A highly respected figure for dancers and artists alike, Markus Suckut offers his signature built-to-last sound to Fuse with 'Moments'. In this style, confidence is key and Suckut provides soul to club music in a way few have been able to. Simple yet ever so refined, the German artist furthers his sound with the Belgian label with rolling tracks that reach beyond the dancefloor yet again. 'Moments' is just that, a collection of instances spent inside the mind or outwards into the world in order to move and connect.


The A1 remains usually the first impression of every record, so it makes sense that 'Patience' would mark the beginning of this eight release for the Brussels' club. A bubbly yet impactful track, 'Patience' rolls through six minutes in no time with eccentric percussion and a viscous low-end. Unafraid to break the codes in order to push his sound forward while respecting the essence of what makes the genre great, Suckut puts years of mastery at work in order to find balance and air between his elements. This impressive low-end rhythm is continued into 'Resurrection' - which is more of an exploration of dissonance and texture than its predecessor. With hi-hats whipping around the stereo field through metallic bends and a harmonic kick/bass, the record knows for what context 'Resurrection' is reserved for. 'Myth' then comes along to lighten the load with a positive groove and an extraverted arrangement, maintaining balance to the overall EP. Complete with a subtly modulating live-played percussion that echoes the character of a vocal and layered over an almost vintage drum sequence, the persistence of 'Myth' finds a sweet spot between techno and house, making it a versatile tool in almost any record bag. The soul of the EP, however, belongs to its title track 'Moments'. Appropriately named, this fourth piece concludes Markus Suckut's latest statement for the dancefloor. A suspension of time in structure as much as in melody, the producer takes the time to unveil each element of the record while maintaining a burning intriguing throughout. A truly timeless piece reserved for only the most special moments and most deserving crowds, Suckut proves once again that his understanding of emotion through his medium will echo his music across the world for years to come.

Markus Suckut returns with his second EP on 'made of Concrete'. Named after the Ruhr area, one of the densest regions in Germany, 'Ruhr' shows off the mesmerizing skillset and versatility of the producer. His hometown Düsseldorf is one of the three major cities on the Ruhr map and has brought up its very own Düsseldorf-sound within German electronic music, with local heroes Kraftwerk paving the way in the 1970s. The twists and turns of the Ruhr river and the musical paths that electronic music has taken all come together in this EP, which steers from techno to electronica with ease.

While 'Tunnel' is a rather straightforward minimal techno banger, the title track 'Ruhr' is almost melancholic. 'At The Park With Friends' ventures into the realms of ambient. The 5-tracker is accompanied by a technoid remix of 'Smoke' by Markus Suckut's longtime friend Thomas Hessler.

When not helming his own imprints, SCKT and Pattern Research, the Du¨sseldorf artist has been releasing on Rekids since 2015 and is now a core member of the label’s family. Earlier this year saw the arrival of ‘New Life EP’, a mesmerising release exemplary of the producer’s knack for making imaginative house and techno complete with a compelling groove. No stranger to the long player format having released two albums previously, Markus Suckut returns to Radio Slave’s label with a quality nine-track album. From the word go Suckut’s album demonstrates his versatility as a musician, initiating with a beatless intro named ‘Escape’, before ‘Breeze’ comes into play with its skipping percussion and loopy atmospherics. Crunchy snares and crystalline synths make up ‘Sun’s Out’ whilst ‘Future Is Not Always Bright’ drives forward with its sultry low-end, ethereal pads and sci-fi bleeps, leading into ‘Take A Break’ and its medley of elaborate drums, living up to its name. ‘Above The Clouds’ is comprised of intricate notes and soothing chords whilst the machinelike ‘Orchid’ features electro inspired melodies, contrasting to the album’s title track, ‘Heaven Is A State Of Mind’, with its bumpy bass and warping textures. ‘Wonderland (Version)’ is a ghostly acid cut which suitably closes the album.

