Luv Jam returns to Phonica White with a stunning new 12" and this time Prosumer lends his remix skills with his awesome reinterpretation of title track 'Quip22'. Luv Jam - the prolific Andrew Cole - has had a string of strong releases over the past few years for the likes of Throne Of Blood, We Play House, Tsuba, Blind Jacks Journey, Crow Castle, Rawax, Housewax and of course Phonica White. That 12" for Phonica - the squelchy acid deepness of 'Mature Oak' back with Cottam's remix - proved to be one of the most popular in the Phonica White series so we're delighted to announce his return. This time, the entire A-Side is taken up by Prosumer's captivating remix of 'Quip22', seven minutes of house mastery that builds slowly then bursts into life under a flurry of synth stabs. The originals grace the flip, kicking off with the melancholic 'Quip22'. It's a gradually building swirl of piano, percussive hits and dreamlike synthetic strings. Luv Jam - better known as Andy Cole - made his name through outings on We Play House and Lany Recordings, and 'Mature Oak' finds him in fine form; an epic, atmospheric track poised on a bed of analog synths and warm pads, driven by galloping drum mechanics that gradually give way to its climax, an irresistibly squelchy acid bassline that marks it as one of Cole's most memorable productions to date. On the flipside we get treated to Cottam’s first ever remix. Cottam has made an impeccable name for himself, with his signature colourful series of untitled 12’s and a contribution to the Story imprint. True to his roots, Cottam’s re-rub of “Mature Oak” is a slo-mo, motorik chugger that makes excellent use of the original’s acid line while taking the whole track a step further. It’s a proper heads down affair that begs for a soundsystem loud enough to do it justice. Limited vinyl pressing of 444 copies – hand stamped and numbered. Red D’s debut album ‘Fantasize & Realize’ has been doing the rounds for a while now, to much acclaim by many of his fans and peers alike. Some of these peers have been close to Red D for decades and it seemed only fitting to let them have a go at remixing some of the album tracks.

An all star cast of Charles Webster, Kai Alcé, Far Out Radio Systems and San Soda stepped in, chose their favourite track on the album and set to work. The result is ‘Re-Fantasized & Realized’, a killer deep remix package for the ages. We can assure you that Red D himself was mightily pleased with these and we’re sure you will be too. More

Things tend to move in circles until they are complete. Such is the case with WPH TEN-8. When FCL released their ‘Cherry Pie E.P.’ on Kai Alcé’s NDATL label it was already decided that Kai Alcé would find a home on WPH as well. And with his absolutely stunning string of remixes of recent years in mind it made sense to ask Kai to take up remix duties for a new FCL release.
.The result is a release that oozes soul all over. The original track is FCL’s ‘let’s make a track and have great singers aka Lady Linn and Gustaph singing about house music’-moment and Kai’s remix is…well…simply another amazing slice of soul from the man that can do no wrong. On his debut E.P. for WPH Adham Zahran presents two pieces of divine house music that ooze soul and musicianship. ‘The Midnight Tower’ will go straight to your hips with it infectious piano hook whereas ‘Disco Infinite’ is a subtle discofied bass affair that would sit well next to classic Theo Parrish or Moodymann stuff. This one has been in the making for a loooong time and we do believe you will agree it was worth the wait. TJ Kong has been releasing some serious vocal house masterpieces over the past year on Compost and other labels of fame, so it was only a matter of time before they ended up on WPH. When it comes to vocals few do it better than Gustaph, the Belgian lead vocalist of Hercules & Love Affair and a close friend of the WPH family. Inside story: Gustaph provided non-credited (but paid) backing vocals for FCL’s ‘It’s You’ stormer. With TJ Kong Gustaph takes up the role of both lyrics writer and vocalist and does so to devastating effect in absolute perfect unison with the track provided by TJ Kong & Modular K. It’s classic but very very fresh. On the flipside TJ Kong & Modular K team up with French wonderboy Art of Tones aka Llorca for a trip into house music stabs & strings bliss. Two collaborations with WPH head honcho Red D and Belgian MC champ TLP add some extra oldskool flavor to the proceedings.
