BIO:

Benjamin Vigneron, also known as Vronsky, was born in 1991 in Aix-en-Provence,
France.
As a Teenager, drawn simultaneously to Visual Arts, Cinema and Music
production, he made his first contact with Techno by working for a local club
as a graphic designer.
During his 20s, while living between Montreal, Canada and Marseille, France,
it was revealed to Benjamin he suffered from a heavy bipolar disorder. As a
reaction, he started losing himself in free parties and increasingly dangerous
habits.
Gradually learning to love himself despite his flaws, he kicked his risk-taking
after he realized the love of music prevailed over anything else.
Equipped with a strong desire to share his vision despite not being able to
perform as a DJ, Benjamin started a youtube channel and a collective named
Listening Blue.

With the help of legendary guest artists such as 70's Brazilian Samba Rock Marku Ribas, Sao Paolo's Samba virtuoso Bocato and Techno hero Technasia, amongst others, Renato conveys a combination of sonic subtleties and frenetic nuances that takes the listener through a myriad of emotions. A first fresh album sure to build on you, it is both a gem to listen in a relaxed state of mind as well when engaged in lightning pace. It's in 2007, after more than 10 years of production and performances, that Renato felt he finally reached the maturity and level of eclecticism required to work on a bigger scale project. He spent the next two years working on the production of his first album, 16 Billion Drum Kicks. With the mainstream Techno style moving to a minimal, darker and melancholic sound, the album finds an alternative, conveying a global positive mood and dancefloor energy. It is an experiment that combines organic sounds with electronic music and features many Brazilian Jazz and Samba musicians, such as the 60 years-old Samba-Rock legend Marku Ribas on the track Cosmic Man, and the wellrespected trombone player Bocato, in an unexpected Samba-Jazz version of Pontapé. Techno producer and long-lasting friend Technasia also collaborated closely with Renato at the different stages of the production of the album, including mixing and mastering. It's with this project that the two fellas realised they could bring the collaboration to the next level, and came up with the idea of a Live/ DJ performances series entitled Sino Live!, a mix of mashups of their original tracks together with loop and re-edits of well-known Techno classics. Sino goes south with an all-Argentinian release by Luis Nieva and Jonas Kopp. On the A, the original track, 'Frecuency', is sure to be a hit among techno fans who would be interested to venture into a unique audio combination of dark atmospherics layered on top of a funky percussive groove. On the B, the Jonas Kopp's rework of the original version offers an addictive techno tinged drum pattern and bass line, underlaying a hypnotic synth that creates a killer audio soundscape. It’s Italian time! Sam Ruffillo is back. Sicilian producer doing smooth Balearic disco with Italian vocals. The direction is clear: Sam Ruffillo's music brings us back into the Italian riviera and the hippy days of Ibiza in the late 1970ies. Even his way of production is similar to how the early days disco producers in Italia used to work: No samples needed. Instead a few guest musicians come to jam over Sam's beats in his Italian studio space. Guitar, bass, percussions. Sam later makes the production and added keyboard solos and put together the vibes into what is this new EP.

The girl voice comes from NINFA. It’s the classic studio story: Ninfa is a singer and DJ and friend of Sam. She was hanging at the studio while Sam was finishing these tracks. She stated to sing along... the words came up spontaneously… so they decided to record her and finally decided to keep them. The vibe was too good. Why talk English if u can do it better: in Italian! :)

This is second for Toy Tonics after his Sport House EP from last year. Sam also appeared on the solo record of Joel Holmes on Toy Tonics. Together with Kapote Modica he co-produced and made the beats on that record. Now Sam is back with this pure Italian EP. Inclusive remixes by new German artists Gome and Italian Musemeci - known to many from his fabulous Italo-trance releases on Diynamic records.

Mihai Popoviciu: "The album’s called "home" because it is inspired by my experiences from my home city Sibiu in Romania. Home is also the place where the album was produced, in my stripped down studio. It is where I always return to rest and chill after touring the world and the place where I feel most safe and comfortable. The artwork shows an image of the airport lane in Sibiu with surrounding hills and mountains in the back. It is a metaphoric "gate" to both leave and return home."

Across the project Mihai delivers his signature dance floor focused, stripped back style with ‘ACK’, showcasing the hypnotic and percussive style Popoviciu executes so well. The project also drifts into smooth dubby realms via compositions like ‘Cannon Poets’ and ‘Sunshine’ while the likes of ‘Music 999’ radiantly display Mihai’s proficient production abilities as he wanders into a brighter more house centric sound.

All in all Mihai Popoviciu turns in a coherent long player whilst exploring a broad range of styles, ‘Focus and ‘Havana’ lay down a groove-led feel with subtle modulations and an unfaltering structure, while ‘Data On Data’ and ‘Hypnosia’ tip the focus over to dark and brooding territories with murky synth pads and chuggy low end tones. Once again Popoviciu has proven himself to be one of Romania’s finest electronic music exports.

Adding his first EP to the label’s catalogue, Figure warmly welcomes Vinicius Honorio onto the roster.
Having first made his mark in the DnB-world as BTK, the vetted Brazilian producer now has been conquering the global techno scene for some years as well. His darkly foreboding sound is on full display across this 12“, featuring three clean-cut, impactful original productions and a remix by Len Faki’s Hardspace moniker.

Endless Love comes punching strong, carried by colleague Theo Nasa’s ominous spoken words and evolving stab synths textures. The remix strips back the vocals in favor of reduced frequencies, keeping the heat condensed and always ready to boil over.
On the flip, Honorio introduces his rolling high-energy machine funk, stacking elements around a hypnotic vocal loop and expertly playing the game of build and release. Closer B2 showcases a different style, using subdued dubby chords to craft a dreamy ride that is at once powerful and deep.

Legendary band SOFT, the driving force behind Kyoto's party scene and underground music culture, releases their new album "Passing Tone" from their home base "softribe" to commemorate their 30th anniversary!

This release marks the first time since the 2018 album "Tokinami" that Soft has released new music. It also comes on the heels of the 2021 vinyl reissue of their 2010 album "Tam (Message To The Sun)" on the labels 17853 Records (headed by CHEE CHIMIZU), TUFF VINYL, and Crosspoint (headed by J.A.K.A.M.).

Guest appearance by former member PRITTI. The album was created by the three founding members: guitarist SIMIZ, drummer PON2, double bassist UCON plus engineer and electronic musician KND, a mainstay of the Kyoto music scene.

Evoking the energy of a live performance, the music pulses with psychedelic soundscapes and dub influences. The 30th anniversary live shows in Osaka and Kyoto were met with resounding success, and the Asian tour followed suit.
