Catherine Ringer is the former singer from the famous French band "Les Rita Mitsouko" formed by Fred Chichin (her former husband) and herself. We already know their big success in France, Belgium, Switzerland… From the hit "Marcia Baila" in 1985 to their last album "Variety" in 2007, they have worked with lots of famous bands and singers such as Tony Visconti, Iggy Pop, the Sparks, Jesse Johnson, William Orbit, Serj Tankian...
In 2009, Catherine decided that it was time to composed and produced her first solo album on her own.
In collaboration with Mark Kerr, Azzedine Djelil and Jean-Baptiste Brunhes in her own studio (Studio Six) she recorded different instruments from piano to drums...
She also reworked Rendez-vous, a track recorded in 1998 with Coba, the japanese accordion-player and adapted the "Adagietto" from Mahler.
In February 2010, it's ready, 17 dancing songs from which she will pick up 12 tracks to mix, arrange...
Catherine will choose the groove master then, RZA that will accept !
They will finish the album at Paramount Studio, 10 days of arrangements, Catherine will come and go the funk guitars, soul, hip hop & the incredible John Frusciante from Red Hot Chili Peppers.... Yo !
Then, Catherine will select the recordings from LA, she will finish by herself the arrangement at Studio Francis and will proceed to the final mix with... Mark Plati !

British born, Berlin based DJ, producer and sound designer Tommy Four Seven, or known to some as just T47, is at the front of the new generation of Techno artists, creating his trademark deep and uncompromising sounds. Learning to DJ from a young age, at 17, Tommy held a 2 year residency at Fire Club, London whilst appearing at legendary venues such as Fabric, The End and Turnmills. Producing was also an early interest and Tommy soon began releasing on David Duriez's, Brique Rouge and Kill Brique label, before launching his own imprint called Shooting Elvis. After studying Music Technology in London, Tommy moved to Berlin and has been steadily building his catalogue of strong, moody and hypnotic tracks such as his 2009 hit, 'Surma' on Speedy J's Electric Deluxe and more recently, 'Sor' on CLR, not forgetting the before mysterious 'Bauhaus' project with Chris Liebing. Tommy's approach to music is unlike a musician. Instead, he prefers to sound design, recording and sculpting elements into deep engaging atmospheres. An impressive example of this extraordinary production ethos is debut artist album "Primate", just released on CLR. When Chris Liebing first listened to it, he was immediately fascinated and amazed. This different avenue of Techno seemed to be perfectly in line with the new, slightly more free-spirited and experimental CLR philosophy. That is why apart from offering to release the record, he even got involved with the finishing touches of the production, helping to make (as Tommy called it) "the bass sound mega-hot". Therefore CLR proudly presents an upcoming series of remixes out of Tommy´s album tracks starting with "RATU" remixed by PERC and "G" remixed by REGIS.

In June 2011 DJ Phono will release his first Album on Hamburg’s record label Diynamic. "Welcome To Wherever You’re Not" is a work of heart, of emotions of awakened, flourishing, and unrequited feelings. It’s something of a kind that could neither be accomplished within a nights work nor even in a cycle of nights, but only in good time. DJ Phono and his producer Jimi Siebels (A DIFFERENT JIMI / EGOEXPRESS / IT’S RECORDS) allowed themselves to take this time, two years, to be precise. “I didn’t work consistently on this album, but waited for those moments, that enabled me to work out of a certain emotion. This very often made it possible to capture this momentary emotion within my music. For me these are those sublime moments, that a musician is sometimes lucky to have – the feeling of being able to manifest a mood in music. Music and musician as a medium, if you like... During the last year, I was often in an emotional state that led to these kinds of moments and allowed me to do just that. And of course Jimi is a very special character with a discerning sense for little inconspicuous details.” The outcome – "Welcome To Wherever You’re Not" – is an album that DJ Phono likes to hear himself. And Jimi probably does as well. It defines itself in an interjacent, between here and there, between main floor and backroom, between big and small, between yesterday, today and tomorrow, between pop and club, or in short: in between worlds. At Hamburg’s fish market, not far from the Pudel Club where DJ Phono feels at home, they will lament the amount of meat being displayed while at the Schlachthof meat market, just opposite of Phono’s studio, some say they sense the smell of fish. The florist around the corner however is full of praise for the wide variety of rank growth. One quality all 12 songs from "Welcome To Wherever You’re Not" have in common is their remarkable fashion of elegant reserve. They politely, cautiously, discreetly ask for a bit of attention without letting themselves get hustled into oblivion. „Soll ich ein Loch graben?“ however stands out as it unfolds into an imposing 8 ? minute (rave) drama: all the hands go up in the air when the bass drum finally kicks in towards the middle of the song. Yet in the end even this rogue result appears as the nice, little brother of those saw tooth monsters. There is no danger of dehydration, blackouts or serious organ failure. Instead this musical smiley just spreads sunny euphoria. The rest is euphony. Björn Beneditz (WCW Gallery) and Carola Wagenplast (Jochen Schmith) took up on the essence of the music, which inspired the creation of a sublime booklet bearing the hallmark of "Welcome To Wherever You’re Not". Each album will be handcrafted and is therefore an individual piece of art. DJ Phono will be introducing this album live. For this reason he has collaborated with the world famous and
stylistically leading artist group JOCHEN SCHMITH - who are renowned for their conceptual works in rooms and spaces and have developed a one of a kind stage show that will be introduced on occasion of the release tour in Autumn 2011. Together they have concieved a delicate and yet serene chorography made of silicon crystals and computer science in the context of club music. Self-constructed prototypes made of robot technology perform a mechanic dance notation and sanctimoniously seduce girls and boys. Sound and visuals coalesce in a symbiosis and let us reach the destination of our voyage. shubha yatra.

