Poly Chain aka. Sasha Zakrevska presents a blistering set of cold, radical and introspective electro tracks on one of her most entrancing records to date.
Weaving influences from a wide palette of styles across electro, IDM, techno, trance, breaks and experimental sounds, the Ukranian composer and DJ builds stories and shapes patterns seemingly from another dimension, yet clearly close to heart.
Undoubtedly a commentary on experienced hardship, strong willed hope, unjust conflict and most importantly the power of expression through music, SMART-155 is a testament to possibilities and a reminder of the importance of unity.
Poly Chain is an alias of Sasha Zakrevska - a composer, curator, DJ and graphic designer from Kyiv, Ukraine. She is currently based in Berlin due to full-scale invasion.

Synth enchantress Poly Chain returns to Dom Trojga for a smashing full EP release! Hailing from Kiev,
she first made a name for herself during the years she spent in Warsaw, releasing her debut LP and becoming a fixture on Poland's underground scene. After returning to Ukraine, she spread her wings further, with exciting releases and regular international appearances only briefly thwarted by the pan-demic. Her long-anticipated EP for Dom Trojga is a treat in her signature style - filled to the brim with incessant, psychedelic arpeggios racing over raw and direct beats. The opener "Kie?" is an unfor-giving electro tune with a huge snare (we like) and tight, unsettling synthwork. "Visa" offers some much-needed hypnotic comfort, and on the flipside, "Acid Regular" hits the floor again with a serious groove, while "Visa Reprise" closes off in a deep, echo-laden fashion. The cover is a drawing by the inimitable Bartosz Zaskórski - an illustrator, sculptor and sound artist, whose uncanny, twisted bio-mechanical visions have been haunting us for years. Die Orakel reveals Lake Lemuria EP by Poly Chain, a full-on electro emission loaded with relics of British 90s IDM. The pun intending Max For Death commences the sonic diffusion with booming bass drums, reverberating acid line, plus an elevating meandering melody. Latter qualities extend and modulate subsequently, in variations joined by slowly shifting atmospheric pads and fast paced electroid geostructures, rendering a polychrome four-track braindance-scape.

Brand new Transatlantyk release contains elusive synth works of Sasha Zakrevska aka Poly Chain.She likes to call herself a 'Ukrainian ambient chavette' and the title of her debut album is a tongue-in-cheek spin on Eno's classic. 'Music For Candy Shops' is much more sticky and syrupy than its famous predecessor though. In every track on this record Poly Chain's rich and warm synth textures are glazed with another layer of radioactive sweeting.
From atonal melodies on top to occasional spicing in form of odd reverbs, delays and drum sounds - it's all there. Let me tell you straight up: this candy shop serves some weird sort of sweets, inducing hallucinations, anxious feelings of omniscience and transcendency. Use with caution!
