Two years after the release of the acclaimed 'Emergency Break EP', _asstnt & Roll Dann return with their second studio collaboration on Pfirter's label.
The Spanish duo is back with 'Old Gem', a 6-track vinyl release showcasing their emerging talent and signature sound; powerful basslines and driving synths keep the pace high, perfectly distorted stabs create the rhythm, and haunting pads combined with sharp percussive elements generate the needed tension for a dark atmosphere. Meanwhile, a constant, steady groove remains pushing forward throughout the whole record.
This is a much anticipated physical record on our platform and is here for all wax lovers.

Release Info:
What is techno if not a powerful conduit for energy? The movement of a sequence, the surge of an effects rush, the respondent reaction in every individual dancer and the moving mass of the crowd as a whole. Whether the frequencies transmit directly into the brain through the intimacy of a headphone reverie, reverberate through the architecture of a space or fill the formless void of the open air, techno’s potency to initiate and stimulate energetic events is profound. This is something Pfirter understands intimately, having spent more than 15 years exploring ways of manipulating the energy on a dancefloor.
Of course, energy is not just about volume and aggression. Tonality, spatial processing and composition can have just as profound an effect as the thump of the kick drum. On his new album Altered States, Pfirter proves that point by zeroing in on the cerebral, psychedelic elements of his craft across 10 incisive tracks. The Argentine producer consciously approached his second album (following 2019’s The Empty Space) with a minimal mindset, using a very focused set of drum machines and synths to achieve a consistency across the record. Captured over a short burst of creativity, it’s the sound of an artist pushing a limited array of tools as far as possible. Despite this concise palette, it’s not an album that repeats itself, but rather an extended trip that flows from one detailed, textured immersion to the next.
The dense, febrile waves of hard-oscillating ripples in ‘A Future In Chaos’ and the sparkling, off-key chimes adorning ‘Yearn’ all speak to Pfirter’s gift for extravagant, surrealist expression within his tracks. ‘Altered States’, by way of contrast, succeeds in its absolute immediacy – a piledriving statement of bleep-driven intent. ‘Boiler’ and ‘Convergence’ land somewhere in between, coiling around kinked rhythmic incantations which still push forwards with precision while offering a different angle from which to approach the dancefloor. Cementing the idea of the whole album as a listening experience, Altered States is bookended by ‘Venus’ and ‘Dissolution’, two minimal exercises in drone-oriented mood setting.
Pfirter understands the role of his music, and his own instincts as a performing artist. It’s crafted to be captivating for DJs as much as the attentive listener. Spanning linear rhythms and broken beats, moments of calm and writhing intensity, Altered States offers a multitude of energetic possibilities in the mix or as a standalone piece of music. Ultimately, it’s a masterful return from a leading light of the contemporary techno scene.

Short Info:
Pushing his sound further into leftfield-leaning horizons and textured atmospheric reliefs, Pfirter highly-anticipated debut long-player 'The Empty Space' finds the Argentinian-born, Barcelona-based producer steering across shape-shifting sonic rapids with poise and panache. Inspired by a fractal of elements including physics, sci-fi and Lovecraftian flicks, amongst many other things, 'The Empty Space' is a record that revolves around the experience of the voyage itself rather than the destination, throbbing with a vital pulse that acutely transcends all categories and genres, as Pfirter adroitly recombines techno's DNA into something truly and definitely his own. From the false quiet of gloomy lakeshores and riverbanks to post-industrial cityscapes, through barren no-go zones and tiny basements packed to the rafters, welcome into Pfirter's personal "empty space".