Following a stellar contribution to Radio Slave's Clone Wars remix package, Markus Suckut makes his full Rekids debut with the Heat On Feet EP. The three tracks on offer capture Suckut's ability to marry intensity with groove, with the toughness of his iron-forged techno breakbeats and ambient textures. The A cut, Untitled #1, is perhaps the EP's most instantly ear-catching, framing itself around a swinging hardcore break with a bubbling acid bassline coming to the fore over the course of the track's seven-minute running time. #2 opens the B-side with a fast, stripped-down, atmospheric techno tool, while #3 closes the EP with a pounding 4x4 melting away to reveal a romantic star-gazing breaks & pads combo. The EP marks the start of a new phase in Suckut's already illustrious career, which has seen the German release on many of techno's most respected labels. More Rekids releases are in the works, plus 2016 will see the resurrection of his own SCKT imprint, with the two labels together becoming the producer's main outlets.

You might think that Yassin Omidi is a newcomer, but in fact it is the new-coming of an already accomplished and respected head who now delves deep into the world of dub techno on Steve O'Sullivan's Mosaic. The beatless 'Sluder Dub' is coated in heavy fog and static with conscious vocal musings and the roomiest of chords landing with great drama and tons of echo. On the flip is another analogue sound that features buffed metal dub chords, classic effects and a shapeshifting ambient hiss. It's dramatic despite being such a minimal piece.

Steve O'Sullivan's Mosaic label is back with a second volume of its dubs series, this time on nice yellow vinyl with Sub Basics and Fletcher given one side each to shine. Sub Basics goes first with 'Mediterranean', a lovely liquid dub with bottomless depths and perfectly smooth, frictionless drums. Lovely soft melodies drift in and out as the echoing hits and icy hi-hats help oil this most heady of grooves. On the flip, Fletcher offers up 'Sludge' which is a little more tense and menacing, with darker bass and more texture as well as distant groaning pads that keep you guessing and on edge.

Dub techno don Steve O'Sullivan's Mosaic label is back with a new dubs series and vol 1 kicks things off with a real doozy on lovely red wax. The boss himself offers up a Bluetrain special edition dub of Hidden Sequence's 'Synapse' which is all icy lines and liquid rhythms which make you think of some frozen lake on a misty morning. Sub Basics (Temple of Sound, Lion Charge Records) opens up with a fresh dub laden track with rippling chords, tons of echo and rolling drums on 'Quarters.' Both are timeless dub outings, as you would expect from this label.

Berlin native and Rubisco label head Nick Beringer lays down some serious rolling beat science for Mosaic’s 5th LTDX edition. The EP kicks off in style in the shape of ‘Intercity’: straddling a square 4/4 house rhythm with an ‘Art of Trance’ spirit ? all brought together in contemporary style. Layers of subtly filtered melody pulsate their way throughout, rising and falling as minimal elements collide for maximal sonic impact.Switching to more familiar territory, ‘Time Shift’ reins things back a notch as tight 909 beats swing to well rounded bottom end, carrying the warm layers of evolving synths and chorded elements with precision effect. Steve O'Sullivan invites a trio of artists to lay down some serious head nodding beats for ‘Rhythm Method Vol.4’. Calling on one of Canada’s trusted talents and solid purveyors of deep grooves Jay Tripwire leads the charge with ‘Mung Bean Medley’. There’s simply no messing: pushing through a taught rhythmic workout, incessant toms and metallic tones etch deep into the mood - awash with dubbed out atmospherics and crafty touches that more than a give a nod to the dark house dubs of yesteryear. On the flip, ‘Hidden Sequence’ inject their creative flex, demonstrating the all important art of minimalist bounce with ‘Synchro’. The kind of fully swung beats and tripped out twinges that brighten the groove more often than not when 7am comes calling. The svelte bustle and soothing tones of ‘Makka’ from Fletcher by contrast, soothe the mind and leaves plenty of room to kick back as weary limbs take their toll: a fine tonic indeed.

