The story begins at the Heideglühen club in Berlin where the True Romance crew saw OJPB play. In the midst of his set he dropped a mysterious track that completely lit the crowd up, it was E-Lane 2 Troy. In this offering, True Romance introduces Montreal based OJPB (also known as Bowly, DÐD, MTSP).
Through this alias, French-born Olivier Borzeix delivers raw and adventurous rhythms sourcing his inspirations in rare funk disco nuggets and the golden age of house music, blending it into what he likes to call : Hypnotic Soul. E-Lane 2 Troy is an uplifting cosmic mind bender. With its brilliant disco loops and infectious trance inducing melody, this is one that will fill and fire up dancefloors all over. Tensnake - The Walk / Keep On Talking Remixes

André Hommen and Gerd Janson have remixed Tensnake's 'The Walk / Keep On Talking'. Forthcoming on Tensnake's own label True Romance, TREP010 'The Walk / Keep on Talking' Remixes will be available on both digital and vinyl from the 14th December. It's arguably the label's biggest remix package since Duke Dumont and Ewan Pearson remixed 'Love Sublime'.

The Pete Tong approved André Hommen - also the creative producer and label manager of Dennis Ferrer's Objektivity imprint - has remixed 'The Walk' on the A-side. A deep, minimalistic beat drives his remix and a smart breakdown introduces the melody from Tensnake's original, pushing all the original elements to higher heights.

'Running Back' label boss Gerd Janson's 'Keep On Talking' RAW mix is set against powerful drums and acid-tinged synths, with a piano-led breakdown echoing the original melody. The Panorama Bar resident and celebrated producer delivers a unique cut formed of several retro influences to provide a cool new twist on Tensnake's upbeat original. The vinyl release also include's Gerd's beats-only version in the 'Gerd Janson RAW beats mix".

"I've been involved in two or three major genres that are very different from each other," says Vaughn Robert Squire from Canada, better known as Prison Garde, who is making his True Romance debut with our TREP009.
About his 'Melody EP', he says: "It's gospel-influenced house stuff. It's in line with the last couple records that I put out, but I feel like it's a little more mature and that the quality of the recording is a lot higher than anything else I've done as Prison Garde. I recorded it at the Phi Centre in Montreal - it's a beautiful cultural center in the Old Port. Ango and I locked ourselves in there and did a live record on an SSL in a big room."

Marco Niemerski, aka German DJ and producer Tensnake is set to release his 'Keep On Talking / The Walk' EP via his own imprint, True Romance on June 8th 2015.
'Keep On Talking' is a tingling and infectious cut, defined by an exuberant bassline and lush wandering synths that hark back to an era gone by, while 'The Walk' takes a darker, more minimalist tone with slinky, staggered house beats. Building to a crescendo of strings amidst a flurry of synths full of compacted energy, this is a record that sees Niemerski return to the sound that birthed iconic record 'Coma Cat'.
2014 was a huge year for Tensnake, seeing him record two shows for BBC Radio 1's 'Residency' series alongside long term friend and fellow artist Gerd Janson. From Panorama Bar to A Club Called Rhonda, Niemerski's touring schedule also took him to some of the most respected and diverse clubbing spaces on the globe. Fresh for 2015, 'Keep On Talking/The Walk' now sees him delve deep and explore the sound that first solidified him as one of dance music's most celebrated artists.

It's mildly comical, that Tim Wagner and Amy Douglas, two former Long Islanders would choose Sunrise HWY (former Sunrise Highway) as the name for their venture, but one listen to the music, and it's clear as to why they chose such a lofty and expansive name. Sunrise HWY is atmospheric, sophisticated, broad, and most importantly a return to the song as king. After the successful debut EP on True Romance in 2014, we are excited to have the remix EP finally coming out. And it's not just some remixes, we managed to get two of the best remixers around at the moment. Italy's finest Tiger & Woods and Tuff City Kids from Germany.
Larry Tiger & David Woods delivered a very hypnotic version of Sunrise HWY's ‚Some Kinda Fool' while Gerd Janson & Lauer aka Tuff City Kids did their reinterpretation on the originals of ‚Never Enough' and ‚Compass Point'. And if that's not enough, we added their very own Dub to the package as well.

Damon Palermo is from the Metro Detroit region and currently lives in Los Angeles. He has been making adventurous house and disco music under the moniker Magic Touch since August 2011. Magic Touch live sets mix the psychedelic ethos of San Francisco with the house movements of Chicago, Detroit and smatters the whole thing with a solid nod to the UK rave underground. In demand at festivals including Sonar, Unsound and CTM, as well as touring Japan, China, South Korea, Australia, Magic Touch is also traveling the world DJing at places like Berlin's legendary Panorama Bar, Lux Frágil, The Shelter Shanghai and Dommune in Tokyo. His Magic Touch - Nothing More EP is a deep bow to the golden era of House Music and shows his impressive talent as a producer. His sound is raw and kicking but very subtly arranged.