B1. “Mint”- Kuf & Dold
B2. “Biorritmo”- Jonas Kopp
Info:
The mutable nature of our lives leads to a constant pursuit of musical incentives. Last month we launched a new series on MindTrip aiming to bring together diverse sounds and musical backgrounds under a mutual project.
Mutable Minds edition II welcomes the very exceptional work from five of our favorite artists out there. The release opens with our head honcho Pfirter and his Anti-Routine that comes with his trademark modular effect and a well-constructed sequence. Sleepwalker belongs to Mexico’s finest techno export aka Fixeer who delivered a pounding track with great energy.
On the B-side things are getting deeper and more tripped out yet still powerful and intense with the Swedish duo Kuf & Dold and their track Mint. Mutual Minds II closes with a familiar name that is none other than Jonas Kopp who returns to MindTrip with a very interesting piece that comprises a narcotic feeling and space stabs.
The final outcome of the second Mutable Minds edition perfectly describes the musical perspective and ethos on MindTrip. Hope you enjoy this trip to the fullest.

Tracklist EP:
2. ""Automa" - Diego Amura 3. ""Automa (Jonas Kopp Remix)" - Diego Amura 4. "Escape" - Diego Amura 5. "Poison" - Diego Amura
Info:
Pfirter and his label MindTrip are highly respected in the world of Techno. Being the main vessel for his own productions, it has also featured music and remixes by producers such as Chris Liebing, Lucy, Markus Suckut, Oscar Mulero and Developer, whilst also looking to support and break new artists.
The fifteenth vinyl release is in charge of Italian talent Diego Amura who makes his MindTrip debut following releases on the likes of ARTS, Planet Rhythm and Konsequent. Having played alongside leading DJs such as Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Rødhåd, Sleeparchive and Dax J, his reputation is growing substantially with each gig and release.
Diego's original tracks on the Automa EP incorporate a raw, analogue aesthetic, with a nod to the old school. Straight up jams ready for any dancefloor, they also have a feeling of menace and purpose from the twisted melodies.
Jonas Kopp supplies the sole remix, who to many should need no introduction following his influential releases on Tresor, PoleGroup, Ilian Tape, CLR and many more. His rework concentrates on a more hypnotic flow, instilled with sparks of energy, funk and deep textures.

Tracklist EP:
1. "Exoplanet War" - Farceb 2. ""Signals From Space" - Farceb 3. ""Unknown Shadow" - Farceb 4. "Hyperion" - Farceb
Info:
MindTrip presents MT13, which sees another young Argentinan talent - Farceb - making his MindTrip debut.
Farceb is a producer who's been pricking ears over the last couple of years with strong releases on labels such as Arts, Orioni and Circular Limited. He now joins Pfirter's imprint with his superb Signals From Space EP.
Exoplanet War sets things in motion and is a stylish, entrancing tune, which - if it wasn't for it's intrinsic energy and power - would border on the somniferous.
Next up is Signals from Space, a tough, brutal and percussive workout, punctuated by dark, organic synth stabs. This track builds and rolls along in a way dancefloors will love.
Unknown Shadow is a powerful, stripped down merciless lump of peak-time techno which cleverly blends atmosphere and hard hitting percussion.
The final track - the superb Hyperion - is a 6 minute, deadly exercise in pushing intensity and tension to (and sometimes beyond) commonsensical limits.

Info:
MindTrip presents MT12, which sees two young Argentinian techno producers - Alderaan & Mental Resonance - joining forces to create the Man from Earth EP. This record features 3 outstanding, original tracks and an explosive remix from MindTrip's fulcrum, Pfirter.
Right from the start, this release brims with menace and intent with Man from Earth 1, an unabated, dogged and single minded experiment in contrasting restfulness with forcefulness.
Man from Earth 2 is a fathomless, enigmatic exploration of the trippiest of techno. This deep cut provides a welcome ebb to proceedings but is by no means a compromise in any shape, manner or form, as it builds with furious intensity.
Opening the B side - just when you thought it was safe to look behind you - Pfirter's reworks Man from Earth 3, tweaking the yet unreleased original and making full use of his exceptional knack of creating tracks engineered fairly and squarely with the dancefloor in mind. Expect this cut to do serious damage on dancefloors all over the globe.
Man From Earth 4 is simply an undulating exercise in messing with the listener's mind. It is unfaltering and unapologetic in its quest to pull you into its dark void.

