We Are The Brave hit their 100th release courtesy of label founder, DJ/producer Alan Fitzpatrick, with ‘Aura/
Distance’, two heavy originals and a pair of remixes from Luke Slater’s legendary Planetary Assault Systems
alias and Truncate label alumni Klint. Founded in 2016, Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave has released music
from the likes of Sasha, Rebuke, and Skream, as well as remixes from Anfisa Letyago, Reinier Zonneveld,
and Dense & Pika, regularly providing mind-bending techno cuts sculpted for dancefloors and warehouses
worldwide.
Leading the release ‘Aura’ brings strong drums paired with futuristic bleeps, creating a tense and gripping
journey. ‘Distance’ brings a dose of high energy with hypnotic and electronic synths, set to get your feet
stomping. Giving Fitzpatrick’s tune an even more futuristic feel, the iconic British DJ/producer Planetary
Assault Systems adds eerie chimes and shimmering synth flutters on his remix of ‘Aura’. Joining him is Klint,
who brings high-speed drum arrangements for his interpretation of ‘Distance’, topping off a huge release for

Vienna-based producer and 303 maestro Tin Man returns to Acid Test for his first solo EP for the label in over 5 years. It's another impeccable outing of romantic acid variations, especially tailored for unforgettable dancefloor revelations.

Tin Man has been setting the pace for forward-looking acid lovers for close to two decades now, and on his 15th Acid Test appearance he takes the vibe back to early and proto-house roots, stripping back the musical elements while layering in the euphoria with four perfectly crafted slices of feelgood 303.

Opening track Hidden Acid already sounds like a long lost classic, with strings draped over bouncy acid and motorik drums, stretching out over nearly nine minutes, and beautifully capturing the feel of house music circa 1991. Swaying Acid comes in all propulsive, toms and congas setting the foundation for melodic acid lines to weave through your heart strings.

On the B Side, Running Acid is fully optimized for the autobahn fast lane - a gradual, slow-filtered acid meltdown that builds and releases in tandem with driving hats and vaporous pads that hang over the track like early morning mists. Wrapped Up Acid brings the EP to a fitting close, slowing the tempo for a low-key easy dance excursion par excellence - smooth yet spikey 303 riffs punctuate the chords that drift through with a hint of Badalamenti in the progression.

With the Hidden Acid EP Tin Man might hark back to more vintage times, but the emotive power is as strong as ever. The naivety of the ‘90s is instead replaced with a conviction behind the musical choices that brings even more weight to the heartwarming vibes. LL1220 is here, an overdue first release in 2019. 2019 is also about celebrating 5 years of Lossless. For the occasion we’ve decided to return to the dancefloors with the 3rd installment of our Outbound series. Outbound.3 again is a collection of exclusives by the labels core artists, spiced up with some hot additional contributions from befriended artists.
This 2x12“ beautifully showcases a bit of our musical universe.

Neil Flynn is kicking things off with his track „Trá“. This deep, percussive affair featuring the unique voice of Katie Kim, showing off Neil’s trademark touch once again - celtic trippiness that sucks you in immediately. Then we move „8 Floors Up“ - testament of some fruitful studio sessions held by label boss Mathias Schober and the South African duo Atelier - formed by Jas Miszewski and Alexander Inggs - in the headhoncho’s Berlin studio. It’s a wonderful song, perfectly balanced between underground electronica and pop music only in the best sense of course.

Flip record one and put the needle on it’s our dear friend Ian Pooley delivering the goods with „Durmitor“ – a truly epic and future-meets-past kinda piece, sitting on a rock solid and bottom heavy groove. This track took our hearts by storm. We also felt a strong urge representing with a new SBTH track and so we have the deep and percussive „Planet Greg“ next up – one (of many) musical perspectives we have on modern, afro inspired house music with a little leftfield twist.

Side C we have Frankey & Sandrino with „Kuma“ – a funky melodic lick, building and building on a warm, clean yet very effective groove. This one’s taking you away and when the synth solo hits, there’s no way back. Moving onwards Love Over Entropy serves a tasty as always „Lemon Pie Type Vibe“ – a simply beautiful and airy track build around a broken beat. We consider this as a very special birthday cake. Have a slice!

Side D introduces new talent Hadiid who’s representing from the island of Borneo in Malaysia. Rudi’s view on electronic music is perfectly merging his cultural roots in South East Asia with the ability to create cutting edge dancefloor weapons. „Rebelwave“ is just the perfect proof. Finishing off the release in style is our Anthony Georges Patrice. The frenchman who set things off for us with his now classic „Parallel Romance“ five years ago, is showcasing a different side with „CTAFY“. This bouncy breakbeat with airy synth textures and delayed percussion lines also highlights Anthony’s strong development as an artist. Wait for the bassline drop!

Looking back on five years of Lossless we feel extremely excited that nearly all of the artists who release with us to date are part of this new Outbound.3 compilation. Thanks to all artists and everyone who supported our Lossless journey so far. It feels as if we’ve only started yesterday so there’s more to come.

Toy Tonics presents a new producer team: Sound Support consists of two enthusiastic synth and house aficionados that everybody knows (in the scene): Lars Dales from Dam Swindle and Lorenz Rhode (keyboard wizard and producer genius).
Together they are doing extremely groovy, jazz infected dance music that connects the good things of 1990ies house with the indie disco of the 2000s.

Lars Dales & Lorenz Rhode connected through their mutual love for all things musically unusual. After years of having worked together on several projects, such as the Dam Swindle live show, they finally got around to making music together. The result has been nothing less than an avalanche of tracks, mostly made in 4 day coffee fueled studio sessions in Lorenz’ studio in Cologne. All reminding the big funk house tracks of the early 2000s. Yes a lot of Daft Punk is here, A lot of NYC disco influences. Larry Levan and Laurent Garnier, DJ Harvey and Masters at Work.. all influences on this record.

After their first two Sound Support EP’s on Prins Thomas’ label, Internasjonal, they’ve ventured out to House of Disco and other labels with a wide array of immensely enjoyable synth heavy tracks. 2023 sees these two venture more into house territory with releases on AUS music and Toy Tonics, two labels that have cemented themselves deeply into the underground scene. In any case, it’s clear that Sound Support have found its signature sound and there is much more of that to look forward to. Toy Tonics is the key label for the wildstyle house scene and Sound Support fit perfectly. Welcome!
