The St. David Jam trilogy is complete! Once again, the Italian producer plunges into the depths of his music mine, chisels out a few rough gems, and polishes them off until the glinting diamonds beneath are exposed. As advertised, this EP is disco through and through. “Sexy Funk '98” is a slinky shuffler that gets the engine running and “I Got the Music” is a schmaltzy twirler that settles the party squarely under the mirror ball. The reverse is both more feisty and laid back. It starts with “Where U Move,” a lighter number with a hint of tropical rhythms and beachy sunniness. With “The Connection,” the 12-inch comes to a joyous conclusion; the sampled crowd cheers and jeers sound like a dance floor begging for an encore at the end of a long night. More

Wrapping up the summer with a bit of a 90s throwback number by St. David, ?Fools Jam?. The EP opens with the the titual track, a crunchy, crisp deep house burner, and moves on, with “Night Lovers,” into speedier, smoother floor-filling fodder that’s all wiggling, weaving pads and synth leads. The B is a little gentler and more contemplative, but no less melodious; “Dream It (Emphasi Mix)” is a playful yet gauzy piano-led tune that serenades the listener, and “La Luna (Spiritual Dub)” is a tranquil ditty that serenely glides off into the distance. A calming, mellow conclusion to a particularly emotive 12-inch. More

Edoardo Florio Di Grazia is a singer-songwriter from the Amalfi Coast, born in Florence and living in Paris. After moving to Paris he began collaborating with the French producer Bruno Hovart "Patchworks", here working under his "Voilaaa" alias. Together, they created "Indossare Il Mare", a hymn to the return to one's origins, characterized by a fresh and Mediterranean sound. Love Letters is the debut album of urban singer-songwriter Raffaella Zago. The first album of the Paduan-born, Milan-based artist contains ten tracks influenced by soul, jazz, funk and hip hop that deal repeatedly with the theme of love. In 2023, Raffaella Zago quickly attracted attention with her first official song, a nu-soul reinterpretation of "Money Trees", a song by the most praised rapper of the last decade, Kendrick Lamar, for which she composed a new melody. The other pieces of "Love Letters", in which she addresses people who have been or are part of her life, reaffirm her vocal, writing and composing skills. More

SHAFTY was a house music project made in Italy by Andrea Gemolotto and Ralf. They both can be considered two pioneers of the early italo house scene, Gemolotto already made a big hit in 1989, “Sueno Latino”, and he also won the italian DMC Championship as Cutmaster-G. Antonio Ferrari, aka Dj Ralf, has been a nightclubbing icon for almost 30 years. Since 1987 he has remained a key element of the Italian house music scene, taking his signature style to clubs all over Europe and the world. “Deep Inside (Of You)” was the first release on Heartbeat catalogue (1991), and it's now officially repressed by Groovin Recordings (all tracks have also been remastered)
