The A side: "Tech 97" weaves undulating pads through sustained tension, shadowing the acid riff until it breaks into a hypnotic workout where calculated moments of release command the floor.
The B1 "Manic Mix" pushes boundaries with an urgent buildup of the 303 and metallic high hats, culminating in pure dancefloor abandon - snares and claps cutting through the darkness.
The B2 "Calm Mix" explores deeper territory with dubbed-out vibes. The acid riff maintains its spectral presence against the rhythm, while ethereal chords spiral outward creating an almost nautical motion beneath the surface.

In a flurry of angular beats and space age synth licks, Livity Sound welcomes Willis Anne to the fold under the guise of a new alias, FOREIGNER. Operating within the thriving scene around his current base Naarm, Anne brings a live, jammed-out focus to machine-rooted electronic performance that translates into his productions. Impérieux debuts on Hessle Audio with the Fena EP, an immersive collection of 4 tracks defined by his unpredictable and varied sonic palette. Drawing on a heritage that threads through Turkey, Greece and his home city of Kircaali in Bulgaria, Alper Durmush channels a turbulent year in which six months of creative stillness ignited unexpectedly into an explosive burst of musical ideas. "Fena is a word my Mum used to call me as a kid" recounts Durmush on the title track. "The name comes from Turkish, but with a Balkan twist, it means a mischievous rascal - wild, unpredictable, a bit too much at times". This restless energy is perfectly captured with jittering interferance and snarling sawtooth synths bursting through the mix, threatening to overwhelm the speakers and sending sound engineers running for cover. 'Sickomode' encapsulates the push-pull emotional sensibility of the EP, with confidence and meloncholy rotating, shifting, and giving way to each other. 'Saat' is an attempt to recreate a track based solely on a surreal description, relayed by a veteran of the rave scene in his home town - "This guy told me about a festival in the woods back in the early 2000s, where someone played a track with dogs barking in the break - the volume rising constantly." The initial dissonance of its detuned lead releases into a euphoric rush of melody, a combination which is becoming something of a producer trademark. The EP closes with the quiet, unwavering warmth of 'Cawuso', a nickname for a person that the artist met last year. "This very special person showered me with kindness and purity. It almost felt unreal, so I decided to dedicate this track to them."

Nutria Sounds, new sublabel of NDATL Muzik, a home for organic, soul-nourishing dance music rooted in deep grooves and essential vibes. Launching this journey is the “Mi Espiritu EP” by rising Toronto-based producer Marcelo Cruz, a three-track statement of spiritual depth and dancefloor energy.

A song tribute to Jorge Ben Jor & Quarteto Em Cy from Brazilian hip hop talent Laiz and her band The New Love Experience, following her breakout 2024 rap and jazz debut album. Laiz's love for music is rooted in tropicália, Brazilian music old and new, and soul. Think Tom Zé, Marcelo D2 and Sampha the Great. And like so many Brazilians, the deep reverence Laiz has for home grown funk, bossa and samba artists from the second half of the twentieth century runs deep. So, following on from her jazz fuelled hip-hop debut on Agogo Records in 2024, she has written and recorded a track Se Segura, a homage to warm and fuzzy-funk sound of 70's Brazil and two of her favourite artists Jorge Ben Jor & Quarteto Em Cy.
