Newly established Berlin-based vinyl-only label Dreiklang dive straight into the physical world with First Contact. The label's distinctive triangular concept is reflected in its name with Dreiklang pursuing a three-fold approach to electronic music. Each release presents three contrasting takes on the same source material, juxtaposing and unifying three particular electronic music sub-currents. For their first outing, Dreiklang call upon an international team of producers with OCH, Hydergine and Kelovolt dropping in for their respective shots of tech-house, dub techno, and dark drone techno. The tight three-tracker will see the light of day on a 500 limited edition run of 180gr high-quality wax with the beautiful hand-drawn designs of Berlin artist Nils Altland gracing each sleeve, transforming the covers into individual works of arts. First up on Dreiklang001 is Londoner OCH (Autoreply / Stuga Musik), who takes a simple keyboard line into menacing territory, steering the dancefloor towards the grittier ends of tech-house. A funky bassline leads the way as distant synths exhale in glossy metalic fashion and the road is adequately paved for the reinterpretations that follow. Second up, comes Hydergine. The Italian producer lives up to his brain enhancement drug name by dropping a smart dub-techno rework where mind-numbing kicks bring the listener on an atmospheric joyride through the deeper ends of narcosis. Kelovolt complete the triangle with an immersive remix where drone-heavy soundscapes take center stage for a delicately hypnotic finale. First Contact is out December 16th on Dreiklang.

Och - Psychedelic Concentration
It's out of the shadows and into the light with the next release on Ornate music. At the reins is OCH, a name you might not have heard in a while, but whose solid and reliable CV names Sect, All Inn, Baby Ford's Trelik and PalL SL among his label references. In all honesty, it's like he never went away. We get three cuts of precision deepness. Lean, rather than minimal, these are fat-free, perfectly balanced excursions into the ethereal edges of house. Tight claps, subtle, eerie vocal samples that drift in and out of the mix, the mood is uplifting without any need for euphoric histrionics. This is refined music that won't sound out of place on the floor at CDV or Sunwaves, whenever we can return to the dancefloor. Or, in the meantime, kicking back at home when the sun unexpectedly brightens the winter mood. if you ever wanted to know what a beautiful day sounds like, now you know.

OCH's release rate has been sturdy since he first emerged in 2010, but he's hitting his stride like never before as he follows up last year's "Love Unconditional" for London's Trelik with a new double 12" EP for his own Autoreply label. All the hallmarks of his sound are in place, from intricate and delicate melodic threads to immersive house and techno rhythms, all draped in the kind of atmospheric finery that can't fail to transport you to otherworldly places. By keeping a cool head about what to use and when, OCH has once again demonstrated his talent for reduced but verdant dance music that speaks volumes without having to shout.

London's Trelik returns to an artist perfectly in tune with the current stance of the British house and techno institution. OCH has been grafting in the European underground for more than ten years shaping out a truly formidable back catalogue. He first appeared on Trelik with Whalesong in 2011, while he's also contributed to Baby Ford's equally revered PAL SL label on more than one occasion. In addition, highly-regarded outposts such as All Inn, Systematic and Bass Culture have all given OCH the stamp of approval, while his own Autoreply label has continued to be a vital facet on the frontline of the scene. This latest three-track EP finds OCH on sublime form, working to a crisp, classic house template with the uncluttered precision one expects from a Trelik release. The title track struts proudly out in front with its hooky DX7 lead, while "More Journeys" builds up to a tougher, psychotropic blend. "Sunday Love" provides a perfect soulful tonic to round the EP off, rich with warm keys and irresistible shuffle. Mastered at D & M.

London born D. Lean lives in the windswept Swedish countryside on the outskirts of Stockholm. His surroundings have a notable influence on the sound of the Autoreply Music boss. Expansive and absorbing techno with a nod to the classic sounds and techniques of the genre. After two excellent 10" singles and a remix of Ken Ishii and Romboy's single "Taiyo", Lean released an appetiser ahead of this double CD album of the same name, "Time Tourism. This long player is a classy, deep and delicate dark electronica album in the tradition of Detroit techno, which gets taken on a trippy, tracky and repetitive journey.

D. Lean comes originally from London but lives in the countryside of Sweden, not far away from Stockholm. And this geographical circumstance seem to influence has sound because the label owner of Autoreply Music likes dark and Detroitish techno music a lot. After two highly anticipated 10" single and a remix of Ken Ishii and Romboy's single "Taiyo", Lean releases the forerunner track of his upcoming double CD album which has the same name "Time tourism", out in March 2016. The package comes around with three totally different versions: OCH's original in a techno influenced classical deep house coat, Baby Ford in a typical trippy and repetitive tracky way and Romboy shows us his groovier shades we know from his remixes for Terrence Parker on Planet e or his remix for Gorge on Freerange.

