Nicholas Iammatteo, better known as simply Nicholas to most has racked up an impressive backcatalogue since stepping onto the scene in 2011, racking up material on some of the industries leading imprints such as Quintessentials, 4lux, Home Taping Is Killing Music and Needwant. Opening the single is title cut 'Pressure', kicking things off in style with an upfront dance floor workout, driven by Nicholas's signauture heavily swung drums, a raw stabby bass hook and incredibly tight production skills. Following we have 'Break Thru', which employs a classic rave stab sequence, earth-shattering 909 rhythms and mesmerizing Juno style pads, again we see Nicholas do what he does best here, taking a failsafe format of a house composition, yet crafting it so beautifully and with such precision that it stands out in all its unique glory as a recognizable piece of work from Iammatteo. Entering the latter half of the 12'' we have 'Body Drum', which delves deeper into dub territory with low-slung dusty drums, swirling dub chords, hypnotic vocal licks and tension building strings. Then closing track 'I Believe' demonstrates Iammatteo's housier side, again with shuffling drums laying the foundations. While a bulbous bass hook drives the bottom end and Nicholas cleverly manipulates anamalgamation of vocal snippets and string samples. More

The mysterious Love Drop continues his homage to the classic raw sounds of days gone by as he drops an anthemic and pounding slice of House music for Home Taping.
With his trademark moody grooves and heavy delays he builds a vibe which is guaranteed to set any dance floor on fire.
Keeping it raw and proper with a generous pinch of soul and more than a touch of badass, Love Drop just moved things up to the next level. Less is definitely more as he destroys the floor. On the flip, Dicky Trisco plays to the emotional strength of the original and delivers a highly polished heads-down, dubbed out version for the club.
While rising star of the scene Dan Shake raises the tempo and treats us to a raw and funky workout to complete a very fine package indeed.

Way back then Home Taping dropped a release by an anonymous act called Klic that turned out to be another moniker for a Medlar production.
Now the imprint re-launch the original alongside a couple of mighty remixes by the Tuff City Kids - in both Acid and Garage modes - plus an extension and rework of the original vibes by Dicky Trisco that pushes the proper Deep House meets Disco button.
All the remixes sit nice and proud alongside the still shining brilliance of the original cut. More

The Revenge is back at the controls for Home Taping!!!The Scottish DJ and producer kicked things off on the imprint back in 2009 with his 'Forever In Their Debt' release, which grabbed the attention of House DJs around the globe. The second vinyl sampler features the production skills of some very exciting, emerging new artists. First up is Deep Space Orchestra from the UK. Having recently caught the eye of Gilles Peterson and top house imprints like Delusions of Grandeur, it seems that DSO’s music is now starting to get the attention that it deserves. Andy Ash from Liverpool is another producer who has been consistently turning out top quality underground house sounds for a number of years now, most notably for The Revenge’s L.E.S.S. edits series. Meanwhile, Italian producer Nicholas’s blend of disco edits and original 90s house sounds has been creating quite a stir, and has seen his standing as a producer grow weekly with various releases on imprints like Small World Disco, Mo More Hits, Kojak & Dikso already, as well as an increasing demand for remix work. The first Hometaping compilation is made up of two vinyl samplers and a full blown CD compilation.
