Synth enchantress Poly Chain returns to Dom Trojga for a smashing full EP release! Hailing from Kiev,
she first made a name for herself during the years she spent in Warsaw, releasing her debut LP and becoming a fixture on Poland's underground scene. After returning to Ukraine, she spread her wings further, with exciting releases and regular international appearances only briefly thwarted by the pan-demic. Her long-anticipated EP for Dom Trojga is a treat in her signature style - filled to the brim with incessant, psychedelic arpeggios racing over raw and direct beats. The opener "Kie?" is an unfor-giving electro tune with a huge snare (we like) and tight, unsettling synthwork. "Visa" offers some much-needed hypnotic comfort, and on the flipside, "Acid Regular" hits the floor again with a serious groove, while "Visa Reprise" closes off in a deep, echo-laden fashion. The cover is a drawing by the inimitable Bartosz Zaskórski - an illustrator, sculptor and sound artist, whose uncanny, twisted bio-mechanical visions have been haunting us for years. Bearing the catalogue number DT004, Casiopepe EP was originally set for release in the Summer of 2020, but got swept away by the pandemic whirlwind of production issues and broken dreams. We couldn't simply let this one slide into ob-livion, however, and so finally here it is, every sound teeming with hope and joy. Casi-opepe is the lovechild of two experienced producers and good friends working between Warsaw and Berlin. Together, they create addictive, masterful and un-mistakably Euro-leaning dance tunes, as is evidenced on their eponymous release, where echoes of trance, acid, and continental disco are moulded together - with a touch of nostalgia, but with a decidedly modern execution. DJ, producer and label chief, his is a storied career that spans three decades, and it’s long been evident
that Marco’s enthusiasm and passion remains resolute. He closed 2021 with the release of his sixth studio
album Surreal Stage, an ambitious, introspective body of work that dropped via his booming imprint
Materia. His own label aside, his discography is stacked with cuts across eminent labels Second State,

OUT OF PLACE ARTEFACTS, the collaboration alchemizing the sounds of german producers Rødhåd and .VRIL, embarks on a new sonic exploration with “II” on Rødhåd’s label WSNWG.
This second longplayer ventures significantly deeper into the spheres of electronic music - exploring a wide range of abysmal drums and breaks as well as focusing on flickering sound sketches and elusive noises whose origin will have to remain a mystery for the listener. It aims to leave them in inexplicable realms between the dance floor and deep listening, unfolding its magnetism beyond genre definitions.
Throughout the listening experience, one is exposed to bewildering surprises such as traces of lightheartedness and stronger use of samples, vocals and strings. “Universian” invites a softer tone, revealing a more seductive, gloomier and poppier facette of the duo.
The closing track “Triskaideka” concludes the journey by featuring classical musicians Angelina Delgado (Violin) and Alexandra Ivanova (Viola).
OUT OF PLACE ARTEFACTS considerably developed the rapport between both artists' contributions for this LP- merging them into a more harmonious, yet very distinct expression.
