The longest break in the history of electronic dance music is behind us. So - couldn't we expect the
heaviest drop? The big discharge, when the bass kicks in again, under the heat of the sun, with dust
on your tongue?
For almost two years there was hardly a beat to be heard. Celebration was the watchword, while
swaying in livestreams, the ice cubes cracked along longingly in the living room. But now, in the
summer of 2022, it's clear the big eruption won't happen at all. It will go on like this. Yet time has
raised questions: For example, what can the bass drum tell us? And how political can escapism still
be?
RSS Disco, masters of the radiant "everything-may-nothing-must” sound, like hardly any other DJ and
producer team, have found the answers that contemporary electronic music may need. With their
new album, the Hamburg disco house trio unveil the blanks in so-called club culture - and celebrate
precisely these. "Mooncake" seems like a summons, a quiet but sustained curl of the index finger.
But it doesn't play with the audience, it lets the audience play.New Release Information
Throughout their work, the three musicians have dedicated themselves to well-informed, escapist
dance music. RSS perform sharp and sensitive in any surrounding - between Ibiza and the
self-governing hippie commune. They have released limited vinyl on their label Mireia Records, have
been on the road a lot, always with a head full of music.
Now the cache has been flushed. Their debut album holds eleven tracks full of vastness, full of
possibilities. A classic artist album in the tried and true RSS Disco style, a psychedelic exploring
mad stream from the pulse of the world. 80s wave, house, sweat-pop can be heard. Readymades
with cut up vocal snippets and sunshine loops on cold clang, spaced pads and beach synths.
Their pieces offer references, but they don't have to be called upon to have an effect. They work the
way electronic music has to work these days: against different backgrounds, because as a listener,
you have to add something to it. Music for the sofa is today also for the dancefloor and vice versa.
Because where do people actually stand musically right now? The thread must be picked up again
and RSS Disco pull at all ends. Never limiting the space that electronic dance music keeps free to
fill.
The album is accompanied by remixes from: Prins Thomas, Johanna Knutsson, Rigopolar, Keshavara,
Pose Dia, Johannes Klingebiel, Julian Stetter, Magic Jams, Some Chemistry & Skygirl More

“Beautiful, beautiful. Magnificent desolation.”

Now that the world has come to a standstill please let us guide your attention
towards this special 12”. Round and ever-turning like the moon, it rests on the record

Exuberant, yet melancholic at the same time.
RSS Disco have created a psychedelic, blissful jam that moves currents & constantly
changes shape. Meandering voices inhabit the sphere, a pumping bassline secures
the foundation. The warp core is frail at this power level but seems to be holding up.
Frequencies unravel, the bridge heats up. This must be fairy dust made of moon

On the dark side of the moon, we find ?Aera (Permanent Vacation, Innervisions) ?with

B2 Come Out
Introducing Skygirl, with their 4-track debut release.
Skygirl is Eva and Hanna. The two got together by chance, but definitely not
by accident. After they were introduced at a festival through mutual friends
and danced the night away, it became clear that both have musical
ambitions and their artistic vision aligns. The band was formed before the
hangover was gone, and songs were written before the weekend ended.
The kind of “after-party-Monday-mood” also functions as an entry to the
band’s lyrical and musical cosmos. Rest assured, this is not your mundane
headache, but rather a working class meets art school kind of philosophical
approach. Sparse instrumentation meets two voices. Life-affirming, yet
informed by a somber future.
Reference points may be groups like Young Marble Giants or Shakespears
Sister. Brittle but strong voices, molded by urban decay. More