Tracklist EP:
1. "Ovadoca" - Tripeo 2. "Ovadoca (Juho Kusti Remix) - Tripeo 3. "Contortions (Jonas Kopp Remix)" - Simon Haydo 4. "Contortions" - Simon Haydo
Info:
For the its 11th release, MindTrip brings together 4 of the most challenging and interesting artists of the current techno scene, presenting two original tracks and two remixes. This record opens with "Ovadoca" from the highly productive Dutchman Tripeo, also known as Darko Esser. Ovadoca is a dark, meandering and trippy track which incorporates rich analogue sounds with a deep, rolling groove - perfect for parties which continue for days not hours.
The second track introduces Finnish DJ and producer Juho Kusti to the MindTrip imprint with his brilliant interpretation of Ovadoca. Juho's take on the track loses nothing of the original's quality and adds eerie tones, additional percussion and a new arrangement, making this version a club friendly roller.
The B side reverses convention and opens with a remix of the final track, Contortions by Jonas Kopp. As you would expect from the Argentinian, the track is a tough, driving chunk of techno. The mood undulates throughout and tension is expertly built throughout in this storming, peak time track.
The original version of Contortions closes the EP. Penned by Simon Haydo - who is well known for delivering consistently high quality music on a range of respected labels like Balans and Stockholm LTD - Contortions is a bass heavy track with a mesmerising hook which DJs and dancefloors will love in equal measure.

MindTrip is pleased to announce the release of the label's 10th EP with 3 strong, synth orientated dancefloor tracks from label boss Pfirter and a remix by Tensal. Up next is Rige, a more subtle and deep track which works a relentless groove alongside colourful metallic textures.
Tensal - also known as Hektor Sandoval and one half of Spanish techno titans Exium - remixes Procyon superbly for the third track of the EP and demonstrates his innate ability to craft interesting and fresh sounding techno. Info:
Following on from the well received various artists series 'From the Lab to the Club', MindTrip 09 sees the return of label boss, Pfirter, with 4 brand new tracks, which encapsulate MindTrip's musical philosophy perfectly. The sonic soundscape of 'Otras Dimensiones' opens proceedings, layering dark and ambient textures. Tension builds throughout the track and really sets the mood for this record. Anticipation is finally rewarded by the opening bars of 'Message 1'. The apparently laid back, dark bassline gives rise to high frequency colour which serves to make this track a building cauldron of devilry, which is unrelenting in its pursuit of evil. This is Pfirter at his brilliant best and demonstrates his inimitable style flawlessly. The flip side of the EP picks up where the A side left off and opens with 'Technalog'. The dancefloor sounds of this eerie track are perfect for the dankest and grimiest of settings.
The final track, 'Casus Belli' is a driving statement of refusal to compromise. A powerful, dancefloor techno track whose rich analogue sounds blend together deep, fascinating layers and textures, hypnotising the listener as it ebbs and flows. This is MindTrip!

Info:
MindTrip is pleased to introduce Part 2 of its new various artists series 'From The Lab to The Club'. For this EP, 4 artists - both established and emerging - were selected to contribute music which embodies the spirit of the series. This release opens in the strongest possible way, with 2 of techno's heaviest hitters, Chris Liebing and Pfirter joining forces to produce the driving, heavy and hypnotic '420'. Notably, this track signals a welcome return to production for Chris Liebing and shows his ability to create strong, dancefloor techno has not diminished. Next up is the highly talented Japanese producer Yuuki Sakai (Subsist, Warm Up Records) with 'Ballat', a relentless, percussive track enhanced by subtle, textured elements. There is no letup on the B side, which opens with the mysterious Obscure Shape's 'Back in Black'. This track promises to yield an intense and building atmosphere, which almost - but not quite - threatens to kill all those who dare to defy its menacing sounds. This strong release is completed with a contribution from UK producer Dax J entitled 'Revelations'. Make no mistake, this is an intense, compelling track, which builds with a strength which is not for the faint hearted.

