Since the very first release of Tommy’s Turbojazz project, we wanted to have him with us on the boast. 'Whateverism' is the marker of twenty years in music for Turbojazz, it is a celebration of his journey into the sounds and genres that have shaped his unique taste that is now internationally recognised as his trademark.
The album is a musical trip through Nu Jazz and Soul and the most modern electronic drifts of House and Deep.
In the collaborations you can find the LA acclaimed mc Dave Giles II - recently featured on the Honey Dijon track 'Work' and Beyonce 'Cozy' - the Detroit very own and Moodymann/Mahogany singer Nikki O together with the UK House master Sean McCabe and to top off the list, Japanese producer Brisa from Bastard Jazz fam.
All packaged with some of the most promising talents from the country he was born and bred-Italy, Sri Lancan/Neapolitan singer Sara Vanderwert features on the single 'You Are Worth It' and the Italian-Venezuelan Arya who sings the beautiful lyrics of 'We Lost A Night' on a duet with Losangelino rapper Demetrius Rhymes. Not forgetting for mention his long time close collaborator, with whom he shares the Jaxx Madicine music group, Veezo who is in charge of the keys and synths on most of the album.

Manchester's very own Mr Scruff and NYC crate digger Ge-Ology remix Moscow's Lay-Far! Now that's what we call a truly international release. It's kind of a dream release for us at Local Talk as both Scruff and Ge-Ology have been on our 'we wanna get them on Local Talk plastic' list for quite some time. Starting off we find Scruff going for a slight Disco(ish) rub where analogue synths bumps around with a dark but musical basement feel...but still jazzy! Music is feeling, music is meetings. In 2015, the S3A RECORDS 04 was released with collaborations of good friends of S3Amet in the world by the music (Tito Wun, Mannmademusic). This Sampler continue the story with tracks from people S3A met during gigs and travels in the past year: Sweely delivers here great speedy long jazz banger with a great voice sample as a theme. The Columbian Felipe Gordon gives a great stompy funk bass track! On the B side, The French G2S drops a beautiful house sample based “Graef like” song. For the last track need a little bit of story. In 2016 S3A released an EP called 3711 on SoundOfSpeed records in Japan. The track “Bush” taken from this EP has been remixed during a contest in early 2018. 42 Remixes were done and the winner has is remix edited here. Pnom Pen gives us here his 80’s electro version of the track adding great pads and a complete different rhythm and grooves!

This is the first release of the low awaited Sampling As An Art Label. Owned by Parisian house artist S3A, the four tracks of this ep are merging the 4 aims of the Concrete Parties resident: Dynamism, Musicality, Groove and Aliveness. After several years of active productions on labels as Phonogramme, Hold Youth, 4Lux, Concrete Music, Local Talk and Faces Records; S3A decided to make is own structure to promote his vision of music and produce the artists he loves.
