The first Follow The Flow release is produced by Jonas Kopp. "Iamik EP" is composed of four hypnotic tracks: "Iamik", "Iamik" (Fragmentor Remix), "Bangua" and "Shasta". The first three tracks of the EP mark Follow The Flow's classy and cutting-edge Techno style. The last track of the EP, "Shasta" is a timeless high quality drone track, which really puts the cherry on top of it all. The cover photo is curated by the famous Italian photographer Alessio Guarino. Follow The Flow is a multimedia project focused on electronic music and nature (botanic, entomology, ethnobotanic, etc). Follow The Flow aims to create audiovisual tools that will help people reconnect with the natural flow of things and "Rediscover Nature Through Technology", which is also the label's motto.

For the thirteenth release, we are pleased to invite the Argentinian prodigy Jonas Kopp.Following the path of his recent works on Tresor, « Cosmic Control Center Ep » starts with « Cognitive Process » and « Metaprogramming » which are more introspective and abstract whereas « Vortex » is the climax, the release of energy. To conclude « Human Bio Computer » adds something tragic, the final touch to the picture. Let’s start the ride …

Jonas Kopp and Tresor have shared a bright and prosperous musical relationship for some years now, propelled further forward with Photon Belt.
Following Jonas’ debut album Beyond the Hypnosis in 2014, accompanied by the Red Plented EP (2014) and the HHH EP (2015), the Argentinian artist delivers a new full-length to the Berlin’s legendary imprint which will release on May 5th on double vinyl and digital formats.
This new opus is dedicated to a cosmic phenomenon our solar system experiences every 11,000 years. The
photon belt is a band of intense light energy into which our star and its planets moves into for a duration of
about 2,000 years. As part of the Pledian star group, our sun circles around the star named Alcyon, itself
located at all times in the photon belt. Other stars, including ours, move in and out of it for varying periods of
time, depending on their orbit.
Our way into the belt has already begun and will continue over the next five years. The result? Mankind in its
darkest hour paralleled with consciousness rising to further dimensions.
Expect a thoughtful and mature labor from Jonas Kopp’s mesmerizing 10-track journey, on which the
Argentine’s contemporary methods in production meet traditional techno constituents. Throughout the album,
different sidereal interludes arch over to his Telluric Lines side project, which he presented at the 2016
edition of the Berlin Atonal festival.
Crucial titles such as “Galactic Core”, “Aile”, the eponymous “Photon More

After Jonas Kopp's well-received debut album 'Beyond the Hypnosis', released on Tresor Records in November 2014, the Argentinian returns to the label with a powerful and club-oriented EP, 'HHH'. Over the past 10 years Kopp has explored and found himself confortable in many genres of music ranging from housey beats to hypnotic techno. This particular release ?nds itself comfortably in the middle of a dark and dusty dancefloor. 'Khaa' opens the EP with a deep pumping bass as schizophrenic chords intermingle with hi-hats to form a stimulating composition full of energy. Conversely, 'Nahn' unfolds in parallel structure, cheeky yet with a smoother bassline to ease delivery in a more more melodious way. 'Hank' unfurls with a thunderous stomping bass which cracks upon each beat sending you into a frenetic march while sinister atmospheres appear overhead. 'Sinstro' yields a whole new ambiance, with fraught chords pattering on the surface, while spatial airy moods climax throughout the piece to stimulate the mind. Finally, the digital bonus track 'Nekh' brings the story full circle with a bold opening cut which builds into a cosmic trip. Altogether a feverish EP ?t for peak-time elation.

For our first release of 2015 we welcome to ETG one of Techno's most seminal artists... Jonas Kopp has always been an influential figure to EarToGround and was one of the main inspirations behind the creation of the label. Since his remix on ETG002 it was only a matter of time before his own full release was to come about. Few would dispute him as being one of the most prominent and exciting figures to emerge from Argentina in recent years. An accomplished producer, in-demand remixer and versatile performer, he has fast transitioned from Buenos Aires’ best kept secret to one of contemporary house and techno’s leading lights. The tracks created cover his full dynamic range old, new and future while demonstrating his skill at making you want to dance.