Release Info
Volker.live ’s debut and final release
“My Love Will Set You Free”
Final release? We see the question mark popping up over your head. Well yes, these four tracks are a
time capsule, a historic cache which takes you back to one hot summer of 2019. When this care-free
boy band formed and made it their goal to climb up the world’s stages to play an all-hardware live set
& have f.u.n. while doing so. This endeavor went swimmingly. Festival gigs were pocketed and
crowds intrigued. The stand-out track of their gigs was always “My Love Will Set You Free”, an
acid-house stomper with uplifting, yet melancholic vocals from their friend ÆN.
Friends and neighbors were quick to re-interpret the song and the idea of a record took shape.
Lehult’s Lucky Charmz propels the listener into the void by upping the acidity. Closing in on a
playtime of 10 minutes, we’re readily giving up our sense for time and space. Whirring drum hits
meet feedbacking tape delay while riding the rock solid bass line.
Erobique liked the song so much, he quickly drew up two versions of his own. His “Disko Mix” oozes
that saccharine, danceable magic mélange of days past. Warm keys, hand claps, and Aen’s intimate
voice are stirred into an exquisite cocktail. You know that Carsten Meyer would never forget the
umbrella on top. He’ll keep the cherry though.
The “Black Velvet Mix” closes the curtains for a slow dance. This is personal, it’s just between you
and the song. Sub rosa.
In the meantime, Volker.live decided to follow separate paths of their adventure, but everyone
agreed to release these songs into the world. May they serve as a reminder of what can be created
out of care-free energy that’s driven by a deep connection to music. Please check out their other
musical undertakings as Echoel and Goodmemory.live . More

Special remarks:
12"hand stamped labels,limited edition of 300
Mireia Records is ecstatic to welcome Casino Times
with “Rush/Kawai” plus three captivating remixes by
Conga Fever, Rigopolar and Filburt.
Tracklist
A1 - RUSH (6:59)
A2 - KAWAI (7:07)
B1 - KAWAI (Conga Fever’s Belgian Fries Remix) (6:52)
B2 - KAWAI (Rigopolar Remix) (7:18)
B3 - RUSH (Filburt Remix) (6:34)
Casino Times? aka Nicholas Church and Joseph Spencer
from London have been betting against the house for
close to 10 years already, winning big with releases on
Wolf Music, Needwant, Omena and their own Casino
Edits label. The pair also hosts the radio Show “What’s
My Derivative?” on Bloop Radio.
Since Mireia Record’s big cheeses RSS Disco have been keen to gamble with the Time’s
music, routinely lighting up dancefloors with it, a loose connection and mutual admiration
formed over the years and eventually lead to this fine record here.
RUSH & KAWAI
Casino Times demonstrate their cunning yet natural and flowing sound with two originals:
“Rush” and “Kawai”. Both tracks are a proper trip of its own, psychedelic pinball machines
that’ll catapult you to the further edges of the known sphere.
An arpeggiated melody line leads the “Rush”, while a rock solid foundation of hard hitting
drums keep you steady. The melody filters into acidic fringes and a strange voice guides the
traveler to the core of this outer-body experience.
By intertwining a pulsating E-Bass with sharp percussions and a brazen guitar chords,
“Kawai” steers the travels even further out of world’s reach. A whole ensemble of sirens and
vocal fragments warn of imminent rapture. After this, it’ll be hard to return to the mundane.New Release Information
KAWAI (Conga Fever’s Belgian Fries Remix)
Leading the string of three remixes is Mireia’s Conga Fever. Known by now for impeccable
and inspired productions he might just have outdone himself again with this interpretation
of “Kawai”.
Taking cues from Belgian New Beat while sounding unconditionally modern at the same
time, Conga Fever has crafted a bona fide festival anthem. After confidently building up
tension and taking his time in the breakdown, the remix manages to release an incredible
amount of energy. We’ve seen people out of their minds and literally stage dive to this one.
KAWAI (Rigopolar Remix)
A new face and dream cast to the label: Rigopolar aka Menio Brown. The Brooklyn-based
producer and DJ has been on our radar for some years with a string of captivating releases
for Tom Tom Disco, Nazca Records and an upcoming EP on Duro. Especially “Sun Of
Lemuria’s” hypnotic brittleness turned our heads.
Adding a new high point to his repertoire, Rigopolar’s take on “Kawai” is an expansive, dark
journey into the void. Powerful lasers and strobe lights appear to lead the way, emergency
broadcast voices beckon the dancers to the floor. The clobbering bassline and twitching
melody help to reach previously unseen heights.
RUSH (Filburt Remix)
Working his signature slow-burn magic on his remix of “Rush” is Filburt. More than happy to
welcome him back to the label. The O*RS label head, DJ and producer is responsible for
some of our favorite material in the past and does not disappoint with this remix either.
Lush pad sounds oppose salient drumming, slowly tightening the atmosphere while a robotic
voice evokes a melancholic mood. The whole night’s rooted on this fervid bassline and it’ll
carry you into next Monday More