Following on from his 2010 "Dickens Tracks" EP for London's PAL SL, OCH drops the eagerly awaited 2nd edition to the series. As a producer his sound stands out through fusing stripped-back, jackin' drums with sharp, swinging hats always adding an injection of analog warmth through sparse, synth arrangements.A A1's "Cross Check" stays true to the labels early roots by using the bare essentials of house music to create a hypnotic, highly effective floor-mover.A On the flip, "Star Of Hope" is an interlude, set-starter or vinyl DJ tool. B2's "The Magic Flute" has a relaxed, sunny chicago feeling teasing with lush samples, driving bass and rock-solid beats. Mastered at D & M.

Autoreply boss Dicken Lean aka OCH returns to Sect, a UK label waddling in the dubbier end of techno. OCH first appeared on Sect in 2011 when the label released It's All For You, compilation, an extensive selection of deeper techno cuts from artists like Jeroen Search, Jolka, AnD and Fanon Flowers. OCH's track "Tears" made the cut, which reappears on his latest Surveillance Network missive, only having undergone a murky Skirt remix. "Linear Progression" sees OCH's love of tribal percussion thrown in among resonators and reverb, while "Up For Lost" features unusually suitable bongo drumming pitched against filtered saw waves that sweep across the tracks face. "Shattered Dreams" closes the EP with something Disney sounding, but given the cloudy Actress treatment.

Hot on the heels of his critically acclaimed Whalesong EP for Trelik, OCH returns with another equally crucial deep club orientated two tracker. The A Side cut, "Sophisticated Animated", contains a level of funk and energy that is often lost in today's house music. Being constantly inspired by the US pioneers of the genre, OCH presents stripped back Chicago grooves alongside heavy analogue bass and jacking percussion, teasing with a sprinkling of 303 acid and a sparse yet deadly piano solo. Up next, "Moonlight Sonata" is OCH's deepest work to date, incorporating dubstep inspired drums and ambience with lush old-school synth chords which build and modulate before the track climaxes into a thundering four to the floor workout. Shrink-wrapped clear vinyl pressing.

London based house imprint Trelik presents OCH who under this anonym initially stepped up for PAL SL and has since bagged winners on Autoreply, Stuga Musik and soon SECT. With a compulsive passion for the dying art of crate-digging combined with a love for modern synthesis techniques he manages to put together a 12" that could easily be described as psychedelic Chicago. Whalesong is a pulsating floor work-out which references the US greats whilst building an emotive sub-aqua soundscape. Blind is The Wind follows with a sneaky chord driven spoken interlude which creates an air of tension before climaxing into Last Chance Saloon. This is deep yet driving showcasing haunting vocals with lush chords alongside the original principles of house music and plenty of bass. Mastered by Rashad at D & M.

Autoreply Music marks the coming of the summer season with a very tidy little 10" from OCH. This man recently recorded for Baby Ford's PAL SL imprint, gaining support from a diverse range of DJing luminaries including ZIP, Sammy Dee and Efdemin. Now the mysterious producer steps up with a big room floor rocker that has been described as Ian Pooley's "Chord Memory" meets Christian Vogel. Thunderous drums, hypnotizing chords and a cheeky sample that the old house heads will be sure to recognise make this one for the peak time. Claro Intelecto's Warehouse Sessions on Modern Love is regarded by many as one of the most definitive collections of contemporary techno to hit the shelves in recent years. Fresh back from remixing Depeche Mode he takes time out of his busy schedule for remix duties. Taking his cues from the warehouse classics that accompanied him through years in Manchester's revered clubs like the Hacienda, Home and Paradise Factory, he serves up a powerful, stripped down reworking of the original track that is equally suited to sweaty dance floors. Fasten your seatbelts.

