streaming platforms on March 17th. A luminary of musical storytelling, Enrico’s NINETOZERO saga has seen the Emilia native explore the affinity between sound, time and space, all while presenting an alternative perspective on his palette as a producer. Now illustrating their understanding of ‘Reflection’ within noise and composition, Enrico and Charlotte analyse the rebounding of sound waves between different mediums. Tethered to their roots within the Techno community, the title track and its format present as DJ-oriented, marrying de Witte’s stripped-down sensibilities with Enrico’s flair for rapturous apex moments. Italian techno sensation Alignment is back with a fifth EP Close Your Eyes on Charlotte de Witte’s KNTXT label out on Friday 31st March. Close Your Eyes is four tracks of thrilling all-out industrial assault from the Barcelona-based artist. Title track ‘Close Your Eyes’ rips into a slamming turbo-charged beat accompanied by metal textures and warehouse atmospherics. Next up, ‘Deep Space’ is pure evocative melodrama, riding on a wave of ghostly vocals and piercing synth stabs. ‘Dance For Me’ ups the ante with a trance-tinged roller underscored by slamming bass, before ‘Fight For A New World’ closes out the EP with an epic journey to euphoria. “I really thought of the Close Your Eyes EP as a travel in my current dreams and maybe a bit of my nightmares as well.” Alignment explains. “For this EP, I tried to combine the “original” Alignment influences with a touch of the new hard techno sounds.” Charlotte de Witte adds: “Alignment is back, and his 5th release on the label is an absolute killer! But as Virginie (her real name) is a steady name of tue Toy Tonics crew now and plays almost every weekend at one of the worldwide Toy Tonics Jams it makes sense to put out a follow up fast.
Gee Lane originally from Caracas now in Barcelona is a passionate DJ and vinyl digger with an extraordinary positive energy and attitude. A DJ diva in a positive way. A unique personality with a very strong style (in music but also as a person) and very elaborated ability to read and play with the dancers. Like the first EP also this one was recorded in Barcelona and Berlin with a little help by Robin Braum from Athlete Whippet. The music reflects well her roots and passion for everything what came out from New York’s dance culture. You can hear influences from the 80‘ promo disco scenes as well as the 1990 Body & Soul/ Francois Kervorkian / Joe Claussell universe. In fact Gee Lane after being raised in Caracas and musically educated by her father from a very early age, (a composer and musician) she moved to New York at a very young age in the late 90's where she fell in love with the HOUSE scene. And especially everything that happened at the famous and influential ’Body & Soul’ club.
This culture increased her curiosity to become a DJ (and vinyl digger herself) who is not just interested in house music but wants to explore other genres such as funk, Hip-Hop, jazz and Latin sounds and include these vibes into her DJ sets. A vinyl collector (and long time record shop employee) since then, she is known for her musical eclecticism that leads her to mix everything what she wants ...
Gee Lane now is a steady member of the Toy Tonics Krew and is already playing the Toy Tonics Jams all around Europe.