Dubfire - Dark Matter (Drumcell Remix)
Single 3
Tracklist:
A Dubfire - Escape (Truncate Remix)
B Dubfire - Dark Matter (Drumcell Remix)
EVOLV is a visionary window into the mind of Dubfire, the journey of the ‘hybrid’ being and its evolution. Last year in October, an 11-track debut album was released on his long-standing SCI+TEC imprint. And now, just over a year later, Grammy award winning producer Dubfire returns to that sonic discourse, drafting in an impressive array of names to re-interpret the material, and accompanied by Dubfire's new audio-visual EVOLV show which picked up where the critically acclaimed electronic performance experience HYBRID had left off.
The eclectic package will include such notables as Glaskin, Arjun Vagale, Nadia Struiwigh, Mathimidori (dub alias of Mathias Kaden), Maral, Decka, Carl Craig, Truncate, Drumcell, Chris Liebing, Radio Slave and Luke Slater who have all given the original music in their own unique style.
With a career spanning over 3 decades, Dubfire has achieved global success as an artist with relentless drive, talent, and intuition. Pioneering commercial notoriety came initially as one half of the Grammy Award-winning (2001) duo Deep Dish, before embarking on a truly groundbreaking solo career in 2007. A career filled with timeless tracks include his early works, ‘RibCage’ (2007), ‘Emissions' (2007), ‘Roadkill’ (2007) and the highly acclaimed ‘Grindhouse’ (2009) remix from Radio Slave which led to a host of other notable projects over the years.
Collaborative work highlights include projects with Miss Kitten, Luke Slater, Flug, and Oliver Huntemann, as well as co-producing two songs on Underworld’s Barking album. A true artist, he has always been heavily invested in exploring performance technology, unveiled to wide praise with his HYBRID live show. A two-year world tour commenced in 2015 and was followed by his retrospective album, A Decade Of Dubfire (2017), a celebration of his immense output during the first 10 years of solo artist stardom. EVOLV is Dubfire’s debut solo artist album.

Veyl is proud to welcome back to the label one of the most essential and multidimensional producers today, Filmmaker. To date, the Colombian artist has delivered a plethora of revered releases from his breakout, The Love Market (2019), to his previous
album on Veyl, Fictional Portrayals (2022). He consistently traverses genres from postpunk, EBM, synth wave and beyond to create a unique identity still firmly rooted in film culture. Now he returns with perhaps his most robust and powerful offering, Hollywood
Cult.
Comprised of 13 tracks, the album sees the producer elevate his sound to new levels, conjuring a world of haunting atmospheres and devious directions that take the listener through a journey of unparalleled proportions. Kicking off the album is the ritual-like
'Secrecy', which builds tension before exploding into a synth-driven race against time and introduces us to the world that lies ahead. 'Holy Wood' injects a heavy dose of body music for an infectious piece that bleeds perfectly in to the slow burning nostalgia of
'Generational Trauma'. Next, 'Western Malice' picks the pace back up with its evil energy that feels fit for the best horror scenes before 'Shocking Therapy' enters the picture with an exhilarating electro feel.
Now in the depths of the journey, 'Vessels Wine' continues the saga with a high intensity work that gives way to the stirring emotions of 'Peacekeeper Ripper' and the raw, blood lust of 'Criminal Rite'. Now entering the final phases, 'Spiritual Harvest' cleanses the
palate before 'Elite Dungeons' comes crashing in with a lo-fi feel that puts you deep underground. 'Two Sets of Rules' charges back with twisted lines before 'No Fetish Without Evil' unveils post-punk strings that puts you in a trance before 'Hanging Finale' closes the release ultimately fading out into the abyss. Repeat listens will be necessary and the whole album feels like a soundtrack to a dark new world that is perfectly fitting for any Hollywood Cult.

