After two years in the making, Aus Music, !K7 and Wordandsound are proud to announce the release of Scottish producer Sei A's third full length, Space in Your Mind. Two singles from the ten track opus-'Ancestors' and 'Space In Your Mind,' complete with DJ Tennis remixes-will come ahead of the full release on February 26th 2016. Sei A is Andy Graham, an ever-evolving producer who has cooked up many different shades of house and techno since emerging in 2008.
From dark and melodic to well swung and bass heavy, he is not one to repeat the same trick twice as two former LPs and more than 15 EPs on labels like Turbo, Life And Death, Kompakt and Aus/Simple have proved before now. As if to cement the point, this full length finds Graham straying from the dance floor to cook up a fulsome album that stands up to introspective home listening.
"The LP came from writing a lot of music in a short space of time," says Graham. "I felt I had grasped a sound and I wanted to expand it further. Musically I was finding that the material had much more space within the sound, with the main structure of it being melodies, therefore giving it quite a rich feel throughout. I was also aiming to expand on writing actual songs that take in verse/chorus, verse/chorus structures." And he has sure accomplished that, because with the help of guest collaborators Will Samson and Daudi Matsiko on four tracks, Space in Your Mind is an absorbing listen with many melodies and vocal lines lingering long in the memory.

In the wake of Bicep's 'Just' EP - AUS Music continue to maintain their momentum and welcome back Sei A. Having releases records on Turbo, Kompakt and Hemlock - the London via Glasgow producer marks his welcome return with 'Gasp' - his first contribution to the label since November 2013.
Sei A is an artist who has astutely diversified his sound with each and every piece of output and whilst his catalogue has strayed left of centre it's consistently remained punctuated with the sort of muscular club material that's given him a steady home at AUS. His latest offering is one that fans of 'Make It Work' and 'Wants' will relish as it melds moody, syncopated grooves with nifty vocal snips and capacious breakdowns.
The title track unfolds behind an arresting loop that - propelled by a dense thud, gathers percussive whacks and a prowling bass pattern. Vocal clips fall in and out before a truncated breakdown snaps back in and catches the listener off guard. 'Never Wander' then builds behind sizzling hi hats and a tape-driven kick. Mournful chord shifts are spread overhead before a sharp electric bass pattern is driven in from underneath.
Suffused with tape-driven texture '4ME2' then unfolds behind a tumbling sequence that's gently bent out of shape. A thick wall of sound then snowballs bringing with it a rasping bass tones and vast, heart-rending chord shifts that seal off yet another addition to a long list of triumphs on AUS.

Sei A relaunches his own Seinan Music imprint after a 2 year hiatus. This release marks the 10th release for Seinan in over 5 years, showing that they believe in quality over quantity, or, they are incredibly lazy. You decide. It has been a productive 12 months for Sei A with releases on likes of Hemlock, Kompakt, Simple and Turbo. '10' has already been making waves amongst DJs such as Will Saul, Maya Jane Coles, Jacques Greene, Martyn and many others. The EP consists of 3 equally strong tracks; 'Wants', 'Promises' & '10'. Lead track 'Wants' crosses between NY/Chicago styles. It's stripped, back to basic house with an added rolling bassline and vocal snippets that keeps everything ticking along. 'Promises' takes a more direct approach within it's structure. No breaks, leading to a set builder aimed straight for the dance floor. '10' ventures into a deeper sound, with it's large pads and melodies crossing throughout but still focusing on a dance floor tip. 'Wants' has also had plays on Tiga's BBC6 Music show, Turbo's Boiler Room session, Rinse FM, an early, positive review on Teshno and a premier stream via Fact Magazines website. 2013 will see Seinan Music continue it's resurrection with a number of quality releases planned before the end of the year.

Sei A aka Andy Graham is one of the most promising producers from the new Glasgow scene. His debut album ‚Editing Shadows‘ earned him the respect and support of a wide range as his sound is influenced by dubstep, deep house as well as techno, filled with rich textures, moody atmospheres, subtle psychedelia and haunting vocals. Add to that an instinctual gift for melody and the romantic character of his vocal flourishes, and one gets a clearer mpicture why Sei A is attracting such admiration as a producer, performer, and remixer. Having recently been commissioned by Booka Shade, Jori Hulkkonen, and Tiga, among others, Sei A also has remixes in the works for Terence Fixmer and Azari & III.

The new album ,White Rainbow‘ is front loaded with a pair of harder-edged tracks but opens up to reveal an impressive range of music, from the two-step UK bass-fest of ‚Who Dares Wins‘, the shimmering lead of ‚Out of Reason‘, the Aphex-like pads in ‚Star of Stealth‘, through the beautiful ambient interludes to the Burial-like dubstep finale of ‚Meth II‘, this is a record that rewards repeat listening „I have been a major fan of Sei A‘s music since the first track I bought.“ says Tiga. „I was shocked at the quality then, and I am still amazed by the consistent innovation of his tracks. 2 years on, and I STILL have never been disappointed by a track. ‚White Rainbow‘ for me is modern techno at its finest - a rare techno album that works in the clubs and at home. I just can‘t wait till the anti-glaswegian.

