Strictly Rhythm throw open the archive for this limited white vinyl 2021 repress of an all time soulful house anthem! A creation of the master at work himself Mr. Louie Vega, alongside Mood II Swing's Lem Springsteen, 'Beautiful People' is one of those mid 90's NYC jams that ticks all the boxes. A record that was built for huge sound systems and joyous packed, sweaty dancefloors and one that features the supreme vocal skills of Barbara Tucker in full flow. It has all the trappings of a classic. The A-side is the same as the original 1994 pressing with the now legendary 'Underground Network' mix opening proceedings, a roof-raising piece of organ led, gospel tinged goodness complete with it's iconic 'deep deep inside, deep down inside' vocal refrain slap bang in the middle for the sample spotters. Also included are the wonderfully stripped back and bumping 'Beautiful Reprise' mix and the original monster 'Club Mix' which sees Louie's MAW cohort Kenny Dope Gonzales at the desk on mixing duties (again, rinsing the amazing 'deep inside' vocal to great effect) and finally, to round off this essential package we are treated to a deep as you like Mood II Swing dub mix that is all swirling pads and organs, taking us into the early hours in style. A more solid and essential repress of a classic record you'd be hard pressed to find!

The epitome of an evergreen, all-time classic release. Masters At Work Louie Vega and Kenny Dope were on a major roll in this era, producing, remixing, dj-ing and everything in-between, these guys put in ridiculous work. They are joined on this EP by a roll-call of names and collaborators, Erick Morillo engineering the title track? Check. Maurice Joshua on co-production duties? You got it. Vocals by Ms. Barbara tucker? They're there. Killer, rock hard drums? Stacks of Soul? Masterfully chopped up Disco samples? All present. Serious stuff. Sometimes a record just manages to capture and distill the true essence of what this is all about and 'Deep Inside' is one such record, it bears all the hallmarks of golden era MAW, all the signposts of what was happening in NYC's clubs in the early to mid 90's were there within it's grooves. Incredible, stone cold classic house music from the mighty Wayne Gardiner, a truly underrated producer whose output has remained evergreen over the decades and is definite deep house royalty. 'Moments In House' is from 1990, unbelievable really when you hear how fresh it sounds today. The clue is in the title, this is a killer version of Art Of Noise's seminal 'Moments In Love', a landmark record in itself. Gardiner pays tribute to the Art with his stripped, funky and driving use of their infamous pads and tones, a nod to the NYC / NJ clubs where records such as 'Moments In Love' would have been deemed the classics of the day. 'Just A Touch' is on the flip, a beautifully deep and bassline driven cut that evokes the spirit of Larry Heard, but doesn't borrow too heavily from him while carving out it's own late night sonic niche. One for the dancers and the lovers of the deepness. It's hard to top records like this, from the dawn of house music's golden age, innocent and uncomplicated yet oozing with soul and depth. Monumental House anthem alert! Another classic jammer from 1992 lifted straight from the Strictly vaults. This one's HUGE. Phuture aka acid House pioneers Spanky and DJ Pierre (with a little help from Roy Davis JR) turn in a driving, acidic monster in true Wild Pitch style. Probably the only record that begins with a sinister voice saying 'This is cocaine speaking' before diving head-long into one of the best anti-drug House records ever. Absolutely brilliant. Bubbling 303 basslines and cavernous handclaps combine with a funked out, dubbed out synth line that just doesn't stop. Phuture will survive, and they weren't lying when they said that as this record (among too many others they had a hand in) still rock today. Yep, still fresh. Tried and tested, often imitated, never bettered. Phuture are the originals. Open up your eyes (and ears). This one's a tasty 2017 reissue and remaster, featuring all 4 mixes as per the original release way back when. Essential stuff here. You simply NEED this one.

Groove Patrol aka the 95 North crew dropped these 2 sides of heavyweight NYC Garage pressure in 1993. One listen and it's obvious the influence records like this had on UK producers and scenes. Swinging, funked out and tough, all at the same time, 'Need your love' is here across 3 mixes. The original mix itself sounding the most UK-centric for sure. If soulful, underground US House is your bag you'll be needing this reissue for sure! Absolutely oozing class, classic material. 'Dancin to the music' is the B-side, 2 mixes feature, again and it's that 95 North sound - drenched in soul, yet street at the same time. Both versions are hard enough for the heads, but musical enough for the dancers who are deep in the speaker stack. Brilliant stuff for House lovers old and new. This one's a tasty 2017 reissue and remaster, featuring all cuts, unedited, as per the original release way back when. Essential stuff here. Do not sleep. A worthy addition to any DJ's bag.