With the summer season well and truly in full step, Mosaic returns with two finely tuned cuts of classic dubbed-out minimalism. A Side "In The Night" is a typically understated affair from label boss Steve O'Sullivan under his Wise Caucasian alias. Propelled by a bass-heavy tone and lit by layers of percussion that build on each other you'll find yourself getting lost in the washes of sparse vocals, rhythmic stabs and splashes of delay that reach out over the dance floor. Far from providing instant gratification, this requires timely and repeated play to uncover the layers of subtle finesse and craftsmanship: perfect for keeping those feet moving at any hour of the night, or day for that matter. On the B Side, Steve teams up once again with fellow Londoner , Frazer Campbell on "Rise" which goes straight for the full smile effect as the duo conjure up one of those rare pieces of magic. Set to a melee of skippy percussion, high-pitched toms and warmly toned melody, the prophetic voice of Maya Angelou and her timeless poem "Still I Rise" resonates supreme, bringing a touch of thoughtful intelligence that's all too often forgotten. As the track hits it peak, you can't help but feel the deep elation a groove like this brings in the darkest of hours.

As Mosaic reaches release number 40, Steve O'Sullivan dives into another studio collaboration with his new label mate and expert hand, Mike Schommer - bringing in the talents of Rod Modell on remix duties. Etching two slices of dub heavy grooves that cover either side of the techno and house spectrum, their first effort emphasises the former on title track "Submerged" (B1). It doesn't pull any punches - precision moulded bass takes centre stage around evolving synths and classic delay action. Their 2nd "Depth Charge Dub" (B2) leans more towards the latter as the duo focus on the combination of a rolling sub, laidback percussion and subtle stabs that cycle gently around. The cherry on top comes in the form of Rod Modell's "DeepChord's Negative-Space Exploration Version" as he takes a 9 min trip to the hinterland of his sonic imagination, elegantly finding new layers and spatial effects. Call it what you will, 'dubbed out house with a splash of techno' or 'dubbed out techno with a splash of house' - this is heavyweight material.

With spring well and truly in the air and party season in step, Mosaic Records boss Steve O'Sullivan launches Mosaic's 38th release - joining forces with fellow Londoner Frazer Campbell for a new studio collaboration. Not content with letting the dust settle from his recent work alongside Ricardo Villalobos, O'Sullivan has stayed a little closer to his London home to work with Frazer Campbell for this latest tag team effort. A dextrous hand in the mix and producer in his own right, Campbell has a passion for all things that sit on the deeper end of the house, techno and electronica spectrum. In his own words, thought emoting music is central to his mission having launched Open Recordings and Elliot Project Records last year: a worthy sparring partner indeed. Since the start of the year, the pair had their heads down focusing on finding a happy medium between deeply swung grooves and the airy influences of Detroit - shaking out an interesting trio of tracks for their label debut. Far from treading the obvious path, the main event A1 'Hypnotonic' revels in a lighter touch as metronomic beat programming cycles endlessly to a held set of notes. Off-kilter bass pulses, warped out vocals and effect splashes all intersect to keep the energy input constant as they capture one of those less frenzied moments where the very notion of time seems to hold still. Make no mistake, this is a slow burn vibe. Head to the flipside B1 'Soultonic' to plunge yourself straight into hip twitching mode when the lights go down. A deep chord, syncopated hats and deftly tweaked synths echo as a full dose of shuffle inflicts its move. Simple yet so effective, this track will not let you down. Winding things back up a touch, the tougher edge of 'Alleyway Funk' pushes the feeling on thanks to a thumping kick and a deft nod towards UK Garage. Met with a soft glisten of a Rhodes piano and tweakish melody, the pair round things off in a boyant mood - fans of Soul Capsule and Schatrax will no doubt agree. Repeat play of this EP is recommended as its all the more rewarding for it.