If there's one thing Jonas Kopp has proven over the last decade is that he can turn his hand to just about anything. Since debuting on P?rter's revered MindTrip Music back in 2006, the Buenos Aires native has managed to rack up a rich and compelling discography, coursing with ease through electronic music's various forms. From warm Chicago house through to deep, dark and driving techno on labels like Deeply Rooted House, Stroboscopic Artefacts and more, Kopp's hypnotic and heady sentiment has remained the red thread throughout, which has allowed him to ?ourish as one of techno's more liberal dance ?oor purveyors. More recently, for Illian Tape he strayed out of the ring entirely to deliver two billowing, orchestral-sized ambient works; proof that there's still plenty more to come from someone already so well-versed and dexterous in his craft. It's high time then, that Jonas Kopp should present his ?rst full-length effort. "Beyond The Hypnosis" weaves Kopp's discursive repertoire into a single and concise narrative, covering both familiar ground and exploring new and spellbinding territories, along with just a hint of cosmic neo-retroism that makes this a welcomed edition to the Tresor catalogue. Despite having just a single release on the label so far, "X" featuring on DJ Hell's 2013 Kern Vol.2 compilation, Kopp has been a ?rm ?xture at the club since 2011. Jonas Kopp is the next in line of contemporary luminaries that Tresor proudly welcomes to the fold. "Beyond The Hypnosis" is a techno album as ambiguous and unrestrained as its astrological muse. This is Kopp at his most wayfaring with titles like "Seven" and "Green Square" showing off more of the producer's ?are for spacey, subaqueous music. There is of course plenty of ?oor-facing material as well, delivered with less stringent functionality than we've seen from him before. The perverted "Tau Ceti", for example, or the basement-dwelling single "Red Plented" have been tarnished with the same brush as this album's more dreamier moments, setting them apart from stand-along experiments to work collectively as a symbiotic and fully-?eshed whole.

Jonas Kopp is the man in charge of our label's new and latest release. The Argentinean DJ and producer is one of the most prolific in the scene: he records for the best labels, never stops remixing and has gigs almost everywhere. And of course, he also runs his own imprint, Traut Muzik. His trademark sound is given a twist here. 'Westphalia' is an effective track but slowly paced; solid drums start the arrangement until the metallic flanged sequence comes in slowly, as well as the 909 hats. Two minutes later, more percussive elements appear, bright claves, more emphasis on the hats, and the sequence keeps mutating and evolving constantly. Oscar Mulero delivers two different versions of 'Westphalia': the rmx B version is a stripped down, clean, dubby remake, taking away all the heavy components and focusing on the liquidness. The other workout keeps the pressure of the original, using a short loop of the main sequence, making things more cyclical and hypnotic, while keeping the energy alive. Closing the release is 'Circinus', closer to Mills-style sci-fi techno, with bell-like arpeggios, opaque bass drums and percussion galore.

Juan Atkins' Infiniti project combines raw tactility and puristic elegance with Skynet, where slinking grooves mask chaotic frequencies and roughly-hewn structure.
Alongside fellow Detroit legend Terrence Dixon who appears on several tracks, Atkins exposes the life and emotion in machines, outputting a biomorphic atmosphere of industrial soul.
The ongoing importance of this album is indisputable, essential both to techno and to Tresor.

Marcelus returns to Tresor Records with 'Shine', the third EP on the Berlin powerhouse. Following the shiny and warm 'Emerald' EP released a year ago, Marcelus presents here a diverse EP reviewing the many facets of the extra-talented Parisian producer. While the A-side is adamantly tough and aimed to be used and abused in the vault during the most feverish and damp hours, Marcelus offers two delicate and very personal numbers on the B-side. A complex and rich 12" to be discovered in very different listening atmospheres.

