Vidis brought us a handful of hidden gems last year. A selection showcasing the under-estimated and often overlooked Lithuanian House scene. After months of sifting and sorting, Vidis came to what has become 'Silence Please!' - a 14-track compilation that surprised many and turned more than a few heads with a unique taste of Vilnius House. We now present a very special vinyl edition - featuring tracks hand-picked by Vidis, tracks he felt deserved a wax debut.

Darius Vaikas is exploring House territories with his own custom made compass. Some may know him from You Will Never Be Alone, a little leftfield gem featured on a very limited Project: Mooncircle's EP split among four artists. Some may know him because of an amazing remix he did for the fellow Lithuanians mmpsuf and their song The Sailors. His original track White Eights was one of the highlights of Silence Please!, a compilation presented by Get Physical Music. But everyone should know that this is just a beginning and a new Darius' EP for Best Kept Secret is yet another proof of an emerging talent and his idiosyncratic sound.

Few Nolder first introduced himself in a deep and delicate manner back in 2006. A Lithuanian label Partyzanai released his debut EP and some black techno magic happened. Soon after Few Nolder had his single out on Mike Paradinas' highly regarded Planet Mu, and his debut album was soon to follow. Silence Family, the music label, event promotion and artist agency founded by Vidis for bringing together luminaries of Lithuanian electronica, started operating in 2009. Few Nolder quickly became involved. He even branched out into a shady space disco alias New Found Land that steps into the stage when it is least expected. Live gigs in Lithuania and abroad (Latvia, Estonia, Russia, UK, Austria, Germany, France), varied original productions, unexpected co-productions, genre bending remix work, even electronic operas and ballets - the last few years have been an adventurous ride full of events and discoveries. Few Nolder is now ready to release a new 12" on Silence's sub label Best Kept Secret to further his recherche and moody point of artistic view that someone once pinned down as 'female techno'. Never failing to surprise, always full of unprecedented material that takes the listener to a mellow yet driving soundscape.

Mario basanov, THE Lithuanian super producer is coming back for more and for showing the other side of his multifaceted musical persona. Best known for catchy hooks, pop melodies and vocal productions, Mario delivers here two slow burners in form of Closer and Something About. Darker and deeper than one might expect Mario Basanov is at his best here.
On remix duties are two fellows from the other side of Mario's studio wall - a dynamic duo of Saulty and Bradka better known as Downtown Party Network. The combo pitched up the tempo, beefed up the groove, and even added some euphoric stabs and strings for enhanced dance floor usability of the title track.

Saulty and Bradka, the two behind Vilnius based Downtown Party Network tag team, combine together more than 10 years of DJ and production experience. Their original productions have been signed by Eskimo, Loud East, Bear Funk. Their remix work has been commissioned by Pete Herbert, Kolombo, Main Stem, Deadstock 33's, TJ Kong & Nuno Dos Santos and even Sander Kleinenberg. Their gig geography ranges from London to Dubai. Which doesn't give even a tiny shadow of doubt on their musical credibility and ability to rock the party. Here they deliver the first single of another kind for Best Kept Secret - killer bass line combined with irresistible Jazz chords on A side and some Metro Area'ish stripped down funkiness on B side. Dance music machinery at its best.