Steve O'Sullivan's Mosaic Split Series is back with a fresh instalment for you in 2017 as the boss continues to discover and compile music from artists new and old for the well-received series that marked his return a few years ago. Focusing on three slabs of high grade deepness for release number six, the A Side comes from a firm Mosaic favourite Dean Decosta, a long-time friend and contributor to the imprint. Hailing from California, his music has always held a timeless quality and subtlety that is in key with the label and Steve's ethos. Stripping everything back to basics, Recon feels like a tribute to the last days of summer and the warm coastal breeze that inhabits the shore in Decosta's native California. Filling the space with warm pads and twinkling synths, the bass end neatly pulses and tweaks throughout as it elegantly moves to a spatial groove that seems to freeze the very moment in time you inhabit. Complimented perfectly by Within Without, Leeds lad Bobby O'Donnell serves up an instant ace for the B side as he fuses a tough ended kick with dub tinged Rhodes chords, pattering hats and swirling melody: evoking the kind of uplifting vibe that won't go amiss with DJs and dancers alike. Expect some heavy rotation and smiling faces on this. Last, but not least, rising Swedish producer Sean Dixon lays down a fusion of Omar S styled synth jams to dub driven house. By taking elements of the classic and injecting a fresh angle, Dixon creates a unique space in the sound that builds and builds, deserving both your time and attention. With repeated play, you can't but help admire his craft. If you haven't already checked out his catalogue don't get caught sleeping.

Long-time influential techno label Mosaic is back with a fine new EP from Germany's Andre Kronert. The Odd/Even boss has been turning out dubby and atmospheric EPs for ten years now, and here he adds three more such sumptuous tracks to his discography. A Track Called Jinx is first and is an economical but effective roller with vast drums, subtle hi hats and a wonky lead synth line that brings a trippy feel to the groove. Perfect for basements or warehouses alike, it works on both head and heel in style. Bottom Line is more forceful and hard hitting thanks to slamming drums and a nervous, twitching, haunted synth sound off in the distance. Racing along and taking you with it, the urgency of this one really is compelling. Finally, Pressure Dub is somewhere in the middle, with rolling kicks looping down low, scattered percussive hits up top and unsettling synth motifs all layered up into a smooth dub techno classic. Spacious and spooky it is another effortlessly essential cut from Kronert and Mosaic. Available on limited edition 180 yellow vinyl only.

The resurgence of Mosaic continues in proper form with the fifth installment of the Split Series. In keeping with the theme of pairing lesser-known artists with more established producers, Part Five welcomes Annie Errez back to the fold after her appearance on Split Series: Part Four and teams her up with Clandestine, the production duo consisting of UK house/techno mainstays, Neville Watson and Justin Drake (of Peace Division fame). Needless to say, this is a very special collaboration, indeed. A1 - Annie Errez "Discovery Inn" Following up her two blazing cuts for Split Series: Part Four, Annie blesses the A side of Part Five with a pulsating, dub inflected groove in the true Mosaic tradition. Simple yet infectious in a Blue Train style, "Discovery Inn" bumps along with classic stabs that fill the space between the bass with finesse. This is one of those grooves that can go on forever and never get old - pure quality. B1 - Clandestine "Slave to The System" Neville and Justin get right down to it with dirty, swinging, old school vibes. Raw, saturated beats snap and shuffle as gritty synths punctuate the patterns. As the title implies, this one is designed for a proper sound system, kicking along unapologetically on behalf of those who seek rough and tough sounds that reside in the zone between house and techno. As they say, "Let the rhythm hit 'em." B2 - Clandestine "Vengeance" Keeping the raw grooves alive, "Vengeance" is nothing short of a disco/techno excursion of epic proportions. Classic drum programming frames a menagerie of chopped sample bits, making for a loopy head-trip of sonic goodness - once it gets into your mind, there's no stopping this tune. This is some prime time weirdness (of the best kind) that is sure make the freaks come out of the shadows.