Dan Curtin's name has long been associated with future looking Techno, machine music oozing with soul and emotion. A slow-burner with real progression, Mathias Kaden’s ‘Fyutr’ unfolds as a mind-melting journey. Dub chords creep in gently before stretching and mutating, while Zoë Xenia’s spoken-word vocal drifts through the mix, and sweeping strings give it a deep, timeless feel. The single is complemented by a remix from Dennis Ferrer, who flips the original into a beefy, pared-back House cut, warping Xenia’s vocals and locking into a rolling groove before resolving in lush chord work. Italian producer and DJ Riva Starr returns to Rekids with the ‘Shine A Light’ EP, arriving 27th March 2026. It marks his solo debut for Radio Slave’s flagship label, succeeding his ‘Love Will Remain’ EP together with Mark Broom as Star B in 2022. Active for more than two decades, Starr has been a consistent force within House music, known for building infectious loops, weighty basslines, and hook-led vocals into timeless club records. His catalogue spans his own Snatch! Records alongside labels such as Hot Creations, Cajual, Crosstown Rebels, and Factory 93, with releases regularly topping digital charts. Classics Volume 2 kicks off with a slice of Defected 2012 goodness; ‘Around (Solomun Vox)’ by Noir & Haze. When Solomun took his turn at remixing this Ibiza anthem, it was heard everywhere from Hackney warehouses to Pacha Ibiza, and showed a different side to the heavier original. On the B-Side is the Moodymann Edit, where he makes subtle changes to Solomun’s mix by interweaving tribal drums and stripping back some of the techier elements, followed by Chicken Lips’ electro banger ‘He Not In’ which thunders through. An instantly recognisable record, even if they’re not aware of its name or who wrote it, with an unmistakable bassline that has truly stood the test of time.

In his 30th year of releasing music, Jimpster returns to Freerange with Bassic Rollers, a brand new four-track EP
that reaffirms his status as one of UK house music’s most enduring and inventive figures. This marks his first full
release since the highly regarded The Phoenix EP on the legendary Nu Groove imprint, and follows his recent
accolade of being named Traxsource Top Artist of the Year, placing at an impressive #11. With Bassic Rollers,
Jimpster once again distils decades of dancefloor knowledge into four deeply musical club weapons.
Opening the release, Out And About finds Jimpster firmly in his sweet spot. Deep, rolling and effortlessly musical, the
track showcases his trademark sample chops, locked-in with punchy drums and a warm, hypnotic bassline. Inspired
by his recent gigs in South Africa, it’s a mesmerising late-night roller built for heads-down dancefloors and long blends.
Heads Down nudges the BPMs upward for a slice of classic, hypnotic deep house with a distinctly UK slant. Drawing
inspiration from late ’90s club culture - the kind of grooves you might have heard on a Wednesday night at Kenny and
Luke’s influential Space nights at Bar Rhumba - the track channels the spirit and energy of pivotal outfits such as Fresh
& Low or Soul Capsule. Tight, bouncing drums, shuffling hi-hats and sweeping synths combine for a driving, strippedback burner.
Flipping to the B-side, Crispy Pancakes takes a sharp turn into mutant disco territory. A crunchy kick, tight 808 hats
and driving analogue percussion form the backbone, while a looped live bass sample adds the raw energy. When the
drop lands, the track dives deep with arpeggiated synth lines and unmistakable Underground Resistance-style pads,
delivering an uplifting and euphoric moment primed for peak-time floors.
Closing out the EP, Far Side lowers the tempo for a sublime slice of deep disco house. Rich in samples, layered
percussion and textured FX, it’s a track designed for warm-ups, wind-downs, or those moments when the dancefloor
drifts inward. Hypnotic and immersive, this is one to get lost in.
Once again, Jimpster delivers deeply musical club music, effortlessly weaving together different sounds and

Daniel Steinberg debuts on Rekids the Berlin-based Arms & Legs boss drops the ‘Free Living’ EP . Berlin-based producer and DJ Daniel Steinberg lands on Rekids for the fi rst time with the ‘Free Living’ EP, 13th March 2026. Active for over two decades and emerging at the height of the stripped-back, funkier end of minimal house, Steinberg has built a reputation for pairing infectious hooks with tightly programmed grooves, and has ploughed his path via his label, Arms & Legs Records, as well as labels like NuGroove, Front Room, and Southern Fried. The title track of Daniel Steinberg’s ‘Free Living’ EP sets the tone with slow-slung, dusty House pressure, where restraint and subtlety shape a deep, immersive groove.