Whereas Frozen Flower marked his most delicate and emotive release to date, the latest EP from Sei A snaps things back onto a futuristic grid of bass-driven club madness. Break the Pattern is a techno zap-fest featuring a killer hook, precision, laser-cut drums and a rough, rolling groove. Flux blends retro video game sounds with vocal samples, laid out against a psychedelic cha-cha rhythm. This one received early support from Martyn who - fresh off his LP release - weighs in with one of his strongest and most playable remixes in recent memory, driving the 8-bit riff into a frenzy, backed by iron-clad beats bouncing atop a megaton sub.. Guaranteed crowd-pleaser, this one! Dam Swindle have been helping to define the underground house sound for a decade, not least with their Heist label. The pair deal in timeless, fad-free sounds that are rich with dance floor dynamics and hint at a love of everything from disco to tech and plenty in between. They are notorious crate diggers who have played the world's most cultured clubs, their recent track Allright (Just A Tribute) on Phonica’s 20 year celebration has received widespread love by DJ’s this summer on the festival circuit and now they offer up two more of their studio gems for their 3rd full release on Aus.

New school house and garage tastemaker and core Aus Music family member K-LONE steps up with a remix hot on the heels of his two-part EP series on the label. His version of 'The Last Time' is typically deft as soft focus chords swirl around prickly garage house beats. The distant vocal, the cavernous bass and the wistful feel all make it another classic.
Last but not least, Chloe´ Robinson & DJ ADHD are frequent collaborators on labels like Fabric Originals as well as Chloe´’s Pretty Weird imprint where they serve up potent, bass-heavy sounds. Their version of 'Come Back' is expertly stripped back. It teases and pleases with a blend of filthy low- end oscillations, slinky drums and tooting chord hooks that are effortlessly fun and effective.

Space Dimension Controller is an intergalactic musical explorer. His sci-fi sounds paint technicolour pictures
in widescreen. Whether crafting definitive albums like Love Beyond The Intersect on R&S, club-ready EPs
for Aus and Running Back or dropping collections of unreleased tracks on his own Tiraquon Recordings, his
work sounds futuristic yet nostalgic for the past. It is fueled by funk and crafted on synths, hardware, tape
machines and various other imperfect tools that lend it a loveable character.
His Final Quest EP is a "French-inspired" release, which is an influence that predates the Space Dimension
Controller alias and goes back to Hamill's teenage years. It is also the last EP from his current studio before
it is dismantled and moved to Amsterdam sometime this summer.
From start to finish, this new EP showcases Hamill's ability to craft emotionally evocative melodies and
genuinely absorbing soundtracks. Opener 'Jet Free' is awash with filtered synths that are sugary sweet and
underpinned by funky guitar riffs and laissez-faire grooves. The wonderful 'Cryfaze' has rueful pads spiralling
around sleek drums that bounce along next to supple neon arps, while 'Tiraquon's Final Quest' is a bubbling
and elastic rhythm run through with soft acid squelches and pixelated pads full of cosmic charm. '1 4 U' rides
on heavier drums but is no less joyous thanks to the crystalline melodies and dreamy vocals that swell the
heart. Vinyl exclusive 'Acid Funk Sequel' is another playful moon safari with buoyant bass patterns and
snappy drum funk under ever-evolving melodic refrains and 'Beyond2' closes down with forlorn, introspective

Space Dimension Controller is an intergalactic musical explorer. His sci-fi sounds paint technicolour pictures
in widescreen. Whether crafting definitive albums like Love Beyond The Intersect on R&S, club-ready EPs
for Aus and Running Back or dropping collections of unreleased tracks on his own Tiraquon Recordings, his
work sounds futuristic yet nostalgic for the past. It is fueled by funk and crafted on synths, hardware, tape
machines and various other imperfect tools that lend it a loveable character.
His Final Quest EP is a "French-inspired" release, which is an influence that predates the Space Dimension
Controller alias and goes back to Hamill's teenage years. It is also the last EP from his current studio before
it is dismantled and moved to Amsterdam sometime this summer.
From start to finish, this new EP showcases Hamill's ability to craft emotionally evocative melodies and
genuinely absorbing soundtracks. Opener 'Jet Free' is awash with filtered synths that are sugary sweet and
underpinned by funky guitar riffs and laissez-faire grooves. The wonderful 'Cryfaze' has rueful pads spiralling
around sleek drums that bounce along next to supple neon arps, while 'Tiraquon's Final Quest' is a bubbling
and elastic rhythm run through with soft acid squelches and pixelated pads full of cosmic charm. '1 4 U' rides
on heavier drums but is no less joyous thanks to the crystalline melodies and dreamy vocals that swell the
heart. Vinyl exclusive 'Acid Funk Sequel' is another playful moon safari with buoyant bass patterns and
snappy drum funk under ever-evolving melodic refrains and 'Beyond2' closes down with forlorn, introspective