The next instalment of this nine part series sees Mosaic take a diversion into darker techno territory with contributions from Ed Davenport, Aubrey and Ozka. Over the last few years Ed has been quietly gaining respect from those who like their house splashed with a good dose of techno. The Berghain regular's "Bloodchild" rides the fine line between both genres perfectly with a dark twisted bass line driven groove and eerie vocal line that typifies his unique sound. Next up is Aubrey who has provided a storming techno monster of a remix of Ed Davenport's unreleased "Islands." A very welcome return to the label after a 17 year break and when seen alongside his recent Ostgut Ton, Ferox and Metroplex appearances it is no wonder that people are calling 2014 his best year yet. Belgian techno wizkid David Nizet (aka Ozka) provides the closing track to the EP. Despite having recorded for the likes of Dave Angel's Rotation and Mowar this guy has been bubbling under the radar for some time . With forthcoming contributions to John Beltrans Dado and Arne Weinberg's Diametric coming up we are sure his talent won't go unnoticed for much longer . The next instalment of this nine part series sees Mosaic take a diversion into darker techno territory with contributions from Ed Davenport, Aubrey and Ozka. Over the last few years Ed has been quietly gaining respect from those who like their house splashed with a good dose of techno. The Berghain regular's "Bloodchild" rides the fine line between both genres perfectly with a dark twisted bass line driven groove and eerie vocal line that typifies his unique sound. Next up is Aubrey who has provided a storming techno monster of a remix of Ed Davenport's unreleased "Islands." A very welcome return to the label after a 17 year break and when seen alongside his recent Ostgut Ton, Ferox and Metroplex appearances it is no wonder that people are calling 2014 his best year yet. Belgian techno wizkid David Nizet (aka Ozka) provides the closing track to the EP. Despite having recorded for the likes of Dave Angel's Rotation and Mowar this guy has been bubbling under the radar for some time . With forthcoming contributions to John Beltrans Dado and Arne Weinberg's Diametric coming up we are sure his talent won't go unnoticed for much longer . B1: Titonton Duvante "Such Good Taste" Despite an impressive back catalogue , including releases on Metamorphic, 7th City and Planet E , US techno veteran Titonton remains one of techno's best kept secrets and to say we are happy to welcome him to Mosaic is a massive understatement. Fusing the melodic edge of classical Detroit Techno with the jacking dancefloor intensity of Chicago, Titonton's "Such Good Taste," is a welcome addition to the Mosaic catalogue. ....the combination of kick drum and bassline alone are a thing of beauty... there is no way your ass won't move to this beast! B2: Eric Cloutier " Balsamaceous" Eric has made a name of himself over the last few years on the DJ circuit with sets that have been described as sprawling in depth and sophistication, fusing the brooding intensity of tripping techno with the mechanic funk of contemporary house. Thankfully for Mosaic his productions do the same! "Balsamaceous" is Eric's second release and showcases perfectly his unique take on the Detroit/Berlin Techno schooling he has obviously had: a deeply emotional yet hip wiggling take on the techno/house hybrid. Since its inception in 2022 the PILLZ label has built a reputation for refined underground moods, and “Take A Chill Pill” is certainly no different.; The astounding Belgian producer; Session 4000 maneuvers and delievers 4 cuts between gritty shades of house and electro. This EP shifts the night into fifth gear with spaced out atmosfears and direct drive. Here is a producer whose experience for the hazy after hours takes us deep into such imagined trips as a “ravey conga paradise”, or some “hypnotic textured blend of vox sampled hits,” or twisted ravey motions, and big bass lines that blast the floor.

SEXTAPE005 lands in the form of four ethereal modular jams courtesy of Bristol-based Boulderhead. “Tomorrow People” is a record which tickles the dancefloor’s most tender spots, the tracks are trippy, dreamy and warm yet all the while driving, complex and intense.

The record kicks off with Okii - a sassy bassline driven groover with a playful vocal destined to put a smile on any listeners face. The intensity is turned up a notch with A2 - Tomorrow People, a slinky fist pumper with squelchy stabs and dissonant vocals designed to get the crowd going.

On the flip Informatic serves a tight yet smooth ride into bliss via shuffly percussion and long and enveloping pads resulting in a track with perfect utility for the warm up or the crack on. The EP ends with Nutrient Streams, a sticky minimal roller that cruises effortlessly with the same psychedelic swagger heard throughout the whole EP.

Environ is proud to announce the reissue of Morgan Geist's cult classic Super. Originally released in summer 2001, the record is an ode to New York City and many of the producer's most vital influences. With live strings from the Kelley Polar Quartet and plenty of disco DNA, it's no mystery that this was made by half of Metro Area (and released just months before their underground classic "Miura"). Remastered and cut by the award-winning Matt Colton of Alchemy Mastering.