Julian Stetter - Sensual (Matt Karmil Remix)
Special remarks:
12"hand stamped labels,
limited edition of 300
TTracklist
A1 - Sensual
A2 - Rumors
B1 - Rumors (SONNS Remix)
B2 - Sensual (Matt Karmil Remix)
Hamburg-based Mireia Records is ecstatic to
announce their thirteenth release: Julian
Stetter’s “Sensual EP”.
You’ve probably crossed paths with Julian in the
last couple of years. Not only because he’s the
tallest guy in Cologne, but the producer and DJ
has been actively shaping modern dance music
with his flourishing, melancholic sound. He’s
been releasing music with Permanent Vacation,
Kompakt, Correspondent and hometown labels
Ancient Future Now and PNN.
It’s also not his first time on Mireia Records. Remember the beautiful “Porto” on “We’ll Sea
Pt.1?” Here, Julian presents two original tracks which are reinterpreted by SONNS and Matt
Karmil.
The title track “ Sensual ” manages to erase the mundane, the world’s vanishing around you.
It’s pitched shaker and airy bells evoke introspective tones. The bassline on the other hand
keep you steady - the dancefloor is still visible through the clouds!
“ Rumors ” picks up the pace. Kick drum and syncopated hi-hats set the stage for a serious
bassline, interwoven with fleeting melodies.
Bright and euphoric brushstrokes from Julian’s synth elevate the pace and catapult the track
towards a crescendo. Booming snares signal the peak.
New Release Information
Strobe lights, sweat and ecstasy.
SONNS opens up the B side with the first remix by whispering “ Rumors ” in your ear. A
brooding bass line takes you on a trip to the dark corners of the city. Hypnotically chugging
toms highlight the sights. Let’s get lost tonight!
With his releases on Kompakt and strong DJ Sets SONNS’ been a long time favored entrant
into Mireia Record’s catalogue.
Matt Karmil’s version of 'Sensual', although on B2 of the vinyl, doesn’t hide its assets.
Kicking off with frantic high hats and a distorted glitch, he pushes the track forwards
intriguingly. Arpeggiated melodies layered supremely over the percussion drive the track
forwards, the simplicity of the track and sharp cuts and drops create an interesting dynamic
to the single creating a perfect juxtapose to the other tracks on the release.
Matt’s also been on Mireia’s radar for a long time. His atmospheric adventures for Studio
Barnhus, Smalltown Supersound or Beats in Space always convey a spirit of living, breathing
leeway.