S_W_Z_K, - Second City Of The Empire
Following the S_W_Z_K debut album, which came out on Tresor Records before the summer, David Brown offers here further insights into the most recent developments of his new departure. Receiving the help of long-time collaborator and friend Richard Davis, the duo continues its dive into the concrete and metallic landscapes found on their eponymous LP effort. *The Variant & Empires EP however marks somewhat of a slight departure from the obscure experimental investigations previously undertaken. "TC4 Variant" is a roaring number, aiming specially at the dancefloor and taking the duo's energy to its highest point, while "Second City Of The Empire" intimately unveils the deeper side of their enterprise.

*Twelve years ago Tresor Records released Terrence Dixon's debut album 'From The Far Future' - a personal homage to the art and ancestry of techno, culminating in a discursive and dream-like course through the genre's many tomes, complete with subtle nods to key protagonists such as Kraftwerk, Derrick May and Juan Atkins. A luminescent and ethereal catalogue of tracks awash with shimmery synths and taught rhythmical programming - that still holds true today, 'From The Far Future' made for a stunning first full length that cemented Dixon's already proven credentials from his Population One work and Utensil Records foundations. *After a string of stylistically rich releases - including another album, 'Train Of Thought', this time for Cologne-based label Yore Records - the Detroit native returns to Tresor Records with 'From The Far Future Pt.2' - an ambitious, scopey and deeply personal sequel." 'From The Far Future' was special in many ways. It's over 12 years later and seems like yesterday to me, it really does," says Dixon. " 'From The Far Future Pt.2' is my real life drama playing out before your ears, it has everything on this album that has something to do with where I live. I wanted to make this album as huge as it could be. This is a statement album. A variety of tracks from a minimal point of view." *Taking the form of a fourteen-track CD and double vinyl LP, with just three overlaying tracks - the bubbly "Fountain of Life", uplifting "Horizon" and stung out "The Study", as well as two different versions on the atmospheric builder "Dark City of Hope" - 'From The Far Future Pt.2' is a masterful and extensive techno album that alludes to - without relying on - Dixon's Detroit heritage and affinities. Tracks like the CD's three dystopic numbers: "Path to Mystery", "The Auto Factory" and "Lead by Example", for example, deploy recognisable tropes of techno past, spun into a unique and inherently modern Dixon vernacular.
*Elsewhere, warm syncopated house ("Self Centered"), wonky jazz ("The Switch"), grainy dub textures ("My Journey Here") and smoky ambience ("Vision Blurry") complete this rewardingly heterogeneous CD. Complementing the headiness of the CD, the eight-track vinyl version of 'From The Far Future Pt.2' has been curated squarely with the dance floor in mind, allowing Dixon's shrewd beat-smithery to come to the fore. *From the tough and punchy rhythms of "Light of Day" and "Band Together" to the discordant canters of jangly anthem "Sleight of Mind" and dubby "11th Floor", there's something here for any fan of freewheeling and well-versed techno.

*Succeeding Tresor’s landmark 250th release, Infiniti - The Remixes: a re-issue and remix package of selected tracks from Juan Atkins’ two LP’s as Infiniti, the Berlin powerhouse continues to push forward with the signing of fresh techno talent, Marcelus. *At just 25-years old and still in the inchoate phase of his production career, Cédric Bros- based in Paris—has already proven a level of sonic maturity and scope with his first two EPs for DJ Deep‘s Deeply Rooted House label. Assimilating the essence of early Detroit with modern Berlin, Marcelus’ brand of tough euphoric techno has found a true home on Tresor Records in both calling up the tropes of its back catalogue, whilst remaining thoroughly in tone with today’s darker dancehalls. *Turning in four tracks of increasingly dystopian proportions, the EP begins with “Super Strength”—a tone-setting chug through the swirling vistas of some 90’s imagined future. “Falcon” continues the retroactive theme with detuned chimes, switching up the pace into a more urgent march through plush hisses and crashes. “Radical Groove” is the EP’s feverish peak, a manic headless workout before pealing into blissed out reprieve with “Suspension”. *A rubber ball bassline bounds through melancholic ambiance in this poignantly beautiful closer, perfectly tailored for those subdued floor moments.
