This solid five tracker crosses the boundaries of house and techno flawlessly. Woody McBride is a legendary acid and techno DJ from Minneapolis and a hero within the history of American rave culture. His string of solid originals and banging remixes under his belt include contributions to labels like Ovum, Bush, Tresor, and Communique Recordings. "Guten Timen," McBride's new effort for Full Flavor, is a 'good time' tune in three parts. The original sets the mood as a peak time tech stomper complete with "I Feel Love" arpeggiator, chuggin' bass line, and a dubbed out vocal. The Techno Mix takes all these elements to a more minimal vibe for maximum DJ manipulation.