Having met for the first time at Cinthie's Elevate store in early 2021 for her DJ Kicks launch party, the compilation featuring one of Dabbs' earlier tracks, Amy Dabbs & Athlete Whippet stayed in touch, which culminated in the decision to start working together in the studio in their shared hometown of Berlin.
Amy Dabbs has released a string of lauded 12"s since her 2020 debut, including her latest highly acclaimed EP on Shall Not Fade, in addition to collaborating with Coco Bryce, launching her own imprint Dabbs Traxx last year, and featuring regularly on BBC Radio1 Dance.
Athlete Whippet, headed up by Robin Braum, have delivered a myriad of esteemed releases across Toy Tonics, Rhythm Section and Tartelet, which have earned heavy support from Pete Tong, Jamz Supernova and Tom Ravenscroft, to name a few.
Teaming up for the first time here, Amy Dabbs & Robin Braum deliver a fiery three-tracker for Will Saul's Aus Music, covering a variety of moods across the versatile EP. Mark Hawkins readies ‘Venn Diagram’ album for Aus Music this May.
Mark Hawkins’ early releases on labels such as Djax Up Beats and Ugly Funk lit flares in the world of
underground techno, with a sense of humour and tougher-than-thou sonic palette enforced via his jacking live
sets. Across the following decades, Mark has delivered razor sharp cuts that encompass pretty much
anything that has an electronic heart - leaving his own unique trail for others to follow via his work for labels
as diverse as Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, Sonic Mind, Mistress Recordings, Houndstooth and Aus.
With his latest album, it feels like Mark has pushed ahead with a change of direction he started with 2021’s
‘The New Normal’. ‘Venn Diagram’ carries on this journey into uncharted lands; molten, distorted drum
assaults weave around glistening melodies, kitchen sink soul glides below fractured sound pools. Opener
‘Verblex Oscillos’ immediately demands your attention grabbing, with a so-happy-it’s-sad melody spiralling
around a cascade of tough-as-fuck dance floor destroying beats, along with ‘Isolated’s urgent combination of
strings, acid and chicago-tough electro beats.
Other cuts on the album share a similar approach, ‘Maladayfun Friction’s restless energy derives from a fusion
of skittering drums and deranged synths and ‘Still Have Time’s dreamy super saw pads and plaintive vocal
espouse a kind of wasted elegance, roaming the city nightlife in a Gucci dress and Doc Martin boots.
‘Nlasckhdsjk’ and ‘Frederikalstublieft’ propel forward with such a sleek and effervescent aesthetic, recalling

Jet-setting Irish duo Bicep return to Will Saul's Aus label with two steady analog techno grooves ready for deployment in either their own wildly celebrated sets or those of any DJ looking for modern dance tracks that are still faithful to the classics - this is techno that hasn't forgotten where it came from, essentially.
Using gritty, vintage-sounding rhythm sections as solid foundations, each track gradually builds up its own lush, melodic embellishments overtop - "Circles" stays true to its name with a cyclical main melody, shadowy bass and fuzzy house pads, whereas "NRG106" sets spacey, dramatic chords and breathy vocals against the insistent, chittering machine percussion.
As usual these two esteemed bloggers / DJs / artists / all around polymaths prove themselves to be paragons of taste, but here it's clear that they are also steadily growing as producers, taking on different styles with aplomb and making it all look much easier than it really is.

Not quite content with already chalking up two of the biggest EPs of 2013 so far from Midland and Dusky, Aus return once again with yet another release you’ve been waiting for - the return of Belfast’s biggest sons, Bicep. The London-based duo of Andrew Ferguson and Matthew McBriar had a breakthrough year in 2012, four years after the pair's Feel My Bicep blog first began. The past year has seen them play in more than a dozen countries, including major gigs across the US, China and, more recently, Australia, with particular highlights including a peak time set at Berlin’s haloed Panorama Bar and capacity crowds at both Sub Club and Trouw. In addition to the release of “You/ Don’t” on Aus, the boys also inaugurated their own imprint With the Visions Of Love EP, whilst "$tripper", which was released through Love Fever, came in at number 35 on RA's top 50 tracks of 2012 poll. Further to that they scooped the award for DJ Mag’s Best Breakthrough DJ, supplied Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space show with an exclusive mix of unreleased material, remixed Ripperton’s “Let’s Hope,” and all the while maintaining the DJ treasure trove that is their blog.