Writing about techno is quite difficult without falling into cliché: there are only so many ways that you can say
something about a music whose core elements are forged on deliberate repetition; where real talent is attributed
to those who can find the perfect groove where nothing needs added or subtracted to hold the listener’s attention for upwards of five minutes.
Such tracks are the hallmark of Tresor’s catalogue, and this joy in repetition can be found in works from Detroit,
Berlin, Birmingham, Edinburgh, and more. And it is through this lens that Parisian artist, UFO95, focuses his
output, resulting in Backward Improvement, an EP that sits perfectly in the spectrum of techno found in the
Tresor chronology.
The title itself makes an abstract reference to the influence of the classics of the genre, inspiring him to take a
distinct less-is-more approach to production for this collection of stripped-down yet unrelenting techno chiselled
from the live set which has fixed UFO95 as one of the next holdfasts for the future of the scene.
Perhaps it is the fact the UFO95 only performs live that had led to such crisp and focussed studio productions.;
each of the tracks showcase the artist’s burgeoning talent for creating the essential foundations of techno;
perfect, looping, instinctual grooves that are counterbalanced by an apprehensive tension from off-key tones.
Backward Improvement marks the addition of a new name in the list of techno’s best producers and proves that
while the genre may now be in its 40th year there are yet sonic explorations to be made and variations that are
worth unearthing. More

Originally pressed in 2022, as a vinyl-only release, an edition of 100 fluorescent green 12” and sold exclusively at venues in the USA as part of Luke Vibert & Posthuman’s I Love Acid tour, never made available anywhere else. This second edition repress is in randomly assigned cobalt blue, solid orange vinyl, or split red/black with multiple differently coloured labels.

Release Info:
Single release from the forthcoming album “Catharsis”, produced by Sven Va¨th & Gregor Tresher
The second release before the upcoming mighty new Sven Va¨th album “Catharsis” gives you another hint at what´s coming at you! Let us tell you, we couldn´t be more excited for everyone to finally experience Sven´s new masterpiece!
But before we unleash the beast, we decided to release a second single. This time containing two absolute highlight tracks. If you have heard Sven playing in the past months, you will recognize both, as they were pivotal moments in almost every set!
First up we have “Mystic Voices“, a track that was created during the early stages of the album production with Sven gathering ideas and words to finally record the unmistakable vocals during a hectic tour through India, and Gregor spending days and nights on the other side of the planet in his studio to process the stream of inspiration. When the two finally sat down together in the studio, the track emerged quickly. Some would call the instant vibe that magic that every creative mind is longing to find.
“Butoh” is a raw and dark force, influenced by Japanese dance, an art form that deeply touched Sven during his travels on Nippon Island. It´s an otherworldly sounding track, still based in the Techno Realm but heavily twisted by a long break that introduces Japanese percussions that eventually get topped by the haunting vocals of Cana Hatsushiba.

Juan Mendez aka Silent Servant is a figure in techno history that needs little introduction. As a member of the Sandwell District collective and the label’s art director he collaborated on works that were responsible for a global focal shift in the genre as their label adapted and challenged the paradigm of minimal techno, taking influence from other sources such as dub, post-punk, and even classical minimalism.
But Mendez’s relationship with music goes back much further than these seminal releases. With In Memoriam, Silent Servant’s latest release on Tresor Records, Mendez writes a deeply personal memoir of a 30-plus year career spent exploring and absorbing the shadowy side of music; a carefully crafted elegy to people, places, and times past and the lasting effect they have on the present.
Across the four tracks, Mendez pays tribute to the earliest Detroit techno and electro, the Belgian EBM movement and the wave music that followed, the monumental dub techno sound from Berlin, and the harder, abrasive sound of the UK at the turn of the last millennium; exploring and referencing the genres that informed his later work. Each track name gives a hint to the timeframe he is revisiting and re-contextualising as the E.P. repurposes the styles that exerted an influence on him.
This E.P. represents a pure distillation of Mendez’s memories whilst also cementing his place in the current and future sound of 21st century techno; aware of where we came from but focused on where we are heading. More