Mireia Record’s tenth release “ZEHN” shakes all of your fingers (and your toes).
A split EP between two strong musically-minded, production-savvy and DJ-versed outfits: PIN UP CLUB and CONGA FEVER. Tactful yet euphoric remixes by Lauer, Jacob Korn and RSS Disco refine the record further.
Tracklist
A1 Pin Up Club - Dilapidated
A2 Pin Up Club - Dilapidated
(Lauer Remix)
A3 Pin Up Club - Dilapidated
(RSS Disco Remix)
B1 Conga Fever - Chihuahua
B2 Conga Fever - Chihuahua
(Jacob Korn Remix)
Opening the record are PIN UP CLUB with “ Dilapidated ”
The band was approached enthusiastically by Mireia Records’ label heads RSS DISCO last year after
listening to their first record “Friends Of The Vortex” on Bordello A Parigi and seeing their live show
on a dutch festival. Everyone was on the same page (of the book about Italo Disco’s legacy) quickly,
music was exchanged, and the fruits of this likeminded partnership can finally be heard out loud.
“Dilapidated” takes you from a state of pondering into the spiral of a fever’s dream and back.
Melancholic pads are balanced with an infectious bassline on the foundation of hard-hitting drums.
Two remixes deconstruct the original track for different parts of the night on the dancefloor:
LAUER (Running Back, Permanent Vacation) recruits cow-bells, sirens and ... power to his arsenal and
thereby shoots the song towards the sweaty ceiling of your neighborhoods basement rave. His knack
for melodies and euphoria is widely known but he really manages to knock you out of the park with
this one.
RSS DISCO channel the original track in to a psychedelic journey with a distinctive Italo feeling. A
frayed lead melody interwoven with moist Oberheim chords and backed up by old-schoolish drums
and a classic arpeggiated Juno Bassline ignite neon lights and incense at the same time.
On the flipside CONGA FEVER is bopping you deep into the thicket, accompanied by his “ Chihuahua ”.
Whirring synths, striding drums, and a bassline heavy as the setting sun make up this groover.
The song feels moody and balearic, accentuated with strings in an arabian tuning, yet it’s decidedly
FUN and danceable.
Conga Fever, who already had a solo EP and a contribution to the “ We’ll Sea ” series on Mireia
Records, impresses with music that sounds effortlessly thick and interwoven - surely achieved by
playing all instruments himself and a keen ear on every frequency.
The remixer of this side is Jacob Korn (Uncanny Valley) who jokingly referred to his mix as the
“teutonic approach”. The incense has burned out, making space for a new-beat-esque groove,
reflecting the cold neon. The bassline and chords still flutter playfully but make no mistake, it’s a
straight call to the dancefloor. More

Short info
Sun's out! We'll Sea Pt.3 is here on bright, yellow-marbled vinyl.
This edition brings us five tracks that'll leave you behind tanned.
The A Side introduces Cornchild, a new nom de guerre by an established maestro of the low notes. While being a longtime neighborhood friend of Mireia Records in Hamburg, he's a world travelling, record making factotum with releases on house music's finest like Giegling, Retreat and Delusions of Grandeur.
Here he reinvents fragments of his record collection into entirely new pieces. Caught somewhere between soulful housefunk and japanese sci-fi soundtrack.
The flipside brings together two of the dustiest fingers from the south and east:
LeRoy from Munich, known for his loose style between Kraut, sampling and psychedelics becomes "Like One". Elevating vocal snippets, warm-as-a-dog's-nose bassline and delayed fuzz guitars bring an early summer to your technics.
Filburt from Leipzig, Don of O*rs and well-versed producer in his own right
hypnotizes and slowly layers "Take it back" into infinity. Happy to see him again on Mireia Records after five years!

A1 - V, A2 - Forever Yours, B1 - Intro, B2 - Nightlife, B3 - Scars
Short info
Welcome to Nightlife. Johannes Klingebiel's debut on RSS Disco's Mireia Records.
An atmospheric journey. Melancholic, yet euphoria-inducing.
Johannes' five tracks cast their shadows into the darkness, mirroring patches of light that can be found if you wander out far enough.
It's simultaneously the soundtrack of sweaty dancers losing their sense of time and place and the hopeful feeling of a new day during a drive into the first light in the hazy morning hours.
Johannes is a studied drummer. He released music on labels like Mule Musiq, Ancient Future Now and Feines Tier. He's also one half of Alma & Mater and travels constantly with the bands C.A.R. and Vimes. Oh and he's a great DJ as well. He probably never sleeps. That's how he manages to capture the magic of Nightlife.
The vinyl comes in a screen printed sleeve with hand stamped labels and is limited to 300 pieces.

