Poker Flat welcomes new artist Show-B to the ranks! Mathias Schober is the talent behind this new and exciting production project - having already released on the respected Compost Black Label - and now announces a whole new batch of funk laden, truly deep electronic jams.
'Far Down' is a swirling and all-encompassing tech-house journey. Characterized by pitching synths and focused percussion, the building track really ignites as its slow burning themes come to the fore and a remarkable moment is created.
The technical and dubbed-out 'Time Comes' is a superb example of a modern electronic hybrid. Crossing heavy dub stabs and delay-washed fx with thick, room filling synths and exceptional detailing, this inventive and textural track is pure home-grown and highly recommended! A dub version is also included which focuses on Show-B's stylish drum fills and great feel for tension in the arrangement.

Renowned Jazz musician Ulf Kleiner lands on Ian Pooley’s Pooled Music this April with ‘Tubes’Grande’ featuring three remixes from the label boss.

A long term collaborator of Pooley, lending rich keyboard work to the legendary producer’s records over the years, Ulf Kleiner is better known outside of electronic music. Taken from his 2020 LP, ‘Pianoskop’, ’Tubes Grande’ is a light but immersive piece of acoustic modern Jazz that, at just 3.36 minutes, begs repeat listens. Pooley’s interpretations, a ‘Main Version’, ‘Dub’ and ‘Analog Piano Dub Mix’ lead Kleiner’s work to the dancefloor in distinct ways, showing off the producers deft touch and studio experience across the package. From the decidedly organic, mid-paced house of the ‘Analog Piano Dub’ to the dense, electronic melodies of the ‘Main Version’ to the blissed out ‘Ian Pooley Dub’ this Pooley in the form of his career.

A figure at the forefront of the house and techno scene for over two decades, Berlin-based producer and DJ Ian
Pooley stands today as one of modern electronic music’s most respected names with releases to date via the
likes of Force Inc, NRK, Transmat, Plus8 and Innervisions to name just a few. Having released material from
internationally renowned names including Bicep, Oskar Offerman and Derrick Carter through to emerging talents
and label favourites such as Spain’s Indira Paganotto and German talent Show-B aka Mathias Schober, here
we see a highly anticipated return to Pooledmusic as he delivers ‘Together, Aright!’ featuring fellow German
talent Perry Colo, set for release on the label this summer.

Indira Paganotto returns with her third Pooledmusic EP, featuring a pair of remixes from label boss Ian Pooley. Having made her debut in 2012 aged just 19, Indira has spent the intervening years honing her sound and exploring new approaches to music.
Currently based in Madrid, Paganotto's father was a DJ in Goa, where she spent a significant portion of her upbringing. Having grown up with her father's collection of trance, acid & psychedelic rock records, Paganotto's eclectic musical education has informed her music's individuality. Her 2014 solo EP 'Time Out Man' blended these inspirations into a pair of evocative house grooves. This development continues with Kashmir & Savannah, both of which find the 24-year-old producer in confident form. Ian Pooley provides a pair of his own trademark dancefloor-focused dubs to complete a package that confirms Paganotto as a new talent in the ascendancy.

Belfast house stars Bicep apply their remix magic for the A1 cut, streamlining the Pooley classic Cold Wait into a chunky UK house thumper which has already proven a winner in their sets, while WHITE label boss Oskar Offermann delivers a subtle, grooving UK Garage-inspired take on Hit N' Run. Ian Pooley returns to Pooledmusic with his first solo EP of original material on the label since his 2013 album
‘What I Do’. The intervening period has seen Pooley release another hugely popular EP for Innervisions and launch
Pooledmusic’s techno-focused sister label Montage with a pair of new releases under his tougher Silvershower alias,
while labels including Figure, Rejected and Scenario have been mining his rich back catalogue to re-release some of
his best loved classic productions.
The Turakina EP follows Pooledmusic’s previous two EPs from the label’s extended family, SHOW-B and
Indira Paganotto, in 2014. Whereas 2015’s focus was on the launch of Montage, 2016 welcomes Pooley back to his
main imprint with another three-track 12” that mines the expressive, textured house music that won Pooley a new
generation of fans on his Innervisions releases.

The A-side, Turakina, is a classic Pooley groove, stripped down
to its elements then layered with melodic detail that builds over the course of the track, subtly bringing a sense
of compelling urgency. The B-side finds two versions of the deeper, more emotional Mudou.
The original version is in the same ‘miniature epic’ mold of 2012 hit Compurhythm, conveying the same sense of
dancefloor drama, while the Dub take a lighter touch to tease out even more of its melancholic nature.
The Turakina EP is dedicated to the loving memory of Pooley’s beloved dog Basil, who recently passed away
at 12 years of age.
