André Hommen and Gerd Janson have remixed Tensnake's 'The Walk / Keep On Talking'. Forthcoming on Tensnake's own label True Romance, TREP010 'The Walk / Keep on Talking' Remixes will be available on both digital and vinyl from the 14th December. It's arguably the label's biggest remix package since Duke Dumont and Ewan Pearson remixed 'Love Sublime'.

The Pete Tong approved André Hommen - also the creative producer and label manager of Dennis Ferrer's Objektivity imprint - has remixed 'The Walk' on the A-side. A deep, minimalistic beat drives his remix and a smart breakdown introduces the melody from Tensnake's original, pushing all the original elements to higher heights.

'Running Back' label boss Gerd Janson's 'Keep On Talking' RAW mix is set against powerful drums and acid-tinged synths, with a piano-led breakdown echoing the original melody. The Panorama Bar resident and celebrated producer delivers a unique cut formed of several retro influences to provide a cool new twist on Tensnake's upbeat original. The vinyl release also include's Gerd's beats-only version in the 'Gerd Janson RAW beats mix".

Phil Gerus is a natural musical talent who oozes sound from every pore. Fusing together cassette pop, disco, soul, r&b and funk, his sounds are effortless but hugely emotive and have come out on labels like Sonar Kolkektiv, ManMakeMusic (George Fitzgerald's label), Futureboogie and True Romance. Growing up in Moscow, Phil studied classical piano and was heavily influenced by his parents' music tastes, including jazz records of Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, and Keith Jarrett, it is these classy vibes that permeate his own creations. Phil has played around the world at leading clubs like Japan's Dommune, Studio 80 (Amsterdam), Mojo Club (Hamburg) and various hotspots in Europe and Russia. Phil is also a regular guest on radio shows around the planet and is considered as an artist on the rise.

"I've been involved in two or three major genres that are very different from each other," says Vaughn Robert Squire from Canada, better known as Prison Garde, who is making his True Romance debut with our TREP009.
About his 'Melody EP', he says: "It's gospel-influenced house stuff. It's in line with the last couple records that I put out, but I feel like it's a little more mature and that the quality of the recording is a lot higher than anything else I've done as Prison Garde. I recorded it at the Phi Centre in Montreal - it's a beautiful cultural center in the Old Port. Ango and I locked ourselves in there and did a live record on an SSL in a big room."

It's mildly comical, that Tim Wagner and Amy Douglas, two former Long Islanders would choose Sunrise HWY (former Sunrise Highway) as the name for their venture, but one listen to the music, and it's clear as to why they chose such a lofty and expansive name. Sunrise HWY is atmospheric, sophisticated, broad, and most importantly a return to the song as king. After the successful debut EP on True Romance in 2014, we are excited to have the remix EP finally coming out. Damon Palermo is from the Metro Detroit region and currently lives in Los Angeles. He has been making adventurous house and disco music under the moniker Magic Touch since August 2011. In demand at festivals including Sonar, Unsound and CTM, as well as touring Japan, China, South Korea, Australia, Magic Touch is also traveling the world DJing at places like Berlin's legendary Panorama Bar, Lux Frágil, The Shelter Shanghai and Dommune in Tokyo.