Blue Vinyl!
Peggy Gou has ascended from underground sensation to global icon by sticking to her own unwavering vision, becoming one of the most in-demand electronic musicians and DJs in the world. Having performed to over a million people worldwide in 2023, the self-managed South Korean-born, Berlin-based producer and artist has blazed her own trail as the first Korean DJ to play Berghain, the first female DJ to headline Ushuaïa Ibiza, and the first woman in over 20 years to appear within the Top 10 of DJ Mag’s annual Top 100 list.
Since 2016, she’s forged a singular blend of club music that’s as forward-thinking as it is nostalgic, finding her global breakthrough with 2018’s Once EP, which birthed hits like “It Makes You Forget (Itgehane),” and “Han Jan.” An essential tastemaker, she runs her music and design label Gudu, through which she issued her 2019 critically acclaimed Moment EP, designs her Kirin and Peggy Goods fashion lines, and sold out her own London Pleasure Gardens festival for four consecutive years. 2024 will see her biggest ever headline London show when she performs to 25,000 people in August
She’s collaborated with everyone from house legend Maurice Fulton (2020’s “Jigoo”) to South Korean counterculture hero OHHYUK (2021’s “Nabi”), and was enlisted for a 2022 remix of Kylie Minogue’s iconic “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.” Referred to as “the world’s hippest DJ” by The Guardian, Gou has graced the cover of Vogue Germany, Vanity Fair Italia, GQ Middle East and Korea, Harper’s Bazaar Malaysia, and others, while boasting collaborations with Louis Vuitton, Hyundai, Ray Ban, Samsung, and Authentic Beauty Concept.
She made 2023’s international song of the summer with “(It Goes Like) Nanana,” which topped singles charts in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Greece, as well as the Billboard Dance Airplay chart. The balmy club hit appears on her highly anticipated debut album I Hear You, which arrives in June on XL Recordings. Also featuring her Lenny Kravitz collaboration “I Believe in Love Again,” the LP sees Gou boldly claiming her voice through the kaleidoscopic lens of ‘90s house music. More

Today sees Belgian-Caribbean provocateur Charlotte Adigéry and her long-term musical partner, Bolis Pupul announce their debut album Topical Dancer, due for release on March 4 2022 via Soulwax’s iconic label DEEWEE.
Cultural appropriation. Misogyny and racism. Social media vanity. Post-colonialism and political correctness. These are not talking points that you’d ordinarily hear on the dancefloor but Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul are ripping up the rulebook with their debut album Topical Dancer. The Ghent-based duo, who broke out with their 2019 Zandoli EP, are rare storytellers in electronic music: they take the temperature of the time and funnel them into their playful synth concoctions – never didactic and always with a knowing wink.
Their debut studio record – which cements them as a duo under both their names for the first time and is co-written and co-produced by Soulwax – is both a triumph of kaleidoscopic electro-pop and “a snapshot of how we think about pop culture in the 2020s.” It captures Charlotte and Bolis’s essence as musical collaborators and the conversations they’ve had over the past two years on tour, as well as their perspectives as Belgians with an immigrant background, Charlotte with Guadeloupean and French-Martinique ancestry and Bolis being of Chinese descent.
Beyond the album’s thematic heft, Topical Dancer reflects Charlotte and Bolis’s idiosyncratic sound: it’s thoughtful but it bangs. Their take on familiar genres is always off-kilter; songs sound undone or a little wonky; but these are nocturnal heaters to make the club throb. “We like to fuck things up a bit,” laughs Bolis. “We cringe when we feel like we're making something that already exists, so we're always looking for things to combine to make it sound not like a pop song, not like an R&B song, not a techno song. We’re always putting different worlds together. Charlotte and I get bored when things get too predictable.”
Topical Dancer is fizzing with ideas – there’s certainly no filler among its 13 tracks. But above all, perhaps, it has a restlessness, a desire not to be boxed in and to escape others’ narrow perceptions of who they are. It’s summarised by the refrain of their new single, ‘Blenda’: “Don’t sound like what I look like / Don’t look like what I sound like.” “One thing that always comes up,” says Bolis, “is that people perceive me as the producer, and Charlotte as just a singer. Or that being a Black artist means you should be making ‘urban’ music. Those kinds of boxes don’t feel good to us.”
‘Blenda’ in particular references how “I am a product of colonialism,” says Charlotte, “and I feel guilty for taking up space in a white country.” The song was inspired in part by Reni Eddo-Lodge’s book Why I’m Not Longer Talking To White People About Race. “It talks about the colonial past and post-colonial present in the UK,” Charlotte continues, “but that isn’t merely a British or American problem, Belgium is part of that as well.” She says that her home country is likewise “oblivious to a big part of its history” which “results in general ignorance and a lack of understanding and empathy towards Belgian inhabitants of immigrant descent.”
On Topical Dancer, it’s less about finger pointing or being dogmatic about all the things they speak about. It’s about emancipation through humour. “I don’t want to feel this heaviness on me,” says Charlotte. “These aren’t my crosses to bear. Topical Dancer is my way of freeing myself of these issues. And of having fun.”