Atoi is a band from Copenhagen, Denmark, that reaches for threads to hold on to, which turns in to funny balls of yarn and colourful sweaters. The music is knit together by four individuals that in assembly creates a diverse outcome, played with an ever-changing instrumentation and odd pop melodies. It is fine Scandinavian electronic indie with a touch of northern melancholy - soundscapes and sweet pop melodies, which makes you drift off to far away shores.The band released their cover of Björk's "Army of Me" on her own record "Army of Me - Remixes and Covers" and in February 2009 they released their debut album Youth Machine. To accompany the album, a remix EP was released, featuring remixes of different album tracks by renowned producers such as Opiate (Thomas Knak), Kasper Bjørke (Filur) and MhM One (Tartelet Records). The stunning papercut artwork for both releases has been created by Danish artist MaMaMo.Atoi has been a well-known figure in the Danish underground for some time, and the band has played concerts at some of the most recognized venues and festivals in Denmark - and was also picked out for the Jenny Wilson tour in Denmark.

„If archetypal rock music claims „Satisfaction” then the rhythmachine requieres emotion” wrote Kodwo Eshun in his 1998 book „More Brilliant Than The Sun: Adventures in Sonic Fiction.” Today, almost ten
years later, his theory is still correct, and it shows that his idea is explosive when the rhythmachine is programmed against the common sense. Steven Ford aka Bruno Pronsato knows all of this, because
he knows rock music and its creative dead end street. He knows because he played in several rock bands in his hometown of Seattle, trying time and again to play the same songs, and the same rhythms in new ways. But that's a long time ago. Now, more than five years later, he generates music via synthezisers and computers - emotional rhythms far beyond any kind of cliché. His new longplayer „Why can’t we be like us” embodies his old passion for playing the drums as well as his addiction to ones and zeros. Instead of creating streamlined minimal, he has more of an abstract sound on his mind - one that lives on a dark, organic and percussive note. Nothing really new, he has always been unpredictable and funky with an organic twist between the beats. His tracks often rely on devious turns, flickering sounds, warm basslines and some free riding vocals. They still do, but more importantly now, they are more musical, more space filling and above all, much more percussive. His intention here is to provide you with a long player - not a compilation of danceable clubtracks. He wants to tell a story and he does it with nine long, grooving compositions that are full of rhythms that twist around bubbling sounds that seem to launch out of his very own inner space: sometimes a piano melody is dancing in space, then an undefinable vibrancy chirps out of the background, and in the next moment some unheared buzzing sighs in time and space. The only real red threat you can feel deeply is a soulful climax towards the last track „Why Can’t We Be Like Us”. A story-arc that makes his album look like a book that releases emotions via rhythms from chapter to chapter. An experimenting, playful track-architecture that never reacts too apparent with our nervous systems. This album feels like a locigal progression from his E.P.’s for labels like Orac, Philpot, Hello?Repeat and his creative powers as one part of the duo Half Hawaii on Perlon. Musical suspense that processes feelings and soul through electronic vibrations. Everything sounds like Bruno Pronsato plays it himself on his machines and follows the „I am an instrument”-dictum of the spacy free jazzer sun ra. He still maintains his own inner sound and translates it into unheard arrangements. To quote Kwodo Eshun ones more: „Drum and electronica converge in a new space of rhythmatic and syncussion!”

Maurizio Vitello returns to Metroline with some seriously deep bass-driven techno. A devastating EP. The lead track is a driving, stripped down techno groove. Full-bodied toms and a seriously fat bass keep the track rolling while filtered vocals and understated synths add the dynamics. Heavy!
Looking Good keeps that groove going with a bassline so heavy you'll have to pick yourself up off the floor. A bubbling percussion break evolves throughout the track, building in complexity, but kept in check by some nice metronomic hats at the high end. On Movers Maurizio lets the drums do the talking. Everything locks tightly around the solid kicks. The multi-layered break adds a sweet Cubano vibe that you simply won't be able to shake off. Let the bass drrrrooopppp! Pleased? Yes we are. This playful track is going set the summer floors on fire. Vocal samples weave in and out of the mix, and sharp-as-a-needle 80s-tinged synths stab through the deep, heavy rhythm track to awesome effect.