Shortinfo:
Stellar new EP on the way from Dutch producer Qindek. The rising star has been on the up as of late having released on labels on such Wolfskin Records and Invite's Choice Records. This time he's releasing on vinyl only label Dreiklang who have had some scintillating cuts from Edit-Select (who appears as one of the remixers on this EP) and Claudio PRC.
Qindek has really been honing his skills and is known as much for his flowing DJ sets as he is for his masterful live sets. This level of technique is truly standing to the artist as we can see from his comfortability with hardware shine through on this project.
'Come Closer' will be the fifth release from the label: it features the original mix Come Closer and three remixes from VOLTMAR, Edit-Select, and KUF, which show the different facades of the track. The original cut is a primal, tribal number merged with club elements. It enters with a bongo-like drum that is followed by a hi-hat for some pace. A surreptitious synth floats in and levitates back and forth, which is coupled with fluctuating keys and toms. It's a mesmerizing number with an understated tempo, bringing the forest to the club.
Cologne based artist VOLTMAR takes the first remix. Known as a DJ for many years now, he has performed in clubs across Europe. He tends to enjoy a deeper sound and this is prevalent in his take on the cut. The percussions are deeper and more hollowed, which creates a different kind of sway. It feels more tribal, with more jungle elements to it. It has less synth and more of a heavy bassline, designed to connect people on a primal level.
Next to feature is none other than Edit-Select. The British native is well established in the club scene and does not disappoint with this remix. A more complex sound, he takes the track and elongates it. It's a consistent sound with underground elements and a slight bit of tempo. It has this divine gothic synth that oscillates with a certain lilt to it. The beat is enchanting as the cut slowly diminishes.
The last stand is by Swedish artist Kuf. Known for his energetic sound, this cut does not disappoint. It's a high-velocity all-out assault club banger. It has rolling beats, speedy hi-hats and a tempo that is driven forward by hand claps. It has a skeleton aspect to it, whereas instead of using builds, they add and subtract elements inject an ever-changing pace.
Vital Sales Points:
- Triangular sound concept: three contrasting takes on the same source material, juxtaposing and unifying three particular electronic music sub-currents
- Hand-made covers

Dreiklang welcome Italian native Hydergine on their fourth record; continuing with the label’s triangular remit of three juxtaposing interpretations per vinyl-only release.
The aqueous tones of original track ‘Diving Alone’ fluctuate hazily around one another, with dampened thumps and diluted synths uncovering a carefully crafted murky mystery.
Japanese producer Iori provides the first remix; upping the tempo and twisting the meditative textures with a sound honed through two years living in Berlin, not to mention a pivot towards immersive sci-fi ambience on 2016 album Cold Radiance.
Iconic UK dub techno pioneer JS Zeiter takes the baton on the flipside, having released his Turning Point EP on Hydergine’s Ranges label in 2017. Known for his engrossing Basic Channel influenced productions, Zeiter here dips dreamily above and below the waterline.

A1. Ennio Colaci - Stereoscope
A2. Ennio Colaci - Stereoscope (Tadeo Remix)
B1. Ennio Colaci - Stereoscope (David Hausdorf Remix)
Shortinfo:
Stereoscope is Ennio Colaci's debut in Dreiklang's third triangular composition with Tadeo and David Hausdorf remixes. Having had their first release in 2015, German based Dreiklang marks their third record after releases from Edit Select and Och. It comes from Italian producer Ennio Colaci who is one of the founders of Bosconi Records and produces alongside the owner Fabio Della Torre under the alias Minimono.
Ennio's Stereoscope steers away from Minimono's disco flavoured house orientated sounds, bringing a warm palette of textures in the form of soft noise, percs, dubby delayed chords and a sub kick and bass relationship reminiscent of early dub techno records.
Alongside the title track there are two remixes from David Hausdorf and Tadeo. Tadeo roughens Stereoscope up and introduces a more techy sound, while David Hausdorf dries up the original, moving the focus to the dub chord.
Stereoscope on Dreiklang is a 180g, vinyl only release surfacing in handcrafted record sleeves by Berlin based artist Nils Altland on the 14th of March 2017.

Info:
Dreiklang Records set sail in February 2016 with the excellent First Contact EP which featured OCH, Hydergine and Kelovolt, three singular artists each handing in their own contrasting take on the same source material. The Berlin-based vinyl-only label now returns with the same concept for the Loop Continue EP. For their second release Dreiklang call upon three strong figures of the techno scene, each displaying a highly distinct voice in keeping with the triangular concept of the label: Scottish veteran Edit Select and Italian purveyors of everything dark and deep, Dino Sabatini and Claudio PRC.
The three tracker kicks off with the deep sub-aquatic sounds of Tony Scott aka Edit Select, who produces the original version of Loop Continue, an introspective DJ tool. The Scottish producer goes straight to the point from the very start with a dusky loop that is slowly overcome by a glistening, luxuriant drone.
Claudio PRC hands in a stunning rework. A hypnotizing bass drives the track forward while tranquil chords ease in and out of focus.
Finally, Dino Sabatini, a regular collaborator of Edit Select, drops in fresh from the release of his Omonimo LP. The Outis Music boss closes the EP on a dreamy piece of broken-beat where beautiful glowing drones command attention.
Loop Continue is set for vinyl-only release June 14th on Dreiklang. The records will come as a 180g vinyl with handmade covers by Nils Atland, limited to 500 pieces.