Short Info
Everything has its right moment in space and time. And Rhode & Brown’s debut album “Everything in Motion” is no exception to this rule.
But first things first:
Hailing from Munich, Germany, Friedrich Trede and Stephan Braun are the DJ and producer duo Rhode & Brown. Growing up in two neighbouring villages near Munich both of them had been music enthusiasts since their early childhood. Friedrich played drums in punk bands at school and recorded rap songs in his bedroom, while Stephan, as childhood friend of Harold Faltermeyer's son, had the chance to experiment in the impressive studio of the legendary Donna Summer producer in his early teens.
By the late 2000s older friends started supplying them with DJ mixtapes and helped them sneak into clubs they weren’t allowed to visit, yet – cultivating their love for electronic music and club culture. And, of course, the Internet was their go-to source for finding the latest blog house tunes back then, too.
It wasn’t until October 2009 that their paths would cross for the very first (but almost last) time when introduced by a mutual friend: Back then Stephan was selling his old CDJ-player and Friedrich, who wanted to hone his DJ skills, ended up buying it: „When I got home and unpacked the player I realized that it was the wrong model. I thought Stephan was trying to rip me off - so I called him in a rage and demanded my money back.“ Friedrich laughs. To cut a long story short, the two met again the same evening, money and CD-players were exchanged, but luckily so was their passion for house and disco music. It was at that very moment that Rhode & Brown was born.
A lot has happened since the two played their first gigs together and made baby steps in music production. In the past 10 years they established themselves as one of the most reliable house producers around with rock solid releases on Toy Tonics, Shall Not Fade, Public Possession or their own Slam City Jams imprint. As well as becoming a household name in the DJ world, sharing the booth with the likes of Palms Trax, Dam Swindle, Jamie Tiller or Octo Octa - spreading their infectious "Dancing Deejays" vibes around the globe.
Following the great reception of last years „Aku Aku“ EP, June 2021 will see the release of Rhode & Brown’s debut album on Permanent Vacation. A record that showcases their open minded approach to making music and a passion for the nuances between genres - „We found inspiration for this album in all corners of our record collection. That means we are as much influenced by disco or 80s synth-pop as by house and techno of the last decades or the latest viral trap hit on Spotify“, the guys say.
On "Everything In Motion" you'll hear piano house / Italo disco hybrids alongside dreamy Balearic soundscapes and '90s-infused acid breakbeats flawlessly accompanying '80s synth pop anthems. Always infused with that signature Rhode & Brown magic. The album also finds them collaborating with some of the finest vocalists of the moment: Peaking Lights' own Indra Dunis is lending her voice to the title track for this special laid back California vibe, while Berlin's hottest export DJ City evokes a neon light romance affair on "Memory Palace", with a longing poem that makes you wander the rainy streets at night with your walkman on.
At a time when suddenly everything seems to be standing still, Rhode & Brown undeterred moving forward... true to their LP’s title.

