Tardis Records are delighted to welcome UK tech-house hero Flow to the Tardis Records stable for their eighth release. The three tracks making up the Trine EP were recorded together with Simon Moorecroft (a.k.a. Simon Vinyl Junkie) around the time of his first vinyl releases back in 1996-1997. All three tracks sound completely contemporary whilst having more than enough old school flavour to give flashbacks to any 90's ravers. Lead track 'Boy Girl Action' has skipping, garage-influenced beats with rolling bass and swirling atmospherics, whilst a breakbeat, vocals and a stabby intro give 'Trine' on the flip a more ravey feel. Closing out the EP, 'I See You' is the dubbiest cut here, with another heavy bassline, cut-up vocals,and subtly swung percussion. Eli and Oscar have loved testing these tracks out on the road and can vouch for their impact on a peak-time dancefloor! More

After the success of Closer to Freedom in 2014, Chicago legend DJ Jes returns to Tardis Records with the Between The Lines EP, featuring two lost tracks from his personal archives and a brand new offering. Opener ‘No Fooling’ is reduced to the bare essentials until an elegant snatch of piano and spoken word sample break it down further; when the track kicks back in with a vengeance everyone in the room will know all about it, but it remains subtle enough to work the day after as well. On the flip, ‘Between The Lines’ is tougher and dubbier and will do some serious peak-time damage, whilst new track ‘Lost’ is a cut-up banger for the floor and a perfect DJ tool. All tracks have been meticulously edited and rearranged by label owners Eli Verveine and Oscar Schubaq in order to extend the grooves and maximise dance floor impact. More

rocking dancefloors and enchanting listeners with his uniquely abstract and tripped-out take on
minimal house for two decades and counting. On the A-side, “Soda Island” hangs cut-up vocal stabs
over the last word in bone-dry, bass-heavy grooves. “Sparkling Please” on the flip starts out cheerfully
but then subtly mutates into spooked insectoid psychedelia anchored by crisp percussion and bass.
Drop either of these cuts at the right moment and watch the dancers lose their minds! Mastered and

Thusly, Eli Verveine and Oscar Schubag have asked DJ Jes from Chicago to perform his West Coast-inflected house magic. The fourth release on the Zurich/Berlin based label embodies a unique style all Jes' own: There's that mesmerizing, dubby and tribalistic disposition, chromatic and slightly outside the box. Propelled by whipping drums and twisted moods, opener "Closer to Freedom" proves to be an irresistible and cleverly-conceived shaker. "Echoes" delves into acoustic space-time and dribbles by way of percussive straightforwardness. Last but not least, there's that house tool called "Difficult": a metallically clad and sharply hissing bass-monster, briefly steering into a save haven of jazzy chords. Picking up the trail he left fifteen years ago on his "Mosaic Efforts" mini-series for Steve O'Sullivan's Mosaic label, the veteran producer portrays dazzling acumen: Bursting with the sheer power of clever drum programming, "Cut Twice" is an offering that will make people lose their heads on dance-floors: Jagged, massive, irresistible.