After a 10 year hiatus, Steve O'Sullivan's Mosaic label returns under a new guise: Mosaic Split Series. This series will be split between old school artists from Mosaic and beyond and artists from the new school. This first release sees Mosaic legend Jorge Zamacona don his Urban Sombrero for the latest installment in his "mosaic efforts" series. A deep, trippy, dirty house workout in Jorge's unique style. In keeping with the whole ethos of this project we have newcomer Ben Buitendijk's offering , "Promised Land," on the flip. An ultra-deep dub house/techno track that echoes the Mosaic sound of old with a modern twist. Melodic and atmospheric, this one deserves to be played from beginning to end.

S.A.M. returns to their Delaphine imprint with three tracks for the dance floor and beyond. All tracks carry a signature groovy and punchy low-end with deep other-dimensional swelling atmospheres and immersive compositions. The opening track 'What Defines You As A Human' takes you underwater with bubbly synth effects and arpeggiated bass plucks filling up the lows while flanging sizzling hi hats tickle the eardrum. The groove is driving with a single reflective line being repeated in whispering vocals.

The second track 'Lundeborg Winds' follows up with pad chords topped with an organically tweaked Moog melody all collapsing into a darker and stormy vibe. Here a new acidic bass line keeps you moving and brings you into the storm with curiosity. A soft and dreamy piano part carries the tunes outro and puts the storm to rest.

The full sided cut on the B-side named ‘Dive’ could refer to S.A.M. 's prior release from 2016 ‘Descend II Ascend’, because the track really does take you to deep inner oceans before ascending to shivering heights. Here the journey up high seems to be conditioned on diving inward. A solemn almost religious choir takes the composition in a unique direction toward a place somewhere in between the beats of the heart.

Radio Slave's 'Venti' is released on Rekids on May 17th and is a twelve-track celebration of Matt Edward's most prominent alias' history. Starting life as a series of singles that began in 2023, 'Venti' sees Edwards explore lower tempos, House, Disco, and the Pop reinterpretations that birthed the moniker back in 2001.

From Venti’s opening track onwards, a glistening piece of piano-led house that's become an anthem at Sean Johnston and the late Andrew Weatherall's lauded ALFOS parties, it is clear that Edwards is keen to celebrate the past but through the lens of now. A Radio Slave favourite, 'Wait A Minute', is updated to include a powerful vocal from Nez. Kylie's 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' - a track that kicked Radio Slave into the modern dance music consciousness is reinvented as an Italo-inspired cover featuring Michael Love Michael delivering glorious vocals. 'Wild Life' and 'Wake Up', another two tracks that, as singles, dominated house and disco sets of the great and good in 2023, feel simultaneously fresh while paying homage to the origins of House - message-heavy vocals and all. A cover of Audion's 'Mouth to Mouth' and Edwards' tribute to Terry Hall, the Fun Boy Three reimagining 'The Lunatics' are keen displays of Radio Slave's knack for taking on beloved tracks and making them his own. The lasers-set-to-stun cut-and-paste nu-disco of Radio Slave’s 'Jaws' is a muscular and timely reminder that the punch of a track lies in its feel rather than tempo, while Edward's command of dub aesthetics and unmatched ability to stretch grooves into a tension-filled journey shines through on 'New Balance' and the epic closer, 'Thirty-Six'. Never one to entirely give into the throes of the 4:4, the cinematic electro of 'Stranger In The Night' and Balearic Cagedbaby collab 'Amnesia' round out 'Venti' as the whole Radio Slave experience - as intense as it is subtle.

One of the most prolific and critically lauded electronic music artists of the past two and half decades, Matt Edwards was born in Catford, London, in the early 1970s. When acid house hit the city, Edwards was deep in the scene, and he's remained there since. Residencies at the groundbreaking Ministry of Sound and an 'unofficial' residency that has seen him become one of Panorama Bar's most booked DJs during his 15-year stint living in Berlin have provided the grounding for an enviable tour diary that continues today.

His Rekids imprint, a label that has platformed some of dance music's biggest names, has been regarded as a high benchmark for two decades with Matt as sole A&R. Collaborations with legendary artists such as DJ Hell and Robert Hood, releases for Running Back, R&S, Innervisions, Figure and more, and a remixography that simply couldn't be repeated in modern music show just how important Radio Slave is.