The now legendary New York DJ used to be resident at Studio 54 and other legendary NYC venues of the 1970ies and 1980ies. One of his are remix works was for the Gomma rcords band The KDMS. Release Info:
Label bosses Dam Swindle dive into the label back catalog and compile 2 special edition releases of classics to celebrate 10 years of
Heist Recordings.
Founded in 2013, Heist Recordings has quickly become a go-to house label, giving rise to a vibrant scene of groove aficionados and all things
deep house. Now in the label’s 10th year, Dam Swindle take a moment to reflect on the great tracks that have come out over the years with 2
limited edition compilations of classics.
On this first compilation, the duo starts with the track that helped the label burst onto the scene: Their instant classic ‘The break up’. With its
vintage vocals, Rhodes chops and instantly recognizable bell loop, it’s easy to understand why so many people are still in love with this track. It’s
only fitting that this anniversary release for Heist goes back to where it all started.
The second track on the compilation is from the legendary Detroit outfit Scan 7: Their 2020 track ‘The Best is yet come’ from Heist’s 50th release.
The appearance of Scan 7 on the label turned quite some heads at the time, but in fact, it made total sense. The mutual love for house, key
grooves and that classic Detroit vibe brought Scan 7 and Dam Swindle together and the result was an amazing release full of Midwest electronic
funk.
On the flip, we’ve got Dutch duo Fouk with their first hit on the label ‘Kill Frenzy’, which kickstarted the rise of their signature sound back in 2014.
The release ends with 2 extremely catchy and strong house releases by Demuir and Adryiano. Demuir’s vocal cut ‘Werq. Feel. Gruv. Vogue’. is
one of the highlights in Demuir’s catalog and a showcase of the producer’s knack for sampling and writing a house groove. Adryiano’s piano
house track ‘Me and you and her’ is a perfect ending to this first compilation, showing us that great house music can be as simple as repeating
something over and over and over, until that groove is all you hear.
The vinyl release of Heist Classics vol. 01 is printed on clear 180 grams heavyweight vinyl and is limited to 1000 records with a special design by
our Art Director Bas Koopmans (Wellness.)
Yours Sincerely,
Maarten & Lars More

Short info:
1999…after the global supremacy of Oasis and Blur, the world is looking for some musical freshness. Some artists such as Daft Punk and Air have already contributed to globally popularise what the English called the "French Touch", a new term that refers to a large musical French movement.
The first album of Cassius is one of the key pieces of this growing genre, and demonstrates once again the variety of the trend. Indeed, after have cooperated for a long time with MC Solaar, one of France's 90's best rappers, the hip-hop influence of both Cassius members had to have an impact on their personal concept, and it did seduce a lot of listeners hungry for new musical flavours: more than 250 000 units sold worldwide and numerous unconditional fans…Before the release of their new album Ibifornia coming out this summer, we're taking you back to basics with a new release of Cassius' first album, for the ones who didn't have the opportunity to hear it, or for those who only have the CD, and would like to get themselves the vinyl edition !

Repeat Orchestra - Monks In A Club (04:48 min)
GENRE/S: House, Deep House
TRACKLIST:
A. Superpitcher – Monks In The Sky (10:03 min)
B. Repeat Orchestra – Monks In A Club (04:48 min)
SHORT INFO:
"Monks In A Club" from the Repeat Orchestras album "Infamous Lost Tracks" is a perfect example of elegant dancefloor understatement, smooth, minimalistic and groovy as hell; no wonder that Superpitcher got thrilled and created not a remix but his own track inspired by Repeat Orchestra, reworking the essence of "Monks In A Club". And Superpitcher did what only Superpitcher can: "Monks In The Sky" is an epic ride, expanding, stretching, ebbing and flowing, ten minutes of levitating groove hypnosis that goes in depth. Fascinating.
